test Part 10

Bob I wasnt too sure about the Wii Play (although I was looking for it just to get the extra remote as well.) I heard it wasn't as good as the Wii Sports, but Im glad to know its good for their age. I guess I will have to get Mario Galaxy and Lego Wars. Sounds like those are good.

We all love bowling, tennis and I like playing Lee in baseball. But we only have the backyard football and Julie just got the princess game.

Wii Play is ok -- we also just got it for the extra controller. There are a couple good mini-games that make it worth the $10 or so that you pay (since the controller by itself is $40 anyways). :)

How is Backyard Football? I saw that today and thought about getting it, but I hadn't heard much about it.

Hey Mac I'm finally here to take my test. Man has this thing been going on a long time!

hey homie, so glad you came for the test....

did you bring your #2 pencils with?

if you don't come back here within 24 hours, i will have to go and hunt you down like a rabid dog..........so come back and play again

Evening friends and new friend Lori :flower3:

KS, I love me some red meat too;) I really, really have to behave myself though, I've just been so bad since around Thanksgiving, and its starting to show :scared1: I was good again today so far.......plus I'm paying the price for eating a lot of cashews and things with nuts in it, my diverticulitis is acting up and I've had some pain, and I think I'm narrowing it down to eating nuts........grrr..makes me mad, as I love cashews...but I really do think I can attribute this bout with the div. to the nutty stuff. I hope it soon passes, it is very uncomfortable. So glad you are heading to DL, you are gonna like it, just don't be expecting WDW and you'll love it. It is so wonderful in its own way and they are adding stuff to California Adventure all the time.

I know my gs's liked the Lego Star Wars I got them for Wii...and when we were out there, they played and liked the sports games that game with it, they had a lot of fun with grandpa on those:goodvibes

Momma, your new paint scheme sounds great! Glad you got it done and you like it, that is most important. Now that your work schedule is less, you'll get back into the gym, and you enjoy it, so it shouldn't be hard to get back in the swing of things. I'm anxious for my little bike to arrive, and see how long before it becomes a clothes hanger........:rotfl2: they had one of those glider exercise thingys on QVC that I really liked, but it was kinda bulky and I just didn't know where I would put it that I could use it easily...so I'll see how I do with the little rider I got.

Bob, good luck with getting back to work. I'm sure you will enjoy being back to doing your old job. I know you are also enjoying being home with the boys though, so I'm sure it is a double edged sword in some ways.

Pam, throw the kids out and get the treadmill, gosh, get your priorites straight;) :rotfl: Think of it this way though, no sitting kids = no money = not being able to grocery shop = no food = losing weight....now wasn't that easy?? :thumbsup2

bob: sounds like you are having a great holiday.

ed: same as bob......except you will have a warm up soon.

sweets: i know you like the color green

mic: have you received the exercise bike yet?

pam: don't be sick again. you already had your turn...

keisha: you stinker you. i will miss you on my october trip.
change your dates.........

Lori: well, have you found the answer yet?
just jump in and start talking on anything. but whatever you do, tell sweets who is also ocm/one cool momma, that she is skinny. i think she is the thinnest one of all of us here.

when i grow up, i want to look like sweets........:teacher:

mac, my little pedel-mobile shipped today, but I have no idea where it is coming from as I got it off of Amazon.com....it was cheaper overall then QVC, as this place charged no sales tax.....I'll track it once it shows up and it will tell me where it is starting its journey..

and everyone here needs to keep kicking my heiny to make sure I use it!!:goodvibes

We have our Wii linked to our inlaws. I want to get battlefront os my BIL and I can 2 player the game from our houses.

My bad Hi Loribell and Welcome. :)

Hey all :)

One other update -- it looks like I'll be heading back to my old company on a part-time basis. I just talked to an old boss of mine and she has a good flexible opportunity that should match up with my skills well. :)

you still get to be mr mom and do your job part time.
that is great!

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone.

Mac, have not had time to google the answer yet. Are you talking Garfield the President or the cat?

Oh and sweets/ocm you are skinny. Mac says so and I have seen pics of her so if she says so you must be.

That's alright. She can be a decent person at times too. Just not so great to deal with during the holidays.

