OK - this board is much, much too slow. Not enough going on. So to generate a little action - tell us about your rig. What you like about it - what you don't. And, while you're at it, tell us about your dream rig.
I'll go first.
We have a 2001 Sportsmen travel trailer. It is a model 3204PSS, with quad bunks in back, a queen up front, and a slideout with dinette and couch. We tow it with a 2000 Ford Excursion (diesel). It is the second rig we purchased by Sportsmen (KZ). The first was a 2000 of the same model, but without the slideout. One too many campouts in cold, rainy weather with too many kids underfoot, and I told my husband - "We trade it for one with a slide, or I quit camping!" So, back we went to the dealer for the second time in less than a year to order our current rig. We got to order it the way we wanted, so we added gel-coat fiberglass and changed some of the cabinetry around. I can't say enough good things about the manufacturer, KZ. They were fabulous with the modifications, and have gone above and beyond to take care of any concerns/problems we have had since - including fixing the slide motor AFTER it was out of warranty. We have towed this trailer to Florida and back, Montana and back, California and back, and all over our home state of Texas. We usually spend between 40 - 60 nights a year camping in it, although the last year was closer to 30 due to my increased work load and increased kids activities.
Someday, DH and I hope to have a fifth wheel with multiple slideouts, but we don't want to take that plunge til the kids are done travelling with us. Problem with a fifth wheel and 3 kids - all 3 have to sit in the same seat in a truck - and I don't think ANY of us could
stand that.

We pull it with a 2000 Suburban 1500 with 5.6 ltr, 3:73 rear end, tow package, and enough room on the inside that we are able to resist the urge to smack children as we drive
. The Everest has 3 slides, dual a/c's, washer/dryer, central vac, surround sound dvd, Direct tv and 1 1/2 baths. We pull it with a 99 Ford F350 diesel dually, crew cab, long bed. No, we don't shove all the kids in the truck. I usually drive my suburban down with the kids and utility trailer and golf cart. I love the Keystone products, and have had a few issues with it while in Ft. W for the summer last year (water line burst and underbelly/insulation fell to the ground was the only major one) but I will tell you Lazy Days will never work on it again. They kept it from Aug to Dec last year to fix everything. Oh yea, let's don't forget the tree that fell on it while at Ft. W, but they were wonderful. Counting down the days for our trip in April!!!
We have a very small "rig"--a 2001 Viking pop-up with a 10ft box. It has enough bed space for the 5 of us, plus Grandma, no toilet(like i'm going to do that in front of all the kids
), industrial-strength a/c
We pull with a GMC Safari minivan(V-8).
I can't wait to get back this summer.
