test Part 10

Happy Christmas Eve Everyone

Mic - those flowers are big!

Pam - if snowfalkes were kisses no one would be kissing in GA. It hasn't snowed here in forever. I think that is so cute and I am very glad it's your son and not mine.:lmao:

KS - are you all set for Christmas?

Ed - did you find a hot contractor yet?

Gant - I haven't made any purchases yet. I am waiting for the good sales to come out. Hopefully soon as I deperately need some new jeans and a lot of cute tops.

Have any of the gals here used Fredricks of Hollywood bras? (If the guys have used them, I don't want to know:rotfl: ) There bras on on sale (2 for $20) and I think it's a great deal if they are good bras. Let me know..if you dont want to post it, just PM me. Thanks.

We are heading out to Maggianos for dinner tonight, then coming back to wrap with Santa Claus wrapping paper. The rest is wrapped and done, jsut the stocking stuffers and the Santa gifts need wrapping.

Good morning and merry Christmas Eve!

Momma, you sound like you have a full day planned, have fun and get those things wrapped...Santa is gonna be busy it seems ;)

Never bought from Frederick's so can't help you out on that one...do they have a liberal return policy? that might be the way to go, if you can return them...a pain I know, but at least you can try their product and see if you like it

Off to run my errands real quick, then back to bake a pumpkin pie and get my roast ready to throw in the oven...

:santa:

Morning all!

Ocm--sounds like a good plan tonight! I have all my presents wrapped..well all but 3 of them. I need to wait until I have boxes:confused3 I don't need them until a week after x-mas and jan. 5th so I'm good.

gant--wow, you get a long break! Hope you get some relaxing done.

mic--sounds like you had a good evening out.

bob--how did your dinner party go?

mac--hope everything is okay with your dad.

ed--what are your holiday plans? do you have a lot of running?

ks--that is a cool pic. I bet it was relaxing sippin' your drink and hangin' out with a sunset like that.

We are taking off around 2pm today to go to my mom and dad's.Then tomorrow we have to go to my aunt's for dinner and dave's mom's for supper. Then back to work on the 26th (what was I thinking saying I would work?!?!?:confused3 )

Hope everyone has a great christmas eve!!!!!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone. Going to pick up rolls and rye bread for tomorrows festivities. Also going to make a kielbasi appetizer for the affair. Relax the rest of the day until I don my red suit and head out to the neighborhood houses for some gift giving.

It's a yearly tradition for me. I only hope I can continue to fool my now 9 year old. He just said to me that he wished that I could be home for Christmas Eve (I tell him I have a DJ show to do each year) He said that we haven't been a whole family for quite some time now. I told him that I was always there in spirit. I also reminded him that if I caught mommy kissing santa claus we might have some words.:santa:

Hope everyone has a great day.

No comment on the bra thing OCM....:lmao: However, I WILL comment on you and your wrapping. Last year I was there with her for Christmas and I had brought a bunch of little Disney candy and cookies and things for the kids for stocking stuffers. We are sitting in the middle of her bedroom floor wrapping with the santa paper when she says grab the stocking stuffers. I THOUGHT she wanted me to put everything in the kids stockings.....NOOOOOOO....she said
" I wrap all the stocking stuffers" :scared1: I said everything? Even the pencils? Yep...she meant everything....:lmao: Best Christmas Eve I have had in a lot of years...:thumbsup2 We wrapped and laughed at each other for hours.......Let's do it again when I come up in Feb. Tell the kids it's a NEW santa taking over and it's a PRACTICE RUn for the new guy so they get more stuff !!!!

Merry Christmas all from COLD COLD Memphis....

OCMLYMI

Merry Christmas everyone and Thank you for the cards.

Still sore from shoveling the snow off my roof, had to get some of the weight off before it rained and really got heavy.

Tonight I'm going to Mass and then over to my sisters house for a Christmas eve party.

You haven't been getting many inches in GA ???

No contractors yet we've been busy with the holidays.

I'm heading down on Christmas day to my inlaws and then over to my moms briefly to pick up gifts and say hi ( we were over her house on saturday)

Got my Cruise all booked for next Nov. can't wait for that, no WDW this year taking a year off *gasp* someone will have to go by and makesure my pathstone is looking good.

It rained the other night, but we have actaully been in a serious drought with all sorts of crazy water restrictions. But no snow here for a long time. As for the other inches..we have completely different sleeping quarters.

As far as wrapping stocking stuffers, I just finished wrapping two candy bars for Lee's stocking. I do wrap everything..pencils, socks, shampoos..anything that goes into the stockings gets wrapped. It's part of the huge fun of Christmas to watch everything get opened. It's no fun if you don't wrap it all. Besides, it kept you busy that New Years Eve.

You are welcome to come back next New Years Eve for all the wrapping festivities. We are going to DC for Christmas, so we are going to have to ask Santa to come New Years Eve again. I think we are going to leave here the 22nd or the 23rd and we will be back by the 29th at the latest. Hopefully sooner than that. I just got the school schedule for next year and the kids are off until the 5th of Jan:banana:

Mic - I hope you enjoy your Raost tonight. Sounds like a very relaxing evening.

Pam - Have a great time at your mom and dads. Im sure yoru kids will get a ton of presents there. I know my kids are so spoiled with gifts this time of year

Gant - that sounds like a very special tradition. I have always loved a guy in uniform:love: that hands out gifts. Very very sweet. I hope Asher still believes too. I know Nico is just starting to question Santa.

Ed - have a great time at your SILs and Mass. Are you going to Midnight mass? I could never stay awake through that one as a kid and as an adult. I would try and try..but by communion, someone was always trying to wake me up. A cruise:cool1: :cool1: Did you book it for all of us?

