test Part 10

MW...Madeline Kahn was always so funny...yes, her type of comedy is missed

LOL...guess what was in my mail when I got home today? A flyer from Disney for 40% off:rotfl:

I rode my bike before eating, did 10 miles!!:cool1: Now I'm extra hungry...doesn't that defeat the purpose...;) :rotfl:

quite a few people reported on another thread that they received the 40% coupon in the disney destination email.

i was not one of the lucky ones.

congrats mic.

go and have fun and love your discount.

metro...........blazing saddles.......

mac, thanks, want to change your last name? then I'll share the promo # :goodvibes

and to show how dumb I am, I got a better deal then what I thought...:upsidedow I thought the guy quoted the room at $229 per night pre-tax, but it is only $204 and $229 w/tax...that is an awesome rate for the Poly......AAA quoted $335 w/tax, and Disney website posted $365 before tax.....great deal, hope they ad the dining, I would like for my hubby to be able to sample that...for me it's too much food, but I'll make room for it :thumbsup2

Yep, couldn't believe I got that card in the mail after reading KS post...karma I guess.....and Samson at CR was so nice, compared to the first fruitloop I got:rolleyes:

ocm - Glad the workout was so good.Guess I need to go get another treadmill or something because it is just to hard to go that far to a gym regularly.

mac - I think I got it.

thursday - nekkid day/dedicated to ocm; but why?????

friday - silver day/dedicated to gant

wednesday - hump day/dedicated to pam; this one I have heard many times before

tony is a thong master as in the shoe thong, and I was thinking you guys were talking about the bathing suit thong!

skool
kewl

I will try to do it right!

Did you get to take that power nap? Hope you were able to finish the paper work.

Personal trainer at Curves sounds wonderful. The closest one of those is about 30 minutes away too.

That food combination sounded ummm, good?

Hope you enjoyed the quiet time.

ks - I would like to have ocm's old body too fromt he way you guys are talking.

I have never gotten a pipn code but my dad, who only has gone because I really wanted the whole family to go, has gotten one mailed to my address.

My DS, who has only been when I paid for his trip has also gotten one. :headache:

mw - loved her too!

mic - That is great news and a wonderul deal on the Poly.

Evening all!

I have had a AWFUL night!!! my parents were late picking up the kids by almost an hour, I didn't get the rates on airfare I wanted, and worst of all Trent got his cell phone STOLEN out of his basketball locker today. He also got his jeans, zip up hoodie, and shoes stolen:confused3 Not quite understanding the whole thing but apparently they need it worst than trent does:mad: Filed a police report and waiting to talk to the worthless principal in the morning. I am sure it will be trent's fault since he didn't have a lock on his locker like everyone else.

About the airfare, i ended up booking it tonight. We are going to end up adding another night onto our stay...it was actually cheaper to do that instead of paying the sat. rate to come back.

ks--i like the old greenlee...i can't wait until she is back. Why is it that right now all the shows are having one person go blind? 2 of my shows have had that happen now:confused3

I think i am going to go and try to relax now. I was going to go to the gym tonight and ended up trying to figure everything out so i didn't make it there yet again:sad2:

Have a good night everyone

Can't stay awake at 9:30 p.m....then insomnia strikes at 3 a.m. :headache:

Pam, that is awful about Trent's stuff and I know how upsetting it is. Maybe they can trace the phone by any calls that are made on it? That just plain sucks...and like you said, they must have needed the stuff worse then him...the world is full of vile people and I guess even kids:sad2:

What deal did you get on airfare? KEWL, that should have made the day a tad better

Ok, back to try and sleep, wandered to the bathroom and decided to sit here for a few minutes...come 6:30 I won't want to get up!

