wimp, schwimp...i've got papers to prove it
...it's a mighty long list.
suppose i could blame it on my bad back, fear of heights or long lines; shameful truth is i was petrified
i did enjoy the heck out of most of the rides, can't wait to go back; overall park is much bigger and enjoyable than i thought it would be. Even liked the Snoopy ice show.
Surprisingly got air time most of the ride on the blue streak. Iron dragon (lost count how many times we rode that one) is fun, wish it were just a hair more intense.. Family said they never heard a scream like the one i let out going down the 1st hill on the Gemini. The guys rode some of the "big boys"; both said the Mean Streak hurt their backs.
Disaster Transport was stupid & weird, no track - you roll in the dark in a tunnel? Mine Creek was just ok.
Castaway Bay was fun, smaller than i thought it would be. Glad we only bought the after 5 pm tix. Water roller coaster solicited another yelp out of me. when DS rode a 2nd time the attendent asked where "the screamer was"
Bob - i've never seen ANY hotel as dirty/rundown as the Econolodge; got on the horn with Choice hotels & demanded a refund. They honored our rate @ the Clarion @ the mall (very nice, recently refurbed). We were going to eat dinner @ the Thirsty Pony after the WP...until we noticed the hand-written sign on the door "no firearms within 10 feet of restaurant"
. It's really rough looking in that area.
tony - i've scheduled a couple trips around shuttle launches (have yet to hit it lol); enjoy!
Other than my vested interest in mr bond's trading card value - hee-hee; i've followed his career since his days w/the Pirates many years ago. While i'm sure he's juiced; how many other less-stellar players also went this route over the years? Baseball, football - everyone's looking for an extra edge. While the teams didn't sanction it, i refuse to believe they didn't unofficially encourage it. Seems to me the league didn't give a darn upfront, only when a 'known suspect' starting closing in on the record did they start waving their arms madly.
IMO he's the poster boy to point a finger at, doesn't help that he's very opinionated either i suppose.
oh yeah....GO STEELERS!!!!!!
