pam - i'm played out, think I'll chuck the house & go Xmas shopping instead. I'm feeling irresponsible today

I need to pull up all the china and things that are still packed from the move. I probably should have done that before to see if anything was broken. I should have enough place settings though (I hope)

Would you like to do my shopping too. I only have about 6 more people to buy for, but I really dont feel like doing it.

bob--how was your weekend? did you have a good night away from the kids?

Pretty good. The benefit was alright, but pretty crowded. The table they stuck us at was crammed in the middle of a couple exhibits (it was at a science center). There was way too much disposable income in that building. They had a live auction at the end of the night and people were bidding 7 or 8 thousand dollars on stuff.

For my 2nd trip out Xmas shopping, went to an outlet and got middle DS 7 dress shirts (aeoropostle, hilfinger, AE & nautica) all for less than 30 bucks-woo-hoo! Bought 2 new throw rugs too to cover up my yucky carpet.

Got my china out yesterday, have to polish the silver ware...oh, how I do hate that job. Wonder if anyone would notice if we just used the everyday stuff? We use plastic disposable cups...good stuff got broke too many times.

we always use the "fine china" aka paper products when we go our family things....ofcourse there is over 60 people there. Although we do use the actual silverware and not plastic.

glad you go some good deals for your ds! I am going in a few weeks to finish up my x-mas shopping!

i haven't even gone to the grocery store and bought a turkey or anything to do next thursday with yet.


silver........what a joke here at our place. i have nothing in that line.
just think of all the time i save not having to polish any of that......


i have 9 forks, spoons and 6 butter knives. and i thought that was enough for a meal for the fam.
i need to shop more.


christmas, haven't even thought of shopping yet.
i figure i will get it done on the 23rd like i usually do.
but, for our secret santa, i will do that this weekend.



we don't have any family around except who lives within our four walls so i have never needed the set up of the fine things.

we have been known to use paper plates on occassion.

after all, on Christmas i don't cook and we eat take out from burger king twice that day.

school was great today.
all the students were so nice, for once....

change of plans here for tonight....dave is taking the boys to the husker basketball game with one of our friends. I was suppose to have my sorority meeting tonight but i called them and told them i won't be coming...didn't give a reason...just said i won't make it truth be told....i just don't feel like going tonight

so....looks like i will be hanging out on the net tonight if anyone wants to chat!

I'm wicked good at Memory, but I'm terrible at Chutes and Ladders. I get all confused as to which way Im suppose to be moving.
