IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!

I don't know why i am so glad it is friday...the weekend is full of running anyway!

tonight some friends are coming over and we are grilling out.
sat--trent has 2 games in lincoln and my friend is getting married.
sun--trent has 2 games in omaha.


who's next???? what are you all doing this weekend?

Friday's are a-ok with me

tvt - if she wasn't a pre-fab celeb; don't think she'd get much notice out in the real world; other than her video debut where's the talent. My older 2 DS don't think she's sick (the new term for hot lol); we're still trying to figure out what's not quite right with her eyes; lazy eye, one bigger than other - no biggie, just very distracting in one supposed to be so photogentic.

mac - you're keeping the good dr busy; take him an apple next week & tell him to leave you alone.

mic - kids whining - naw ; naps are a good thing.

pam - wow, very busy weekend - enjoy. Cannot remember the last time we did anything socially non-family; seems as though all our contemporaries are so wrapped up in their kids lives. The other group (the over 50's; we have a foot in each camp due to having our kids so spread out in age) have rolled up the carpet, waiting for the bone-yard ; never do anything but work & putz around their McMansions ;watching videos in media rooms.

ocm - how goes it down south?

RiverRats off to Reading tomorrow, i'm a bad ma - skipping the 5+hour drive each way - i'll be there in spirit . Hope it's not the last time this season I shout out:

storm hit last night at midnight and it rained 1.25 inches in 52 minutes said in morning paper here. chgo never got a drop of rain.

today have to clean up the broken limbs off my trees.
then going to curves as if yard work won't be enough of exercise???


and went to the store this morning and bought those apples...
i'll take one with me on tuesday morning..

Hi all.........back from a hard day at the pool....don't feel sorry for me you say...well we were guardians of 4 kids...we gained 2 along the way...LOL...the little neighbor girls wanted to tag along, so we said yes

mac - glad that bad storm missed you, we had a front go thru just now...so much rain the pool is overflowing (not a good thing, glad we caught it or our motor would've burnt out). My motto is better livin' thru chemistryhelps keep the grackins @ bay when they rear their ugly heads. My neck has been good lately, hope i don't beat the crap outta of it @ MCO.

thanks for the kind Rat words - DS must be nervous, called me twice today. That usually only happens when they want money.

no ks, the storm hit us and bypassed chicago.
read later this afternoon we did receive 4 inches of rain total from midnight to 3 this morning.
we had 1.25 inches in the first 52 minutes then it stopped for an hour and started up again.

On my way out to get my errands done before I start getting ready for that wedding today. Dave and the kids are going to go to Trent's game and then meet up with me later. Not planning on staying at the dance to long as we have to be in omaha pretty early tomorrow.

back from the wedding and had to leave the dance early. Dave was on his way to meet me at the reception and got a phone call. See, his dad help coach the 16-17 year old baseball team and he got hit by a ball in the head. They were going to take him to the emergency room and couldn't find his mom. So he ended up going to omaha with his mom and he was going to take the boys with him but i told him just to leave them here and i would come home.

update is:

he has a broken bone around his eye(not sure if it is above or below his eye--assuming it is below as when he blew his nose he blew out blood) He can't see out of his eye but they are hoping that it is because it is filled with blood. When dave left last night his eye was swollen shut. They kept him overnight so after trent gets done with his games we will go see him and know more of what is going on.

Morning...oh dear, so sorry to hear about Dave's Dad. We had a family member this happened to, and it's scary stuff. Same symptons you are talking about too. Lots of prayers and hugs coming out to you guys. Keep us posted and I will keep him in my thoughts today....

The game last night was AWESOME...biggest crowd EVVA at Chase Park, over 49,000 people, and there were a TON of Red Sox fans. We had nice seats and it was fun. They didn't open the roof until after we were there, so that was pretty neat to see that unfold. We saw just about everyone play but Manny, he sat out. It went extra innings of course and it was pretty late when we got home. GS fell asleep during the game, have no idea how he slept with all that noise Much cheaper than going to a game in Baltimore and even sitting in the upper deck, good view and could see it all.

We head home in the morning.. expecting a full plane I guess, went online not even 30 minutes after our 24 hr. window for boarding pass and got in the B group....

Gotta do some laundry and just chill with the babies today

Mic, great to hear. I'm going to a Philly game this Tuesday in a "FOX" box with all the bells and whistles and then to a (forgive me) Yankees game on July 21st in another box with all the booze and food you can consume, I'm enjoying the weekend by having a few cocktails. I DJed a relay for Life (cancer) event this past Friday and just had a BBQ for my family and a few of my sons friends. Hope you all have a wonderful week.
