I survived family picnic in-laws, out-laws, youngest DS came back home in 1 piece from camping excursion...it's turning out to be a great start to the week.

Feel bad for the folks @ WDW this week Jeb just declared a state of emergency...glad muffy missed the storm. Hope mac & I don't run into one either...and deena too, is end of Oct. still storm weather?

Rainy here too and still humid......will drop in later...have a good start to the day...first day of school in our area, so will be lots more on the road today, buses etc.

As of this morning they are saying it will make land fall early Tuesday morning in South Florida and come right up the middle of the state. We should get hit some time on Wednesday morning. There will be an 8 a.m update in a few minutes....

Morning all

Busy weekend for us -- start of soccer season (Cam scored 3 goals ) and a birthday party Saturday, but first I had to head to our rec center reeeeeeelllly early to sign up the boys for swimming lessons. I got there 30 minutes before they opened the doors for registration and there was at least 20-25 people in front of me.

Sunday was a lazy day -- church and brunch, like usual, but it ended up being a rainy day, so we ended up indoors most of the rest of the day. Nicole and her mom did find some stuff for the basement, though, including bar stools.

ocm, the thought behind calling pam early was to wake her up.
i was going to disguise my voice like tony's and let him take the fall for it.
only a friend would help out that way don't you think.........



i'm not sleeping much.
i have to get out of this routine and lose the bags under the eyes.

morning to all, especially the returning travelers can't wait to hear the details.

@ picnic yesterday I got to sit thru about a ga-zillion pics of dollywood, some religious shrine & the great smokey mts. Everyone was fascinated w/the bust of Jesus' head where the eyes seemed to follow you no matter what angle the pic was taken from (guess folks come from far & wide to marvel)...it reminded me of the ones in the haunted mansion...think I've gone to the dark side.LOL.

DH dragging me off this am to start walking program (again).

ocm - youngest returned full of bug bites & wet sleeping bag/clothes...stinky-pooh. Shipped my baby off to 8th grade this am...I remember 1st day of kidnergarten like it was yesterday.

The travelers have been missed, glad they are back safe and sound.

Tony, hoping no hurricane issues for you...Florida doesn't need any more of that stuff...

The sun is now out here, hot and humid....supposedly we are getting rain tonight and things are going to cool down to the 80's...I'm so ready for it to be cooler.

I did not see a single school bus this morning on my way in...I usually see the elementary buses, but not a one...strange.......guess I was early, they were late or vice versa......

Yeah for Cam, the weekend soccer king!! Way to go, that is awesome.

You know, everyday, Nico says, "Mom..it's Mr Ed's Tshirt, you forgot to mail it again." I am doing that I swear. It's sitting in his room on his dresser waiting for me to mail it.