I have a pretty easy day today. We will leave here around 3:45 to have dinner then back to wrap. It's not bad, the kids only get 3 gifts from Santa and 3 regular gifts. One from mom, one from each of their siblings. So not too much to wrap.

Hi everyone, so glad everyone is checking in and sharing traditions...so wonderful to have a couple days of real family gatherings and fun...

Oh, can't wait for our cruise in November...Ed, you did book separate cabins for all of us right???:thumbsup2 Sounds like fun and believe it or not, the time will roll around very quickly.

Gant, kids get to that age where they want to believe but yet they don't...mine never did admit to not believing, and to this day, we don't speak of it, we always say that as long as Santa lives in your heart and memory, there is a Santa, just our silly family thing

Pam, have fun with all the in-laws, out-laws and visiting, you will be busy. Yep, back to work for me on Wednesday also. We are supposed to move all our files for the end of the year, so it should be a busy day. Lots of shuffling papers and writing new manilla folders and putting stuff in boxes...:headache: but it must be done to start the new year.

My roast is roasting, made some macaroni and cheese, and just waiting for the kids to show up. Son's girlfriend had to work til noon, she works in a doctor's office...plus my doctor's office called to remind me of my scope on Thursday......nope, haven't forgotten

Tony, glad you are with your family and snuggle up by the fireplace and thrown on an extra sweatshirt, you have acquired that thin Florida blood ;)

I never wrapped stocking stuffers, but it seems like a nice touch and I bet your kids are used to it and if you stopped they wouldn't like it much...makes for more fun I'm sure

ed--i'll be there in may and would happy to see that your stone is still lookin' good:thumbsup2

sounds like everyone is starting to get ready for family.

Trent doesn't believe but knows that if he tells anyone that santa will NOT bring him anymore gifts. Noah, as far as I know, still thinks there is a santa. He didn't want to go and visit him this year though. He said he would write him a letter though. Aubrey told me that santa came into her room last night, gave her a hug, and told her that she was a good little girl, and that she had to clean her room.:upsidedow

We are almost out of here. I just have to wait for my kids to leave. Have a good night everyone!!

Quick check in to wish all a very merry Christmas:banana:

Stay save, have fun & remember the reason for the season:goodvibes

pam - , it starts; buckle up;) since when did girls use "lines":rotfl:

off to the shindig - whoppee NOT

We had a nice family dinner then watched some Christmas movies on TCM...the kids just left, so I'm going to just veg the rest of the evening....I agree about remembering what the reason for the season is...

Bless all my friends here....love you all:santa:

From a Dude in a bright red suit, A merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Hope your dreams are full of sugar plumbs and Cherries this Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

I want it to be known that I am SO happy I was not in DC this year. Aside from my mother entertaining 25-30 people for the past 3 ngihts, last night her party turned into a heated debate all night about immigration laws. As much as I love my family, that is not my idea of a good time in the least.

Meanwhile I have had the most relaxed Christmas I have had in, well forever. The girls woke up last, about 7:30am and by 9am we were done opening the gifts. The girls got into their costumes right away and I washed Nico's redskin bedding so he could put it on his bed tonight. Then, all of us played the Wii together almost all day (except Sam who played with Julie and I when it wasn't out turn and watched her princess movie twice) We went to Fridays for dinner came back and now I am about to put the kids to bed.

I will go up next year for Christmas, but I have to mark this as one of the best Christmas's to date. I even got a gift. I have been wanting a white winter dress coat forever. I didn't have any coat, but I was never going to spend the money. Lee found one on clearence and got it for me. It was very sweet and something I have been needing for a long time.:thumbsup2

Meanwhile..I ordered an adult Disney bathrobe for him. Seriously, he has had the same bathrobe for all the 15 years I have been with him..it's down to threads. He opened it up and said, "Oh my gosh, just what I wanted an XL Womans bathrobe"!:lmao: Sure enough, it says laidies on the tag. I
ll get him a redskins bathrobe to make up for it. Meanwhile if anyone knows a woman that needs a bathrobe, let me know.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Momma, so glad you had a wonderful day. Sounds like a perfect Christmas day for you and the family. So glad the kids had fun and enjoyed their presents. That is too funny about the robe... Your coat sounds gorgeous, and so glad it was something you really wanted!!

Our day was nice, the kids came over around 8:30, we opened presents, had breakfast and then hung out in front of the TV. Some friends stopped by, then we played Uno Attack for awhile and it was time to go out for dinner with family. Very nice evening. Off to bed now as I work tomorrow....ick..

Can't believe it is over for another year....I did do a little online shopping at Yankee Candle this evening, a lot of B1 G1 free deals, got a few things to put back for next year.

evening all!

We had a busy but good day! The kids vowed this was the best christmas yet(as they do every year;) )
Then it was off to my aunts. My cousin made the "official" announcement that he has retired from the military and he will be moving back here by summer.
Next, it was off to dave's parents house.

My kids are beat and refuse to go to bed:confused3

Ocm--i'm glad you had a great day. That is tooo funny about the bathrobe:rotfl2:

Mic--sounds like you had a nice relaxing day too. I know what you mean by off to work tomorrow. One of my parents called and said her little guy is sick so he won't be here tomorrow so my count is 2-3 now.

ed--hope you had a good christmas too!

I think I am going to head off to bed...have a good night everyone.

Good morning and what can I say....it's all over....that is good and yet it's sad, another year gone....but seems like we all had lots to be thankful for and enjoyed our holiday

Pam, awesome news about your cousin

Well, I'm off to work.......not by choice by circumstance, so will see you later this evening.....

Enjoy the day!
