DS reported than BB coach announced practice every day over the holiday break, including Saturdays. Out of goodness in heart, Xmas & New Years are excluded. Practices now are close to 3 hours/night - over the top imo.

fyi, did you know that many schools of higher learning have coaching sessions to help people pass psych/personality exams in order to get clearances? always answer in the format of "WWJD"; leaving out all thoughts of smiting anyone though

Nico just told me it was too hot in here. I keep it at 72 in the winter and I don't turn the air on in the summer, so my house is almost always warmer. It's better for those of us that like to wear less clothing.

figured out what to do for gifts this year.
if i get home on christmas eve night, i can do shopping for gift cards.
i do have 2 i got at the grocery store today

once i put the boys and cats stockings up, i'll put an IOU in it to make up for later.

i think that should work.

my parents do not have a computer so i will not be able to know what is going on in the "Real World".........

i'll have to read up when i get back and see what everyone received.
i'll post mine when i return.........might be an empty basket.....

i'll check back in once i get my tree up as i will be leaving soon after that for st louis.

Momma, we didn't take the Myers Briggs or whatever, it is a DISC assessment...I scored high and I'm an "I"...lol...we had a workshop today to explain all the crap in the report, the charts, graphs etc....I really wanted to take a nap through most of the thing, but some of it was interesting.

Mac, didn't know about your Dad, I hope all goes well and he is up and around real soon. So sorry this has happened right at the holiday. My Mom is going to be able to go home on 12/27 and she is so excited, she keeps telling me every evening she just wants to get home. She is doing quite well and walks her little legs off everyday trying to get that strength built up. Her friend is coming to take her out on Christmas day to another friends house for dinner, so that will be her first outing since all this happened. I think after that she will realize how taxing it is though not to be in the controlled environment of the rest home.

KS, don't ya love when you are sent to India to get tech help Dell is famous for that, in fact I'm always surprised when I get an English speaking rep...hope it gets all cleared up

Well, got my sauce in the crockpot for my meatballs, will add them before going to bed. Looks like we are going to have quite a spread tomorrow, everyone is bringing really good stuff.......and come January 2nd, it is back to dieting boot camp for me....I've eaten like a fool with all this stuff at work that we keep getting. I need to walk to see everyone here to work it off.

computer "got stuck" on the Disboard yesterday; no matter what i did; it wouldn't budge - came back up after reboots, etc.; only problem was I couldn't make good use of the time & post me & Dell, we're this close

everyone ready for Santa? not me, ma lost her wedding bands & is not a happy camper (don't ask, probably hid them somewhere & forget); ran around trying to replace them yesterday - who knew the price of gold is now @ record heights? think i'll hit WM today, she'll probably lose them again anyway; hate to spend big $ (glad i'm the safekeeper of her engagement ring after several sim episodes)

no cookies yet in my house ; doesn't look promising either

we keep our heat on 65, sometimes up it to 67 if i'm feeling nice; still winter heating bills are horrid; at times close to my mortgage payment. Just happy to have a place to rest my head. and electric mattress pads on all our beds to keep us toasty.

Chris's last day is today, Connor got out on Wed. Chris didn't have school yesterday because out "flurries" didn't stop all day and we got 9 inches of snow. We have over 2 ft of snow in my yard, I have one of those light up reindeer you put in the front yard... I can see the top of his antlers.

I got a GC to my absolute FAVORITE online shopping store. And I got perfume and body lotion from that same store

I am waiting until Jan when they have their spend 300 get 75 back so I can do a whole shopping spree. I know what you are thinking, just spend the 500 and get 150 back..and I would, but Lee might not be happy with me about that. I do need a few summer shirts a few winter shirts and two pair of Jeans. And they have two really cute thongs that are on sale, so if they are still onsale then, I will get those too.
