test Part 10

since i got the green light from mic, i'll continue to yak.......:rolleyes1

keisha has only 3 bottles of beer on the wall now..........

bet she is being busy tonight.

i heard her doggy ate the bottom row of her tree lights......

brandy-new LED pine cone lights:mad: and a few ornaments for dessert; same old song as last years...just thought i had them up high enough on the tree. Now it's worse than when the kids were little, i.e. 1/2 of tree lit & decorated. At least the tots didn't eat the lights:upsidedow

gant i'm still shaking head as to choice of robert downey, we all know who the main 'bot is on this thread!...did u see Transformers? I lived thru all the cartoons & action figures many moons ago; still have the giant tyrannosaurus that walks lol. My sort of action flick.

How cool, hob-nobbing with celebs (can you sneak in a camera lol). If you were I girl, i'd vote for high heels, short skirt & showing the girls:lmao: . As it's NY, NY...my vote is to dress in black from head to toe - dress pants & shirt (not tucked in;) ) or sweater...leather blazer is always a nice touch.

I ironed for 2-1/2 hours, always makes me nervous; afraid i'll scortch something.

TGI not F;) , if i'd only stay off the internet i could get my act together:rolleyes1 it's my drug of choice lol

big dog decided to use Xmas tree as backscratcher this am, watched it wobble in a sickly sorta way:eek: visions of all my prized kid-home made ornaments broken...it settled back down with minimal collateral damage. Note to self - tie down the tree.

mac - i don't know much yet i know "something about nothing":lmao:

Morning all!

both of my boys thought it was friday today..i had to break it them it was only thursday;)

KS--are you packed yet? do we have to kick you off of the computer everytime we see you on here until you get your stuff done?

gant--How cool is that?! I googled New York night club attire last night and the only thing that really came up was a guy with no shirt on:confused3 I think what you said sounds good though:thumbsup2

mac--i might as well tell you congrats again since i have done it twice already. Seems that when I am looking at something and just hit the back button it post the last thing I posted. That has happened to me a couple of times now since I have had this new computer:confused3 just learn to ignore me:upsidedow

mic--a trip to florida in Jan. sounds very fun. I bet your mom would be so happy to see you.

Well, I better get my butt in gear. I want to do a little cleaning before my whole load gets here so I can lay around on Sat. and watch it snow:3dglasses

Oh Tony, shush up..........:upsidedow hey, we are 1/2 closer to Friday then we were a couple hours ago.....

KS, your doggie is a bad doggie....has a fetish for Christmas decorations huh?? My poor doggie that we lost several years ago always thought our tree was outdoor apparatus that could be used for a potty facility :scared: I used to watch him like a hawk and he would still sneak a piddle in. My little baby now is so good, he wouldn't think of misbehaving like that, plus he knows he would get a time out:lmao:

My mom spent several days in a progressive care unit and then they put her back in a regular room. Around Saturday she started sounding more like herself. Her surgeon was very pleased with her surgery and how she is coming along. They discovered some heart issue, so they are erring on the side of caution. Then of all things I LOST her last night...they want her in a rehab type facility for a few weeks to regain her strength before letting her go home as of course she is alone. They moved her around 5 last night and I wasn't sure where to, so this morning I tracked her down and spoke to her. She is not a happy camper, she wants to go home, but I told her, she needs to be healed better and get some therapy, she has been basically in a hospital bed for over a week 1/2 plus had major surgery. She doesn't recognize that just trying to get back to taking care of herself after all that won't be as easy as she thinks. She is doing amazing though and is lucky things went so well. They removed a part of her intestine/bowel and reconnected it to remove the mass and the bad part. Heck, I'd be down and out with that let alone being 80 years old......so, I need to convince her to take it a day at a time and not think far ahead to going home, but she isn't listening:headache: She just wants to go home, and really, I do understand that.

I'm excited for our man of Iron with his little jaunt to the high life, hobnobbing with celebs....I want to KNOW EVERYTHING......no detail forgotten!!

KS, get packing......:rotfl: J/K....I spend time when I should be productive hanging out on the net too.........hmmm...just like I have lots of work to do and I'm sneaking in here and visiting with my best friends!!

OK, I have decided to go with the advice from KS. I will wear a black (pinstripe for the Yankees) shirt, black pants, shoes and sportscoat. I also heard from another source that black is the primary color of choice for Manhattan nightclubs.

See you all later.

:thumbsup2 You will look handsome and not just because of the yankee pinstripe!! Hope you have a great time and we do want to hear all about it.

Mic--i'm glad you found your mom. I can understand how she feels but i am sure they just want to make sure everything is good before they send her home.

