I forgot about Gant's gift..Did you get it?

I have been fighting a terrible cold for a week or so. Poor TVT attempted to talk to me while I coughed and hacked my way through the conversations. Hopefully it ends in the next few days.

My mom is coming in tomorrow. Joey (my brother) was suppose to come with her, but Nico told him not to come. Joey could only stay for 1 day and Nico said told him to come when he could stay longer. So, he said he would make the decision tomorrow. I doubt he will come, plus I really dont have a place for him. I guess he could sleep on the couch if he does come, but I ran out of rooms.

I was busy today. I took the tree down and now there is NO sign of x-mas in the house. The lights are still up outside though. All my kids ended up leaving by noon today so it wasn't to bad.

Good morning friends...I'm off in about 1/2 hr. to have my test, down the throat again, its been the 8 weeks so the inflammation should be gone and he can see/do what he wants now. Hope to be home quickly as the test is at 10

Will put all our stuff away over the course of the weekend, with the tree down last on New Year's Day..it is usually the last thing to go away. I always gripe about putting it up, but then I think it's sad to put it away, cause the memories go with it.

Not much else going on. We got some gift cards from family and a little money. DH and I bought the new TV back in Oct. so that was our gift to each other. We don't exchange anymore, maybe something small. We like to give to others, that is our favorite thing.

Ok, must throw some clothes on, will drop by later...enjoy your Thursday..and tomorrow is Friday.

mic - down the hatch jk, doesn't sound like ANY fun @ all, you are a trooper - good luck!

ocm - pitch a tent for the overflow guests , we've resorted to air mattresses & sleeping bags...course we don't stand on ceremony

mac - i asked DH when we could take down the tree, usually i'm one to keep it up as long as possible; this year since it's 1/2 eaten by bad dog & looking rather beat i'll be glad to be done with it.

feeling a little under the weather here today I think bob sent me what he had

tony--cool shoes....although the way it sounds if you wear them to disney you would fit right in. I think they are ugly BUT I have a pair to wear around the house(i refuse to wear them in public) because my foot is still bothering me.

mic--good luck today...hope the test come back fine.

mac--yep!!! took my tree down. I hate how much space it takes up...i feel overcrowded.

ocm--when do your guest arrive?

ks--the kids do that to my tree...that is one reason i took it down. atleast some of the kids are suppose to know better....if your dog is anything like my dog you can't blame them....it just comes naturally to them

ed--how was your christmas? you need to stop by more!!!

gant--did your package come yet? what are you all doing on your days off?

Hi all.....got back home around 11:30ish....my throat is more sore this time around and I lay back down and fell asleep after getting home. Still sore, and will probably last a day or so. He went 'down the hatch' took a biopsy and also stretched my esophagus where it was constricted...ick...took longer for prepping and 'waking up' then the whole procedure. The anesthetist told me I was a very boring patient, just like the last time I was in, fell right asleep, woke up fine and nothing in between. That is one time when it's good to be boring. I love how he says 'enjoy your nap now' and that is about it for me. I'm to stay on my medicine for 6 more weeks then take it as necessary. I'm done with doctor's for at least 6 months.

Doing a little laundry in between snoozing, so today will be semi productive...yuck, in to work tomorrow, what a crazy week.

Pam, feel better...mac, how did your dad make out? Gosh, who ran to Burger King on Christmas day if you were away

NY's Eve I think will be spent here at the house and the kids might come over and we'll play cards til we all get sleepy...we are a boring bunch.
