Oh I remember being in Detention soo many times for the 3 inch above your knee rule. :rotfl2:

Did your teachers measure them? Ours did. We had a few teachers that would wip out their rulers on some girls (I wasn't one of them :p ). No one ever got detention for it though.

when I was in school they passed a rule that you could wear shorts to school but they had to be as long as your middle finger could touch down on your legs......i always felt sorry for them people with long arms! :confused3 Year after year they kept getting shorter and shorter though!

My teachers use to measure and say that the rule was 3 inches above the knee not 3 inches below the waist. :confused3

I never liked my legs enough to do that :p. I was sort of "frump girl", even when I was dressed just like everyone else :confused3 .

The phrase Junction...Petticoat Junction was part of the beginning of the show and part of its theme song......ok, ya gotta have seen/heard it to get it :goodvibes

Sybil was a movie with Sally Field playing a person with multiple personalties :goodvibes

Now there is our educational post of the day...who says testers are not full of knowledge...and very willing to share that knowledge.....

Hey, I knew what all the references were talking about -- I wasn't necessarily alive when most of the shows/movies first came out, but I still know about them. :rolleyes1
