Just got home from selling Girl Scout cookies with DD7 around the neighborhood. It's not as cold as it has been, so we took advantage of the 42 degree weather to walk around the neighborhood. I think she's up to about 32 or so boxes sold, so we're doing well.

Getting ready to watch some football. Probably won't be on much tonight, but I may check in every once in awhile to post a score (if it's good news)! Hope everyone has a great Saturday night!

GO COLTS!!!!!

The bridesmaids all wore red, but they all had different dresses:confused:

That is becoming very common nowadays especially as the bridesmaids usually have to pay for their own dress now. So long as they are a uniform colour and somewhat similar style.

What time can we tune in Monday? :rolleyes1
Actually it's been delayed, I'll let you know when you can all visit the site :rotfl2:

My gynecologist has that problem at my annual when I say "How's it looking down there?"
OMG I read that as anal :rotfl2:

Hey--wow, this Facebook thing is cool.......wait where am I now???
:rotfl2:

We got home a couple of hours ago. Jenny and the kids gave me my present - a Steamboat Willie Mickey for my office. We then played a game of Magic Kingdom; I came in last. :sad1: Everyone had fun. :goodvibes
Sounds lovely :goodvibes

I don't know about ya'll, but I'm exhausted. I've been liquored up, kidnapped, poked, and now I have cooties.
:rotfl2: Your DH keeps trying to get me drunk :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Hi all. Killing time between the wedding and the reception. The receptionis 2 minutes from our house so we will be leaving again in a few minutes.
So funny you're here in the middle of a wedding :rotfl: BTW it's getting quite common for the bridesmaids to choose 1 fabric but have different styled dresses here!

Well done her :thumbsup2

As we're all on FB now would anyone like me to set up a private group just for us there?

Edited to say I just did it, we don't have to use it!!!

Did you really marry Dean Smith??
I think that REQUIRES you to move to NC! :lmao:
HEY !!!

He's not proud of it.. Born in Durham Too:sad2: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache:

His name was supposed to be Allen.. but when MIL saw the initals.. she quickly decided on Dean..( Allen Scott Smith) and at that time.. Mr Dean Smith.. was not in the picture at UNC

I don't know about ya'll, but I'm exhausted. I've been liquored up, kidnapped, poked, and now I have cooties.

I glad you finally know this now you can move on :rotfl2:

I'm surprised Katt, didn't pick up that comment...either that or she is ignoring me:rolleyes1
:cool2: Huh... Did you say something Deputy.. I had my i-pod on

Hi all,

I only made it back to the beginning of the day. If I tried going further, I'm not sure I'd finish by the time the sitter gets here.

On the 2010 Focker trip idea, Jenny is on a teaching schedule, and the school year starts here by the second week of August. :sad1:

We had a great time in NC. For those of you with Enchanted it is titled A Redneck Christmas. It won't let me link to it. Here's some of my favorite pics.
I love the pictures Kristel. :thumbsup2 Jenny and I used to take weekend trips to that area before the kids. We'd stay up in the North Georgia mountains, maybe do an overnight across the border in Ashville.

And man, oh man, you got a Wii too?!?! That's it. I must be the only person without one.

Well, I can't have that, now can I? It's just wrong:sad2:
We don't have one at the house. :sad2: But, I have access to one at the office. I just don't see myself doing Wii Fit at the office.
We'll play tennis or golf after a particularly stressful meeting, etc., but I'm not sure I'd want to go through an exercise routine there. :faint:

Happy birthday, David!!! :wizard:
Thanks Dawn! Cool Mickey pic!

Happy Birthday Mr. T]
Love the Tigger picture! Thanks Janet.

Today I am going to clean up and litte and we have a babysitter coming. We're going to dinner tonight for our anniversary, which is actually tomorrow.
Have a great dinner! And, happy anniversary a day early! :goodvibes

Happy birthday Mr. T!
Thanks Jen! Hope you're feeling better!

:thanks: Angela!

A quick MIL update.... she is HOME from the hospital! The problem is that the doctor sent her home because he couldn't do anything for her. But she's still in pain and they can't figure out why. So, although it's good that she's home, she's not better. :sad2:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAVID!!!
Thanks for the B-day wishes!

I hope the docs can figure out something to help your MIL!  Isn't there anything they can do for the pain at least?

