I went to bed at 11, with a pending headache that I wanted to "sleep" off rather than take Excedrin, knowing that those things would make me wide eyed and bushy tailed, but woke at 1 a.m. with a doozy, so got up, took my dope and that was it until almost 5 a.m. before going back to sleep. BUT, I finished my book, played here for a few minutes and got a lot of thinking done laying in bed..........

So YES, I'm just getting up..........now I will feel crappy all day...for having my day and night all mixed up.....

I was up last night too. From 2am to around 4:40 am. Our electricity went out. I cant sleep with no a/c or air blowing on me.
Mac my rate now is the $224--APH rate. I couldnt get $209 unless I booked 3 nights. We are only staying 2--if we end up staying there. I admit Im spoiled by my rates in the past: $129 RPR (2002), $160 HRH deluxe room (ent rate) 2003 and $209 club level RPR (APH) 2004.

That sucks, no power....been there done that in warm weather and extremely cold weather...it ain't no picnic....

Wow, those room rates have soared haven't they....

i hear ya deena, i have ALWAYS paid the ent rate of $125 per night + tax until this year.......

having the gold loews card, i would book the cheapest room and get the free upgrade. this year i do get the 2 Q deluxe which goes for 339/night at my 224 rate but the old rate is so much sweeter.

even when i did the club, i paid the 125 basic rate. long story behind that.

i hear that lou is now gone from gm at hrh and carlton took his place.
don't know how that gm will be with guests. guess i will find out.

Thanks mac my friend........ my headache pretty much went bye-bye after the dope I took, it takes about an hour to settle down....but then that is why I was up half the night, Excedrin is the only thing that helps my headaches....which has caffeine, so I was "high" for most of the night...

I'm doing some dreaded laundry and puttering around the house, picking up messes ....sometimes for me that just means moving messes from one spot to another

I go for finger printing etc. for my job tomorrow....I'm starting the countdown now to the first day of work........I'm already obsessing about how I will get stuff done when I start..........but hey, I always budgeted my time much better when I WAS working than since I've been off.....so I'm figuring I'll accomplish a lot more at home once I start work...

OCM is going home tomorrow and no I havent talked to her anymore. I figured they would be busy with family.
mac I'd wouldnt mind paying the $224 for the deluxe room. I do have a Lowes membership but with only 1 stay a year @ a couple of days I dont think that rates me much of an upgrade, lol.

my gold expires oct 4.
that's one year since last using the gold loews.

i don't check in to 0ct 7 and they took it .
don't know if it is an accident or what but i wasn't going to argue with them over it.

just don't call on the loews number. call the hrh direct or universal toll free number if you want to go for that.

LOL!! I dont think she is naked, but she sure isn't skinny. If I can find a pic of me in my dress, I'll email to you Mac. But Lee only took 4 pics at the wedding because the card was full. I have a great one of Julie eating cake.

Right now, I am running to get Lee clothes..he under packed.

Mac be careful on the trek to the airport...............do you know that at BWI now, they have what they call a "cell phone" lot, you can pull in, and wait for someone you are to pick up to call you so they can then just swing through the arrivals lanes without paying for parking...........pretty cool if you know you are going to be delayed and don't want family coming til the last minute.............I will let dh do that when he picks me up at the airport in Sept...if he wants, and also he can just drop me off at the door...no sense in his parking when I can take care of myself