I am leaving early today as trent has a basketball game about 20 minutes away. Malarie is coming to watch the kids for me.:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 I tend to wear mostly black, matches my sunny personality - ha.

my fashionista friends tease me & tell me everyone who is everyone;) in NYC dresses in basic black:confused3 think they just don't want to get dirty from the yucky streets.:rotfl: i'm such a hick, only to the big city once; way too bustling for me.

mic - my mom had a bowel resection over 25 years ago, no issues other than her digestive system runs very fast; so happy she's on her way to recovery; even if it's not running the way she wants;) . IMO, it's good she's spunky!

Got the suitcases (except for garment bag packed); plan on emptying them out tomorrow after i get my hair touched up...way too much stuff, mostly mine. i've got 5 pairs of shoes packed: black, gold, silver & black sequiened espadrilles along with a pr of nikes.:rolleyes1 Think i'll dump some t-shirts & shorts lol

pam - snow:eek: , keep it out your way please.

Good Morning Testers !! Hope you all have a great weekend.....got friends coming this weekend for a Disney visit so I'll be out there with them and that dang mouse !!

GO VOLS !! BEAT LSU !! :cool1:

Good morning my friends.....chilly one here, but still not too bad

How did the bb game go Pam?

KS, what time do you depart? You are flying to FLA to pick up the cruise? Shall we just call you Imelda now with all those shoes :thumbsup2 I hope you have an awesome time, and we want details from you also!!

Tony, have a great weekend, is it Laura you are meeting up with? Tell her hi for me and have fun.......

More later, gotta get a move on, which reminds me that Gant will be gettin' a groove on:dance3:

Morning all! TGIF!!!!!

The ball game went just okay. Trent is on the A and B team and the B team won while the A team lost. I am not to thrilled with the coaches:sad2: this one is suppose to be a youth minister and he keeps telling kids to shut up. Can I just say I HATE THAT WORD!!!!!!! you know it is something if you use it jokingly but i think other words can be used to get kids attention...especialyy 7th graders. I guess that is JMHO!!!
It is kinda funny that most of the kids that are on the A team are also on trent's traveling bb team and I have to say that I think if you would compare the 2 that the traveling team is MUCH better.....which leads me to say that it is all in the coaching!!!! Okay, enough of that rant!!!!

KS--I hope you have a great time...take lots of pictures!!

Mic--are you putting up those decorations this weekend?

tony--have a great time with your friends and the mouse!

mac--do you have your decorations from your basement yet?

ed--are your kids in any sports right now or is this your "off" season?

bob--how is basketball going for cam?

ocm--when are you buying that laptop? Maybe when you get that you will be around more!!

gant--Hope you have a great time tonight!!!!

Have a great friday everyone.

Hi guys, checked in on SW on the dot, got 3 seats beginning with A16:confused: think it's good, least we don't have to stand in the cattle call line:thumbsup2

off to get touched up and finish packing, DS has 1st home BB game this afternoon:cheer2: coach is mad 'cause he's going on vaca:confused3 (not as though he starts?)

pam - swing away, coaches have thick skin;) comes w/the job

mic - we hope to be entering Universal by noon tomorrow, then driving down to TPA on Sunday; will bore the heck outta ya' (have decided i like writing TRs, sort of a scrapbooking thang.

tony - have fun, wish we were doing the MK too

i'll miss you all

bob--how is basketball going for cam?

Pretty good. Cam scored two baskets last Sunday and one the Sunday before that. He's learning quickly to plant himself under the basket if he doesn't have the ball and either wait for a pass or grab a rebound. He probably had 6 or 7 rebounds the last game. It's a Kindergarden/1st Grade league and since he's an "old" 1st grader, he's one of the taller kids out there, so rebounding isn't too hard for him. :thumbsup2

He also plays some ferocious defense. :thumbsup2 Each kid is given a colored wristband and they're only supposed to guard the kid with the same color (otherwise, they all just swarm the ball). Cam's good at finding his person and sticking to him like glue. :thumbsup2

What kind of a league is it? I wish we would start that early but our kids don't get to start until 3rd grade. I really think that is why Noah's team is constantly losing in the league they are in up in Omaha. Every team there has been playing for atleast a year.

That is great for Cam!!!:cheer2:

It's a YMCA league. Our rec center doesn't start basketball until 2nd grade, so our neighbor found this league for this year. They play with a lower basket (I'd guess about 8 foot) and they don't keep score (officially ;) ). The rules are fairly relaxed, e.g. the kids tend to run around with not a lot of dribbling, they're not allowed to steal the ball off the dribble, etc.
