Bought DH a new ladder today. You know you're getting old when you get excited about tools. Scared me to see him swaying to & fro when he put the luggage up in the attic. Picked up some Xmas presents too, 2 tool boxes on clearance & some starter tools for the older 2 DS. Thought it would be a good idea to have them carry them in car trunk? Yes, we have gotten sos's lol.

was @ HPotter too, it's starting to head to the darkside...think i'll read those books now.

quick check-in, have to rid-up the dump - company's coming for oldest DSs bd; grilling out - wishing a great Sunday to all.

wow, everyone is up early..I lollygagged around til around 8:30, now I'm up and need to start My ds will be back from his foray to the Ocean City, so hoping he got gf to do his laundry but at least I'll have my stuff done if he brings home a bag full.

KS, you are smart picking up Christmas gifts as you go along. If I see something like that, I usually do that too. My shopping list is so much smaller than it used to be, it is much easier now. Hope you have a nice day grillin' and hope ds enjoys his birthday...

Pam, sorry I missed you, I forgot you were leaving this morning...well, I didn't really forget, I knew, but last evening I didn't get back here so I sorta forgot....... have a wonderful week!!

Mac, sorry your lawn mower is feeling poorly hope it gets fixed cheaply, although I think cows and goats are quite attractive in yards

My weekend was normal, got hair cut, did a little shopping on Saturday, rest of the weekend the usual laundry etc.....the weekends just are too short

Our town had it's summer festival this weekend, so we took the kids to it last night. They had a blast -- for only 2 years old, Ryan is one major daredevil. He insisted on riding all the stuff that Cameron rode, including this little roller coaster that he looked so tiny on.

Saturday, we hung around the house for the most part -- Nicole was off with her mom much of the day shopping for stuff for our bathrooms, which we had painted last week.

i think all my days are the same
that is what happens when you work seasonal i guess.

when you work, it seems like all days are mondays with the occassional friday thrown in there.

when you are off in the summer, everyday is saturday.


keisha, you missed a good one.
i got nailed at the public library for what they considered porn on their computers. couldn't use my computer at home so i went and used theirs in their comp lab room.
mic can tell it better........i think she laughed the hardest over it.

KS, poor mac got nabbed for posting on the thread at the library, some young chump monitor I guess was watching what she was doing, and of course, we being the innocents that we all are on this thread posted something the internet library police saw, and she got banned from the library..... we all thought she looked fantoozle in her orange jumpsuit and we all laughed about her being behind bars for being a bad girl at the public library.........I myself, do not look good in orange or stripes, so I personally behave when I frequent the public library

Ya know, we have had some darn good laughs along the way on this thread, and we have all helped each other through tough times and family problems...it's nice to have a place to come to and laugh, or lend an ear or give a hug.......friends like that can't be beat!!

SO on that note, what shall we dish about.......let's see....what did the doggie say when he sat on the sandpaper?

mac - orange is a hard color to wear , i've heard of books being banned @ the library . We are the company we keep

bob - nothing like that first carnival riding the big-boy rides, enjoy! Can't decide as to Geauga Lake or Cedar Point for couple days the end of month...any major construction on I-80 out your way?

Gosh, we had a hellacious storm blow up....wind, torrential rain, quarter size hail and then.............the power sputtered...and for about 3 hours, we had half power in the house....if you put a light on, it was yellow and looked like a kerosene lamp burning I couldn't go to bed, it was too hot upstairs, so I was resting in the recliner when the power powered up to full tilt again...it always amazes me how quiet it is outside when there is no power and no lights...quite eeery actually.......but the BESTEST part, it didn't knock out the modem for the internet....we are back up and running...ds and I both headed to the computers.... DH got called out to check on generators at the water plant........so a few extra pesos this week.

Think I'm off to bed now...I can sleep now, my air is back on. Although we will probably blow it all out again by turning everything back on