Nope Lori.....got nothing to do witrh shoes or bating suits.....:rolleyes1

More of a "collection hobby" kinda thing......:lmao:

Nekkid day is in honor of OCM because she likes to be nekkid.....:rolleyes1

test 101 now in session.

over the last 4 years, we have created a new language here and want to tip you off on some of them.

all thursdays are naked day. we spell it nekkid. it is dedicated to ocm/sweet

i think this came into being in year 2

all fridays are silver day. they were named for gant.
i think this came into existence going on the 3rd year.

pam dedicated wednesdays to hump day.
it is her favorite day of the week.

tony is a thong master since they gave him blisters on his toes.
school is spelled: skool
cool is spelled: kewl

if i think of anymore, i'll post them

You just failed that part of your own test Mac....Thong Master has nothing to do with shoes...:lmao:

Pam - That is so aweful about Trent. You let us know if you want us to call the worthless principal too. I am mad for you. When I first read that, I thought it was a prank. But, you must have ruled that out. Was he waiting for you in his boxers in the locker room? I am so sorry you had to deal with that, but my heart goes out to Trent.

I have to run and get the kids ready. Off to the gym again. I shall try to catch up with everyone later this morning.

MW...Madeline Kahn was always so funny...yes, her type of comedy is missed
Yes indeed. I get sad watching her sometimes but laughing at the same time. She and Gilda Radner were two of the funniest women ever....along with Lucille Ball of course.

It hit here last night too:headache: Hope you got more sleep than I did. I am NOT happy about the airfare I got....the cheapest I found was $250.50 and we didn't even get the flights we wanted. Those were over $300 a person:headache: :headache: I will continue to look, but with gas prices going up I don't know if we will find anything cheaper. I was hoping for southwest to be around $220=$230 but when i looked the other day it was $250 and the very next day it went up to $330:scared1:

He had his shorts that he practiced in, and had to wear those home along with his basketball shoes. Dave went to school with Trent this morning to go in and look around again thinking someone moved all his stuff to a different locker or something but still came up empty. I need to call our cell phone stores to see if I can alert them so If anyone goes in and tries to change his phone that they know it is stolen. What a huge headache!!!!!!:sad2:

Freaky Friday:banana:

mic :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2: FANTASTIC guess i'm the resident psychic, or is that psycho?:rotfl: definitely one of my better I told you so's;)
I want to hear all about which resort you settle upon. i'd pick CR MK view:thumbsup2 cannot describe how cool to sit on balcony & watch the FW @ end of the day, then hop in bed 5 min. later. Liked waking up to 1st monorail's faint rumble & going outside door in my jammies to watch the opening of Chef Mickey's each am I just might call today JIK lol

pam - sorry code wasn't there for you:mad: Do you have the Dis Visa or AAA. Keep monitoring mousesavers:wizard: As for SW; i wasn't happy with the price of one way airfare to LAS; then it went up almost $70 pp within an hour of release. As I recall my Saturday, Dec. rate for SW to MCO dropped dramatically a month or two out...watch the DINGS. Worst case, book it and even if you can't use the credit when it drops - sell it on eBay. Mine just closed got $52 for a $60 credit that expires in less than a month. Tried to list last month; but messed up in the category i placed it in & it got yanked. From what i gather; they tend to earn 90%+ of their value.

pam part #2 Isn't that the 2nd cell phone to meet a bad end for your DS, stinks. Assume you deactivated the phone? You should be able to pull up the phone #s the perps called & get a good lead as to "whom" for the authorities. Our skool district has a no cell phone policy. Unless the parent sends in written authorization that the child has permission to have it on their person; they will confiscate it and parent must pick it up. 2nd offense; they hold until the end of year (doesn't sound legal to me). They also lose the phone (at teacher's discretion) if they have it turned on & it rings. Glad we have mostly howdy dowdy kids. While aboard our cruise, received a phone call from a gym teacher...Dumby DS left his phone in the locker room after BB practice.

tony - collecting kitsch is a lovely hobby, i prefer Disneyana; guess you're more of a thongeyana guy:lmao:

lori - i still use 3 by 5 index cards to keep it all straight, if it fails; I plead extreme blondeness:idea: ; a common malady here.

metro - got me thinking of funny peeps, a good thang indeed on a cold day in January.

saw a documentary about Don Rickles (the king of mean) the other day on HBO, always liked him and Dangerfield...not sure what that says about me.

An official Morning all!

