. The 1st year I was seperated & my kids went to their 1st overnight holiday @ ex's house, I ate burger king & got snookered...slept like a baby. sure was glad to see them the next day.

I'm w/mac on the shopping, always running around @ the last minute thinking I've got to get one more thing for everyone. I haven't gotten anything for DH except his annual "girlie" calendar...total zip on ideas. Usually get him power tools, the garage is now full...help?

she is more intrested in playing with jacie right now than me they are playing tag...it is pretty cute to watch

i was bummed out on the announcement of the big project.
i had guessed it was another wapsadi game again and it is.

it didn't appeal to me before but i stil might put the app in.
i wasted a lot of time on the clues on the daily threads about it.
it was supposed to be on the podcast later today but somehow it was on early morning before 7 am. i found out then.

KS, I used to do that running around last minute buying this and that, but now with working, I can't do that, so actually I save myself money I've cut way back with all the holiday hoopla anyway...but you still have a youngin' at home, so you still get to have the fun!! We usually do dinner at SIL's, but I'm honestly thinking of doing something simple and staying home and just relaxing this year...not sure yet of what our plans will be. I would rather fix something nice on Christmas eve for us

waiting for carpets to dry so I can vaccum them up, shampoo'er broke, too busted to buy another...just area rugs over hardwood anyway, hope it works (my dogs are pigs!).

Need to take youngest to allergist today, ped. insists he get checked. Not sure what to expect but, I'm not signing off if they want to do that needle/allergn test (he'll never talk to me again). Supposed exercise induced asthma, guess they need to rule out any allergies. I've already pulled down all draperies & pulled up wall to wall years ago with middle son. He seems to have outgrown whatever.

mic - what're you making for thanksgiving? when's the family roll on in?

mac - i'm gonna sign up, still don't quite get it...story of my life.

Hey KS, hope all goes well with dr. visit for your son...allergies are a pain I'm sure, especially when you have to de-bug the whole house...hopefully it is something he can outgrow.

My family rolls in and I mean that literally... at 12:40 a.m. Saturday morning, or Friday night as I prefer to recognize the time...they leave at 6 AZ time, which is 8 EST, so we are gonna have 2 wired little guys...but I'm up for it....I miss them SOOOO much...they called last night and the baby was chattering 9 miles and hour and I was catching about every 4th word...LOL...I did manage to hear him say he is a bad boy He makes me proud, giving his dad a run for his money like daddy did to us!!

We will be having turkey, dressing, corn, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy and a MD tradition, sauerkraut (ick, none for me thanks) and whatever else I might think of. I'm not going crazy with a million things. We will deliver dinner to my in-laws, and although she doesn't feel up to preparing the whole meal, she may make some of the "extras" to share.