Good morning my friends...another brisk one at 16 degrees, but supposed to be back up in the 50's by Monday.....:confused3

mac, those smilies are perfect, a good ole kick in the butt never hurts!!

Ok, off to see the wizard, oh wait, that isn't it, it's off to work I go..hi ho hi ho...and it is SILVER day folks, FRIDAY.........YAY....we haven't broke out the silver in some time, so everybody........put on the glitz

Have a good one

fine, tony if you're not going to quit yelling I'll wake up:rolleyes: It was hard to wake up this morning BUT it is friday so that made it a little better.

What does everyone have planned for their weekend?

We have a christmas and a birthday party on Sat. at the same time. Not sure how that is going to work quite yet, but we are thinking of splitting and I will go to my neice's bday and dave will go to his mom's side x-mas with the kids since some of them hasn't seen the kids in awhile. We also have Noah's first rec basketball game. Atleast those are all here in town...no travel for us until baseball starts:upsidedow

Have a good day everyone!!!

TGIF!!

Bob - Backyard Football is great, but I think Nico likes Madden better. We also only had one controller when he was playing Backyard football and Madden (PS2) he plays with Julie and Lee. So he may like it better now that we have two controllers. I need to get a Nunchuck thingy today so Lee and Julie can play too. When he gets home today, I will ask him which he likes better.

Ed - that is awesome that you are set up with the inlaws. And I am glad to know it does work. We had to put the Wii away when we were getting painted and it wont be set up until sometime late next week. So, I guess I will get the internet card for it then.

Lori - You will get to know that I am very hard on myself. You don't have to tell me I am thin. I have a set weight that I go off of to know when I have reached a decent weight. Right now, I am not there. I am starting back at the gym on Tuesday, so hopefully in about three months the scale and I will be friends again.

Mac - are you teaching this week or is your school district still on break?

Pam - it's Friday. What are your weekend plans?

Mic - I can't wait to hear how you like the new bike. It looks like a great machine.

Keisha - have you gotten back on the treadmill yet?

TVT - did it warm up there yet? it is going to be in the 50's this weekend and back to the 60s here next week. So you should be back in the 80s in no time. Spirit is having a sale right now for 32 cents each way. I am thinking about coming down, but I want to make sure the weather is 40 degrees and blustery so you can take my kids to the park and I can go shopping:lmao:

I am off to sub today. I am in the other 3yo class today..which if I had a choice I would pick my class anyday of the week and twice on Sunday. The kids today are a lot more immature. (That is the nice way to put it)

Hope you all have a great day.

tony's back in full force:thumbsup2

mac - i tried to get week pre Columbus Day, since i believe it's the one you usually hit? Bizarrely, the 1st 3 weeks of October were spoken for my DHs senior fellow employees. Couldn't figure it out since we were able to easily grab the week after Columbus Day 2 years ago. I was educated - "new" small game "bow & arrow?" hunting season in PA-tucky:rolleyes1 We just got the last full week (beginning the 19th) by the skin of the deer's hide:laughing:

ed - we haven't attempted the mi thing yet, is it hard? Do have the wi hooked up to internet network.

ocm - tree still standing, treadmill still folded...keep me on track, i need motivation. Sounds like you are in a major decorating re-do!

pam - feeling better? I sniffed around & found a convention rate (almost 1/2 off) or we sure wouldn't be staying @ DL hotel. Now I'm a card-carrying member of the ALA (american library association); actually legit since i've volunteered @ local library for years & low membership fee & conference registration:woohoo:

bob - no more bon-bons & soaps for you - jk; know you've been proactive with the kids - sure you all have benefited from it. Good luck

lori - i didn't think of the pres, to me garfield conjurs up thoughts of lasagne & odie.

Gant - out getting the oil changed?:wave2: since you're animae - thought you'd appreciate that one of my gifts from DH this Xmas was vintage Godzilla DVDs (i always root for him to win)

Lori pay no attention to this chick.....she's drop-dead gorgeous and the sweetest thing you will ever meet.

Sorry chick...the window for my winter baby-sitting duties has closed. It runs just once a year and that day is gone! But you can come down and I'll go shopping with you. I know you need more thongs ! :lmao:
