Getting ready to order a roku box, but not sure which model to get. They are priced from $49.99 to $99.00.
What model do you have and is it easy to use.
All our tv's are the older model. So no flat screens or hd.
I have the better model for 99. They have come out with the roku 2 which is suppose to be even better. They sell them at best buy you could check them out there. I dont know how they work with the older tv's. I really enjoy mine. I have netflix and hulu. They have alot of different channels now. Holy cow.
Our wireless tends to be wonky, and we wanted one that allowed us to plug it directly into our DSL line. We do have an HD TV, so I'm not sure how it would work with the older TV.
It just arrived on Wednesday, and it was easy to install and get up and running. We did have to go to a couple of websites to register our connection (Amazon, Hulu). It was very easy.
And, because it came with the full version of Angry Birds, the whole family (in 2 days) is now addicted. Pro or con? Not sure.
I bought the more expensive one because it had a usb slot so you can just plug a stick in there and play movies in addition to the ones you can stream.
If you don't have a hdmi connection on your tv the roku is a good option because you can use the regular video/audio cables.
If you have an older TV (with no plans to upgrade in the near future), why not go for the least expensive box (as the more expensive boxes are more geared-towards the HDTV sets/pictures).
