Well it was worth getting up before the crack of dawn today. We won our game. The boys are really good. We had 2 touchdowns and they had one.

Now I have the pleasure of doing Michaels laundry while he is home this weekend then I have Bunco tonight  I hope I win I need the money :p

Good news about the football game. I bet that was fun to watch.

Sorry about the laundry, that is what most college kids bring home for their parents.

Hope you win at bunco.

Mic and KS - have fun shopping.

Mic - good luck with getting your heair done. I always feel better when I have highlights put in.

Mac - I'm sorry you have to clean. But when you are in Disney and Universal, it will all be worth it.

I woke up still crying this morning. I went to the store and got a phone call on the way there..needless to say, I never made it in the store. Too many tears.

I know it will get better..slowly.

Northwest Airlines is having a great sale to the Philippines. I'm trying to convince Lee to take it.

ocm - hang in there girlfriend.:goodvibes

mac - lock the door & make DS work LOL. I recall similar issues a few years ago in my family, finally laid down the law & stuck to rule that they had to work to pay for their own car insurance & gas.

mic - got 2 pounds of fudge & 2 bags of orange slices BOGO, 2 Simpson's themed board games (jeopardy & life) for youngest DS BOGO 1/2 off (1st Xmas presents woohoo!), large t-fal frying pan, stainless steel toaster, russell t-shirt for DH & got change from a $50:teeth: I luv Boscov's, hope the sales keep on coming.

Stuffed an ornamental weeping cherry tree into my SRV, waiting for DH to come home from work & drag it out...spilled dirt everywhere in my efforts - eeeek.

deena - yeech - laundry, bunco sounds way more fun!

I'm home and the stuff is all in here too...now to cut up fruit and divide meat up for freezing.......blech.......Deena, I'll do Michael's laundry if you do my grocery stuff... :thumbsup2

Momma, I'm so sad for you and with you....can't you change your mind? Maybe you could handle keeping him afterall. But if you go through with it, remember you have to grieve over his going away, so it's ok to cry and feel bad about it. It is a pain that won't go away instantly either, so give it time........

Guess I'll go finish up this mess so I can do nothing this evening...mac, are you cleaning yet? Yuck on that stuff...KS, get that tree planted and clean up that mess you made...if Tony see's that, he'll be hollaring at ALL of us to tidy up :goodvibes

Deena, win big at Bunco and come share. Were you excited to see Michael? Ah, that's neat he came home and brought laundry, just so you still feel like he is at home :teeth:

ocm and sweets........ :grouphug: i hope the tears go away real soon.
and i hope you will be fine. i really do..... :grouphug:

keisha, spilling dirt,eh.......can't take you anywhere nice huh....

mic.......so, what are you cooking me for dinner tonight. since i didn't get a bd dinner last week, thought it would happen tonight. it's not in the plans again. i'm now planning on taking myself out to eat at golden corral for monday lunch.
who wants to come along? my treat.

oh and mic, i haven't started cleaning yet.
no get up and go......

but, i checkd united to see if rates came down and found out my flight was cancelled.

i could not find it on the listings. i did see some flights in the time frame within one hour of mine, but flight numbers for me weren't there.

i called united.
they said they cancelled my flights and put me on other ones.
so, now i leave earlier and come back later.
all still in the same range pretty much.
and i am very happy with the new schedule.

i need to take the ironing board down, didn't need to use that trick today.

Just buy it then drive him to the airport, then drive off real fast so he cant catch the car ;)

A drive-by drop off............ :rotfl2: :lmao: good idea Deena...we should have you patent it and we could make a mint, getting rid of hubbies when they need to be shipped off someplace...... :rotfl:

Mac, hope you enjoyed dinner, we had hamburgers on the grill, homemade mac n cheese, & chips..........ds had the lassy over, so we decided to eat here at the house together. Nothing fancy, but it was good...I cleaned up, cut up cantalope, capped strawberries and rinsed grapes.....now all I have is a watermelon to cut..hoping dh will do it tomorrow morning.

I'm tired now...too much running around today and it's still stinkin' hot....oh, I gave the pooch a bath also, he was stinky........got him some Pina Colada scented shampoo... :lovestruc

mic - pina colada poochie:teeth:

My arm's getting tired from :stir: on the other threads, time to lay low.

DH & I just wolfed down a dozen of chicken wings, off to make a pitcher of frozen margarittas (again:) ) & take a dip in the pool...this all alone thing has some advantages;) .

Dave just reminded me that we've got a pic-i-nic (as Yogi used to say) @ his sisters tomorrow (or as the printed 3-D invite said.. The Family BBQ Extravaganza). They're a bunch of stiffs, sit around & silently stare @ eachother; might as well attend w/a hangover just to occupy myself.:dance3:

just coming back to tuck you all into bed.

i have to sit up tonight but might come back here to see who has been around.

i do plan to do the laundry tomorrow........

Ok..for the record. If Sammie ever calls any of you, you'll know its her by asking "Sammie do you love me?"

Don't be offended by the answer, she says that to everyone

:rotfl2: Nahhhhhooo :lmao:

I took Sammie with me to church this morning. It wasnt bad at all. She fell asleep on me and then she stayed quiet pretty much the entire time.

The older kids went with Lee to meet up with his mom in NC. They left about 6am this morning.

So by 10am, I had done all the grocery shopping, went to church, did a load of laundry and fed Sammie breakfast.

Not bad for a Sunday, just not a day of rest around here.

Afternoon....

seems it is NOT a day of rest for most of us...I've also been busy, running vacuum, mopping floor, changing beds, putting laundry away and very soon fixing some dinner.........blech.........I need to live in a castle with royal servants :thumbsup2

Not much else happening, very quiet around here...ds burning off nervous energy about classes starting tomorrow, he has been picking up, helped me run the vacuum in a couple rooms and now reading some of his books for his class tomorrow........it has been an overcast day, we had rain, lightening last night and it is wicked humid

Speaking of wicked, that was a term that I used in high school...probably every other word out of my mouth was that...must be that New England thing... :goodvibes
