It finally got to the day I could make and ADR for it. I waited until about three and the only night was 7:30 about and hour later than I want. Do they keep a few tables aside for walk ins or are they just booked solid. I thought I would have a few hours but damn they are stuck. I changed today and couldn't get Via Napoli for a night slot. And that's at 179 days. Whew surprises me. I didn't think it would be bad for early Nov.

I don't know if they keep tables open. Every time we've been there (or tried to get in without an ADR) they've been booked solid with people in line out the door...so I would take any time that's available..it's totally worth it!

I lucked out...6:30 on November 7th. Just what I wanted. Now for LeCellier. I'll try on Saturday at 6:00am. We have never eaten there in 10 trips! Had ressies once, but had to give them up because my dad went in the hospital nearby during our visit.

The answer has always been no. No TS at WDW hold tables for walk ins.

Now I know who has my seat :lmao::lmao:

I loved it last time while we were there, should this just be something I should just keep trying back everyday 2 times a day?

Not that I am obsessive or anything.

Teppan Edo does not keep tables for walk ups.
Keep trying though, things do open up

They do not keep tables open for walkins. sometimes, though, people cancel or don't show up for their reservations. You can try, but have an alternative ready. If you are willing to go right when they open for dinner, or to go for lunch, you might have better luck.

Good luck with Le Cellier...and take whatever ADR they offer you!!! Our first year, we called several times a day until we finally got one...and ever since we've somehow lucked out. Last year was the first year we had to take a lunch ADR (instead of dinner), and it was just as good. Good luck!!!!

Teppan Edo IS SOOOOOO YUMMY!! I had a far better steak there than at Le Cellier believe it or not!! I would obviously keep the ressie you have, and keep trying for earlier times. Even if you dont have luck until the day you arrive, keep checking for openings with your concierge!! You can try walking up....I walked up (I missed the ressie i had the day before), and we got in!!! I was sooo happy. Mind you, it was only the two of us. But they do get no-shows or cancellations all the time. So im sure you'll get something if you keep trying.

I have to say ... We went to WDW last summer and tried all week to get ADR's and could not get into Crystal Palace for anything ... Walked right up to the place that morning and got a table for 5 for a 5:00 dinner ... So how is that even possiable if there are no tables according to the Dining number and the hotel ? I think they have to hold some kind of tables what about people that go and dont stay in the resort or know to make ADR'S ? I dont buy it ..

My DBF and I took our first Disney trip together in Sept. We had no idea we would need to make ADRs, so we didn't. We only had one table service meal being young and on a budget but we walked right into Tokyo Dining and the place wasn't even full! No wait or anything! Hopefully Nov. won't be too booked!

As posted above, many reasons for open tables people don't show up or are late, people eat quicker, etc.

These situations are not going to be reflected in the ADR system. Disney can only try to allow for these scenarios by over booking which can lead to problems.
