Just let us know when you will be there, we will meet you for dinner or lunch.

Ron, it looks like the 2nd pic was taken maybe from the Stratosphere. I can see the Sahara right below it.

So, are you bringing Kim to Kelli's birthday party at the Paris?

Kris-If you like seafood, there is a wonderful seafood buffet at the Rio Hotel. It is Chuck's favorite restaurant anywhere. They have crab legs, shrimp, oysters, lobster and much much more. It is a very interesting hotel w/ a Mardi Gras theme. We also like to visit the shops at the forum (Ceasars Palace) and the shops at the Aladdan. I miss Vegas!! We used to go there all the time because my parents had a home there. Unfortunately, after my mom passed away it became too difficult for my dad to maintain. My dad sold the home. As a result, it's been 2 years since we were in Vegas.

you are right Willie.....can't find the paris pics!!

My favorite vegas story...............My DDs and myself were sitting around the pool at the Monte Carlo and I went iside to the brewery to get a beer....I got a bottle of my favorite (miller lite) and I asked "can I bring this outside"? Just meaning the glass bottle by the pool.....and the bar tender told me "sir this is Vegas, you can bring that to church if you like"! That's when I decided I LOVED it there.... :rotfl2:

Anybody heard from TCD?

No posts since 4-10-06 on the Thanksgiving report thread. I sent him a PM and no reply. He must be off of the DIS for a while.

Oh well, if I don't hear from him soon, I will call him and play some sort of joke on him. pirate:

Things have slowed down since they closed the best DIS trip report thread!

But I'm willing to bet this thread will run a close second to the other thread as it moves closer to Thanksgiving 2007. (Hey, look how fast time goes by. We've been posting for 5 months now AFTER the Turkey cruise.)

What are everyone's plans for July 4th? :)

The Millers will be hanging out for a week at The Beach Club in Gulf Shores. Alabama. It is a great resort for the kids.

AND... EATING at Lulu's at Gulf Shores. Only Key Lime Pie can get that big of a smile out of me!

LuLu Buffet is Jimmy's sister. Her restaurant is what Margaritaville OUGHT to be! On the BEACH!

I wish we had plans for July 4th. Unfortunately, with it being on a tuesday this year, we have to work on monday. :confused3 Oh well!! We are looking forward to our long weekend in NYC (June 22-26) for Chuck's cousin's wedding. :sunny: We told Mason that we will be taking him to the Empire State Building and he asked if we can meet King Kong??? Also, I don't know if any of you saw the new Disney movie The Wild. We saw it and now he keeps talking about the woman with the spikey hair a/k/a the Statue of Liberty!! :rotfl2:

Hi All! Hope all is well with each and every one of you!!

We'll be at the Iberostar Tucan in Riviera Maya!!! Not quite Disney but hopefully it'll hold us over until April '07...

a question for the gang (even tho I know unless I fall into some $ I won't be joining y'all turkeys)... I'm pretty set on doing the disney transfers this time but coming in the night before we'll be staying at the Hyatt at the airport... here is the tough one!!! anyone know how we fill up our softsided coolers??? is there a beverage facility anywhere near the airport?? yikes... I know the disney bus won't be stopping for us like our limo did :rotfl2: might be a deal breaker :lmao:

Hey Sherri, I have a friend who went to one of the Iberostar resorts on the Riviera Maya and loved it. Kelli and I have been wanting to try one of them. Make sure you let us know how it went with a trip report back here!

Willie, I certainly will BUT I certainly thought you'd have some insight on the beer dilemma :rotfl2:

4th of JULY?? Well, that is our subdivisions holiday.....I starts out with a venician sp? boat parade around the lake on the 3rd then a parade down Lakeshore Drive (my street) on the 4th which usually ends up in a water fight with some of the "boys" on floats. Yes, we usually have about 60 people over for the parade with a few drinks and water fight.....then a cruise to the club house on the golf carts and coolers. There are bands and beer gardens down there......somewhere between then and the fireworks at sundown some bean bags will be tossed, some water skiing and of course a few things on the grill.....RED, WHITE and BLUE jellow shots!!!!

No dilemma.......pack all your beer in a carryon suitcase......put your collapsable cooler in the suit case, when you want it fill it with your beer and ice or.......get a bucket and have "beer boy" aka Willie/Dubya carry it around for you!!! :rotfl2:

Some of my fondest memories have begun with, "Hey! beer man!"

Hey Turkeys--this thread was buried at the end of page 2. We cannot allow that to happen!! :bounce: :bounce: Happy "hump day"!!! :cool1:

You folks are talking 4th of July plans? I just finalized our New Year's plans - LOL! Actually just after New Years....I booked a Western Caribbean on Carnival. I'm so excited because we're getting balcony cabins, something we could not afford on Disney. the balcony cabins have a removeable divider between them, so we'll have one very large balcony.

And we're doing the western because as you all may or may not remember, our Turkey Day Cruise 05 ended up being so modified that none of the western ports were included! So, we'll give it another shot.

As of 4th of July....we'll be in Michigan celebrating at the lake with a weeklong family reunion.

hope all is well with all --
Kris
