It is so awful. My heart goes out to everyone in Paris, and France, and everyone who fights for good, or what they believe to be right, through non violent means (like editorial cartoons).

Here's a video from the gathering in my city. It was about a 3 minute walk from my apartment, and I could hear the singing and chanting from my window. Amazing.

Indeed, there are no words. I wish peace to the families and friends of the victims.
I fear that Le Pen, PEGIDA and their ilk will try to make hay of this. Let's hope institutions in countries affected by xenophobia and racism of such groups will follow the example of the Dresden Semperoper and the Kolner Dom.