Ugghhh...this day is crazy too...i can't wait till i get to sleep in tomorrow.

ks--our school has kinda the same policy. If they are seen or heard they will get taken away. Trent usually keeps his in his pocket on silent all day. He likes to have it so he can call us when he is done with practice as it is never the same time every day. It is really nice for him to have when he isn't in any sports. That way we know if he is walking home, finding a ride home, or hanging out with some friends for a little while. I have been watching my bill...there has been no calls or text yet. I need to wait for the phone offices to open before i can call them. Oh and yes this is the 2nd cell phone:sad2:

What is everyone doing this weekend?

Hi all, I called it right...at 6:30 when the alarm went off, I was sound asleep...oh well, as Tony said, IT'S FRIDAY:cool1:

Has been steadily raining...supposed to clear off, but hasn't yet

KS, I picked the Polynesian, for sentimental reasons...I really love WL, but again, picked the Poly as it was our first on-site hotel way back when...in fact it was only the Poly and Contemporary then. Now I'm excited about picking places to eat and I've considered adding a night, but not sure about that, might do it and then I can drop it if we decide to.

Pam, hope you get some leads on the rotten thief! I would be livid too.

KS is right, you can get the credits with SW if something opens up, you just have to dog the website and watch your Ding's...I just happened on my $49 one way to Florida in Feb...and I'm thrilled I lucked into it, I usually don't find the good stuff or its dates that don't fit...anyway, good luck. When is the trip scheduled again? I can't remember, I know you said no more middle summer :goodvibes

Ok, got a little work to do, very slow til we get the month and last year totally closed out, then I'll be bombed with work.

oh snap pam, that is just awful!!

maybe there is something you can do to reclaim the items.
call the cell company and tell them it was stolen and they can record the calls that go out and come in on that phone. that is how the kids at the junior high here get caught. then have the cell company turn it over to the police. one thing, you have to agree to having the police involved and then press charges before your carrier company will do the tracing.

tell the school principal they need to put a claim of loss in for you.
and have them reimburse you. go to the school board if necessary.

this can work.

i have found it cheaper to fly on t-th for the best rates.
i avoid saturday due to the increase for the weekend.

pam when you book flights on line, the price increases each time a ticket is sold. it will hold at the higher price between 15-30 minutes depending on the carrier.

recheck later to see if the price has dropped. then book your seats.

try booking buddies. com for help on the cheapest flights for you.

some carriers have a policy of giving credit when prices drop after you book your seats. then don't give it to you automatically, you have to call and request it. the dropped price has to show on line before the company will work with you on the reduction cost

i am so far behind in life today, i read and posted as i came upon them on the thread.

looks like i'm a yodeling in the valley now.....

keisha: i always knew why i liked you. strange just like me..

ocm/sweets: hooray, you get to go to the gym again today!
you will feel great all day now.

lori: don't listen to tony. he really wears them on his head.....

metro: i love all those gals you mentioned.

mic: hope your day is smooth and goes fast. tonight get the sleep after the tv shows. legally blonde 2 is on tonight.

pam: we need an update on trent.

tony: golf again this weekend?
how did it go with your parents? is your mom 's health improving?
any more talk of you relocating to tn?

bob: where the heck are you?

gant: i had to make my own coffee this morning.............i would have been here earlier if someone else had made it for me.....;)

ed: MIA...............bring a note from home. :teacher:

Okay, the latest update is: Trent found his phone!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Someone put his jeans, phone, shoes, sweatshirt in a different locker and used trent's lock to lock it:confused3 I don't know why kids do what they do but the may thing is that trent found it!!! Now I have to call the phone companies, and the police to tell them we found it.

mic--we are going May 24-June 1st. I am sure being gone around Memorial Day has something to do with the high prices. I will keep on the lookout. I ended up booking through Airtran....has anyone used them?! I have never flown with them so I am hoping they are okay.

mac--i feel like i am behind on life too:confused3 I can't seem to catch up and then when i finally do someone in my family...mainly my mom calls and ask me to look this or that up about the cruise we are taking IN A YEAR:sad2: I finially told them that it is to big for me to handle and that I think it is time to get a travel agent involved. If it were just a few people I think I could do it but I don't want to do it as we will have 12 people going.

I am so glad it is friday!!:woohoo:
