Hello! I just booked La Nouba for March for me, hubby, mom, and grandmother. We opted for the 6pm show (although I really would have preferred 9pm) because we were able to get the first row of the second section....section 203....row AA....seats 1-4. None of us have experienced a Cirque presenation before, but I understand it's an experience that we'll never forget. Does this seating arrangement sound good for the performance? Will 76-year old grandma enjoy it?

Hello ~

Oh yes, you'll love it, and I've sat in different places to see the show and the closer I was the more I enjoyed it. It's so wonderful, you'll be amazed as to what they do, the colors, music, etc., and be sure to check out the gift shop too, it's incredible! Have fun!

La Nouba was a really interesting and entertaining show. However, after a while my husband and I actually became bored. There is no intermission, and while each stunt is amazing and each performer is fabulously talented, I think the acts went on too long.

I know you won't hear this from too many people around here, but I just thought i'd share my 2 cents.

Have Fun!

Those are awesome seats...they do some stuff around the center isle (between the two sections) that you will have a perfect view for.

My Cirque experience was one that many people have had. I was hesitant about paying so much for a show, I refused to see it...better things to do with my money, I used all the excuses... finally I was given tickets for a performance of La Nouba...Since then hubby and I have seen La Nouba countless times, Alegria twice, Quidam 4 times, "O" once, Mystere once, Dralion once and Varekai three times. We are anxiously awaiting a trip back to Las Vegas for the new show KA and for Varekai to come to Tampa in 2006. We also have our computer room decorated in Cirque posters and soveniers :)

I guess you could say we left La Nouba wanting more. The artists in the Cirque shows are so incredibly talented, it is mesmerizing and breathtaking all at the same time. You definetly will not be disappointed :) Have a great time at the show.

I love it, keep the honest feedback coming. We too have been to WDW and Las Vegas many times and just never make the time for a Cirque performance. This particular trip we will be celebrating my birthday, so it seemed like a fun thing to do.

I have to say that I didn't care for La Nouba. I went because my DH wanted to and he got mad at me when I didn't show what he considered the proper appreciation for the show. I don't care for acrobatics or juggling and that's what Nouba is all about. But so that my DH's attitude didn't ruin the rest of my vacation I had to gush about how wonderful it was. I wouldn't bother going again or to any other Cirque performance.

I love La Nouba, both DH and I enjoyed it very much. We've seen several Cirque shows and its hard to choose which one is my favorite. The show is breathtaking, it makes you wonder how they can do all those acrobatics without fear.

We love LaNouba - we've seen it twice.

I really think you will enjoy the show - it is very entertaining!

I guess I value my Disney time too much to enjoy this show. I spent most of my time regretting the cost of the show vs. cost of other WDW entertainment. Sure the show is great, but I probably would have enjoyed it better somewhere other than Disney. I was amazed by the sales pitch as we waited for the show to start. After we left, we all joked about the people selling "La Nouba CD... La Nouba Programme... La Nouba Video." We still laugh about that three years later.

LibertyBelle - I'm Jealous! :earboy2:

My first La Nouba experience was awesome. I took DS, who was then 10. I was moved to tears by one act (the Red Ribbons) & my son got goosebumps. These are typical reactions for us if we are moved by a performance. I did not expect to be so transported......

The next time we went back, we took DH, who is not as big of a theater/arts lover as we are - but even he loved it & wants to go back. Last time he was in Vegas with his friend, they tried to get in O, but were unable to. He was seriously disappointed.

I have the La Nouba CD & listen to it often. I watch CdS shows on Bravo, but it's just not the same. I'm hoping we can squeeze in a show to our upcoming trip.

We've seen it twice. The last time we were literally front row, dead center! We love the show, but have a hard time justifying the expense of seeing it a third time. The first time it was just my wife and I, the second time our two older kids were with us (ages 7 and 10 at the time) and the ate up every minute of it.

I think La Nouba is the single best attraction at WDW... although I think once you have seen it, a lot of the magic is lost seeing it a second or third time. But the first time - blown away. This thread is the first time I have seen anything about this show that is even remotely negative (other than the cost, of course).

I never get tired of LaNouba! We are seeing it for the third time this Feb and can't wait!

It is as wonderful as all the Cirque shows. I saw -O- and Mystere first, then La Nouba twice, -O- one more time and then La Nouba, with my daughter, a third time, a couple weeks ago. It blows me away every time, stunning. The performers, the music, the sets. Nothing compares to a Cirque show, hard to explain it. And your seats are about as good as you can get, front row, second tier. As said, a lot goes on on the walkway separating the two, as well as high up. Lower rows have to look back and up for much of the action. I have always requested second tier after first seeing -O-.

Enjoy.

Reading this thread has made me feel better about myself & DH. :p We too had the front row, in the middle, on the 2nd tier. The seats were amazing, but I have to admit to getting very bored. I actually fell asleep. Parts of the show are great, then there is those parts that seem to last forever. What finally put me into lala land was the never ending flights on the fabric or curtains. I think I could have pulled that off. :p DS liked the show, and we've been considering trying it again, thinking we were the only 2 weirdos on the planet who didn't think the entire show was mesmerizing. Glad to know we're not the only ones. On a positive note, your seats are wonderful, just go wide awake & you should have a great time. Enjoy! :)

There's not a bad seat in the house and the show is an experience not to be missed.
