Ed--sounds like you are going to do alot of work to the house. If i lived closer i could help ya with the retaining wall....dave and I built our ourselves...it was ALOT of work but it was a good accomplishment.

mic--the voice is still a little scratchy but not as bad as yesterday. One of the little girls asked if i had a frog in my throat. I told her i did and another little girl asked me how it got there It was so cute.

mac--hope you get your tree up tomorrow.

ocm--NO, you can't tell yet!!!

ks--good idea about tony getting photoshopped...that is your job to figure out how it is done

bob--cooking x-mas dinner? What time should we all be there?

I am going to be in the kitchen most of the day today. I have got to get all these cookies baked.

Ed - that is a lot of rennovations. If you need help..ask Pam and Dave. I have no idea how to do any of that.

Mac - enjoy your coal shopping!!

I was up all night with my middle child having a major coughing spell. So, I need to go wake her up. Wish me luck with that. SHe is the best morning person when she wakes up on her own..but when woken up..not really all that sweet.

I have so much to do today it isn't even funny. I want to get it done today because tomorrow I will have so many kids...i'm like the old lady who lived in the shoe

bob--cooking x-mas dinner? What time should we all be there?

Not yet -- first I have to get through Sat. night's party. Right now, we're up to 34 people (18 adults, 16 kids). I made 5 appetiters yesterday and one batch of cookies (I don't do much baking ). The party starts at 6 -- come on over. Heck, I wouldn't notice a few more people.

But we are hosting Christmas Eve dinner (beef tenderloin ) -- I think we're going to a friends' house on Christmas Day. We're going to cook a turkey, that morning and bring it along, though, so we don't totally get out of cooking.

Cam's home today sick. He woke up with a slight fever, so we played it safe and kept him home. He seems fine right now after some Motrin, just sitting on the couch sipping Gatorade and watching High School Musical 2.

Geez, here I is.......I tried yet again to pop on this morning and the darn Dis will not load for me....guess I should try loading it before I get dressed and then by the time I'm done, maybe it will be loaded...

Momma, how funny you should mention Make A Wish...I asked to have my donation split in 2...1/2 to Make A Wish and 1/2 to the Salvation Army. I asked for local chapters of both to be gifted. It is an awesome idea and I'm thrilled by it. Some people picked St. Jude's which is also a good one. I felt that it would be nice if it was mixed up a bit, as 2 people picked St. Jude's...and I suddenly thought of MAW....in fact, I signed up to make a monthly contribution to MAW, it is such an awesome charity and it makes so many children have something special.

Not much else happening...still have some stuff to wrap, still have a little grocery shopping to do...Friday is our potluck lunch, so tomorrow evening I will be making my famous meatballs in the crockpot. I may bake a cake, as one of the guys birthday is Saturday, but not sure, see what mood I'm in.

I'm really looking forward to our long weekend, but I hate that Christmas Day will be the last day of our break.

Bob, you sound like you have a busy weekend planned...but you are wisely getting everything ready now....you are truly a man of vision...

Pam - I'm sorry to hear about your wrapping issues. I hate when I run out of paper. Hope you are able to find more of the same. That is always the worst, when the paper doesnt all match each other.

Mac - how was your shopping day?

Mic - that is awesome about Make A Wish. I think it is such a cool charity as well. Did you hear about the new charity thing where you can buy a pig or a goat and donate it to a family in a developing company. I thought that was crazy at first, but I bet a chicken or a goat or whichever would be really helpful.

TVT - Just a few days until you get to join the rest of us in the cold cold weather. Pack warm.

my sil is a doctor that works with doc without borders and the other medical group of a specific livestock animal for a villager.

she donates cows and goats program in africa. she only makes 3 trips a year there as she goes to other places also.


i bought a goat for her.

Tonight is the night of a million things to do...so hope it all comes together. Today should be quick...have an appt. coming in this morning to discuss cleaning the new offices, then at 1 I've got to attend a workshop with some other employees about this DISC test we all took last week. I got my analysis back, it actually is pretty much me, a few things I could disagree with, but I guess its how I answered the questions...the choices of answers were 'most' or 'least like' and some I felt I was in the middle

Well, think I might get a move on this morning.......see you all later, have good days everyone, stay warm (or cool for our southerners) and hope all those that have been not feeling good feel lots better!

Morning all!

Why oh why does the school system have to insist on half the students(6-12) go a half day of school?!?!? I could still be in my cozy bed.

Had an issue with trent at basketball practice last night. Seems the poor kid can't stick up for himself with out getting kicked out of practice, but the other kid got NOTHING!!! I can't wait until this seasons over...these have to be the worst coaches I have ever had to deal with!!!

I had paper at dave's mom and dad's so we went out there last night to do a few things and I was going to grab it....I forgot it!!! I still have those stupid presents to wrap.


Guess what?!?!?!? I got my secret santa gift!!! Thank you soooooooooo much to the person who sent it to me!!!!

Have to get going and get trent to school....have a good thursday everyone

I have an insane day here and a horrible headache. YUCK!

Pam - I'm sorry about T's basketball practice. Nico ended up in trouble at school yesterday and he came home and repeated over and over "I don't understand why I am the only one that got in trouble." As soon as I start to feel a little better I am going to run up to the school and talk to the Assitant Principal. If nothing else, the school needs to know a lot more about the student before they start handing out punishments.

Bob - Im sure your party will be a huge success.

TVT - we have almost the same weather as Memphis. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your family and friends.

Mac - that is so cool that you bought a goat. I think next year I want to buy a few chickens for families. Glad you got your shopping done.

Mic - I love those personality tests. I am an ENFP completely on the Myers Brigg test. And yes, one question that could be one or two different answers could change a few answers, but it sounds like they basically got it. Very cool. I hope you are able to get everything done tonight.

I have to run to Julie's school to take pictures, then off to Nicos school to run his christmas party, then back to pick Julianna up, then back to Nico's school to make sure his teacher doesnt get slammed with all the clean up. Sometimes I think Samantha should get a medal for all she does for her siblings.
