it's wake up time...

where is the welcoming party for me?
i'm back home now from the airport.

are all of you crashed already for the night?

bob - nothing like that first carnival riding the big-boy rides, enjoy! Can't decide as to Geauga Lake or Cedar Point for couple days the end of month...any major construction on I-80 out your way?

No construction on I-80 that I know of and we took it to Pittsburgh a month or so ago. I think the only construction was on the PA turnpike side (I-76).

Geauga Lake's nice and all, but if you're looking for roller coasters, Cedar Point's the place, even moreso this year since Geauga Lake took out two of their bigger roller coasters before this season. The new water park they built is really nice, however -- and tickets are a pretty good deal overall.

Good morning everyone. What a day yesterday. My boss calls me up and wants to know if I'll be in my office for the next few minutes. I tell him I will and he makes his way over to me. He hands me a letter that says that I got a promotion to senior manager with a very generous pay increase. I almost fell off my chair. He thanked me for all the work I have done and said I made him look like a star. Guess being swamped paid off in the long run. So I called Mrs. Gant and we made plans for dinner. We used the gift card that y'all gave me for my birthday last October so dinner cost me only the tip to the waiter. I pigged out on shrimp cocktail, crab stuffed shrimp and key lime pie for dessert. Thanks guys.

I hope you all have a great day.

:woohoo: Gant - absolutely fantastic news!:yay: :dance3: You deserve it, glad you were able to celebrate don't forget us mr. bigshot!;)

bob - thanks, i just cannot seem to decide between the 2, have been to GL so many times (not last year though) yet never to CP. We're not into real extreme coasters; some of theirs are sick (as my DSs would say):scared1: Website seems to indicate they offer several less vigorous, yet still zippy along the line of GL?

Tony got me thinking, what is it exactly that i do do?

mic - soon for the stitches?

mac - shopping for goats?

ocm & pam - hope you both are having good road trips.

noticed my post count, had to come back home for 8,000:banana:
