test Part 2

hi guys, been a long week. We held our cook off yesterday so the last three days have been hecktic. 2 older gentlemen and i started fridayu at 8 am and coked 160 lbs of chicken, then yesterday we recooked it and made and served about 100 chicken plate lunches. I was asked to do the thank you reading for our local firedept and got to argue with the mayor over the priviledge then he had the nerve to tell the crowed we argued over who got to read it. (he went ahead and saluted them as well) When i got on staage and got started telling why it was important to me to thank the fire dept and emts personally, i was almost crying. We had 5 entries into the cook off and the team i sponsoredd ( fire dept) ended up taking 1st place in chicken and second ribs, they missed grand champion ( and the grill) by 54 points. the Lady that won thr grill is the mother of our group..lol. she has 2 daughters in the organizationb, her hubbys a founding member ( non active now) her sil, shes my dw 's adopted mom, and takes care of all of us. was very proud to see some one who gives so much of herself win. Her ribs got fought over,,lol,, that good.

Wow Froggy - I am glad she won too. I bet it was nice for you to be able to publicly thank the people that helped you so much. I would have been crying with you.

Isn't it fun to argue with politicains.

Hi all and afternoon....

Froggy, I knew you were involved in your cookoff this weekend, sounds like you stayed busy and then some....but when things are done for good causes...it is worth it all....I'm glad you got to say what you wanted to say to those that helped you...I'm sure that is important to you...and its ok to cry....I do it all the time!!!

Onecool, sounds like you had fun at the football game, nice day for it too this morning...and now those Redskins...I don't like football, but Mr. is big Redskins fan, so he is watching them too...I will keep notes for the football pool though..

Work was ok, a usual Sunday....LOL...now I'm just going to relax the rest of the evening...

That sounds like a nice evening. I am going to do that too. Just relax. I dont even want to talk about the football pool. I cant get over that I misread the rules.

How did you misread the rules on the pool? I didn't even get it all, I told you football is not my thing... ...so I let the man I live with help me pick...well, I could have guessed that good myself...LOL...he didn't do bad, it is that point spread thing that is tricky!

I fell asleep for a bit and had a headache...I've taken my only relief helper, execedrin, so I'll be up all night now....

I'm home from my shopping I didnt buy anything for me but the kids got some stuff and my DW got us a new comforter for the bed...I guess the other 5 arent cutting it any more

I didnt want ot get any clothes my current clothes are getting to big and if I keep losing I dont want to have to keep buying new clothes, I do need new boots though I should have bought those

I didnt know we were picking against the spread. I thought we were just pick the team that were going to win. Going back..it is said quite a few times.. I just am a pregnant blonde.

The thing is, int he end it is mostly educated guesses, but still guesses. You really never know until they play.

Ed - I love that smiley No 5 comforters is not enough.

I like your new boots and I agree about the clothes. More motivation for you.

I like those boots, you should have sprung for those, they look serviceable...

I agree about buying clothes while losing...I did buy some stuff on sale, some shorts...I had too, everything I had was way too big...I gave them away too...I don't intend to re-grow into them...LOL... and I actually got my shorts just a tad snug, so if I lose the other few pounds I'd like, they still will be ok. I did buy one dress that was drastically cheap that is very snug, with the hopes I will fit in when next season comes around...I will need winter pants and stuff though...and my work pants...I'm sticking with those, but even Mr. said, "wow, those things are really baggy girl"....<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_1_108.gif' alt='Dieting' border=0></a> I'm glad he is encouraging me...to buy new clothes anyway!!!! LOL...

I went over and read the messages on the pool board, I see where you got mixed up...you are right, it is mostly guessing with those spreads thrown in...but still fun!!! At least we are in the middle of the pack and not in last place

Good morning - I am sorry you couldnt sleep last night. I was a moron..I should have gotten on..we could have talked. I got off last night around - I dunno the time. But I realized the trash pick up for big items was this morning. So, I thought "Hey, I better get the couch out there tonight.


I am so sore today..I didnt even get my workout in. LOL! I will never learn

I have nothing planned for today and now I am really glad. Just relax (as much as you can with little people).

insomnia is a way of life for me. have suffered with it for years.
ended up falling asleep around 2:30 and 5:30 came might quick this morning.

one reason i drink so much coffee in the morning. now on cup 8.......


i have to go to the sprint store today and see what is wrong with my cell.
i have a flip top and it is wobbly. this is the third phone i have had.
the manager at the store i go to is not pleasant.........perfect for me, i'm crabby today..............