Sounds like you had a nice dinner. Jenny and the kids surprised me with an impromptu dinner of Chinese food, and a cake.

I remembered part of what I forgot:rotfl2:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR T!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Theresa!

HI G-LUV. HOpe all is well with you and JON...
We're missing you here!

Happy Birthday David
Thanks Jo! Y'all seem to find some of the best b-day pics. Good luck with Jess and FB. It's only of matter of time before DD11 starts asking. She's already asked about DIS but seems to have forgotten for the time being.:rolleyes1

Kat- How do you deal with Sarabeth and DIS? Has she asked about FB yet? How is she doing? I seem to recall her being under the weather in the not too long ago, but many pages back, postings.

Happy Birthday Mr. T!!! :cake:
Thanks T! Good luck with the shopping.

party:HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!!! party:
Thanks Mel!

I don't know about ya'll, but I'm exhausted. I've been liquored up, kidnapped, poked, and now I have cooties.
:rotfl:

My mother & g'mom love Webkinz.
My kids love them, and for some reason, when they play on Webkinz they can all interact with each other for hours at a time without any fighting. Put them in the same room for the same length of time with a board games or toys and usualy they can last about 15-20 minutes before someone decides to push a button. :confused3

Almost done, but I hit the max image/smilie limit. I'll have to kick over to another post. ((faint)) - since I can't use any more smilies - ((rolleyes2)) LOL

The kids were driving me crazy yesterday. ds is usually well behaved, but lately having a little attitude. I made them both take naps yesterday. Today I am going to clean up and litte and we have a babysitter coming. We're going to dinner tonight for our anniversary, which is actually tomorrow.

I'll talk to you all later.
Bug has been like this too. I sometimes take him out in the car just so I can drive and he will sleep. Then Nana gets mad because she has to run in for arrends or wait in the car with him.

Everyday I feel more and more better. Still needing the steroid nebs. DS is doing pretty well. Thanks so much for asking. :)

No... but I do try to aim around when we have a day or two off. We seriously have days off of school just about every month! It is crazy! Fall break, workshops, conferences... on and on. 2010 would mean my ds would either be in 2nd or 3rd depending on when. 2nd is no problem, but 3rd is the big year for testing. Major priority for our school.

Don't blame you one bit! Glad the trip was great. Those were some interesting field photo's. ;)

_________________________________________

Another day of rest for me. DH says I can't come downstairs until he cleans... I'm scared! I am going to keep trying to do the laundry. It seems to be a great thing to do where I get to go back to bed and rest in between loads. :thumbsup2 We are getting a bug snow storm today. Never know if it is all hype, or if we really will get dumped on. I'll keep you posted.

Happy birthday Mr. T!
Hope not too much snow. Take it easy glad dh is going to clean up.

did not mean to get the hearts a racing... I do use coupons... and rebate checks while shopping at Wal-Mart which has the cheapest prices on most items. Milk has to come from Sam's club.. nearly a dollar cheaper on the gallon.

I had one time I took in 25.00 in coupons... bill would have been 125.00 .:thumbsup2

Yes I was so excited to learn how to shop for that each month. I even got out a notebook to take notes.
It seems the end of August works out best for everyone. BUT, it is so darn hot in August and hot makes me grumpy.

(Not that Sept is any different  )
We went once in early Oct. and I did not see were it was any better than when we went in late Aug. I figure atleast in Aug I do not have to do the whole speal about it being educational and please just let the kids out. Two years ago the school said no problem. Then when dd got back she had to make up the time in Satuday school :scared1:.

Wow! Six pages.... really?? In one night??? And there was no drunken Spanish either!!

So, we had a great dinner last night. We had bacon-wrapped, crab stuffed shrimp for an appetizer (yummy!), a filet for my entree (melt in your mouth), yummy mashed potatoes and snow peas, and creme brulee for dessert (heavenly). They also brought out a special anniversary dessert -- flourless chocolate cake. It was yummy, but really rich. I let DH have most of it since I was getting the creme brulee.

All in all, it was a great night! I posted some pics on FB. Then, I went and ruined it by weighing myself before going to bed..... let's just say that I'm starting my diet today....

Sounds like a lot of fun.
*****************************************
Well we had a great day of lunch out and shopping at the local Walmart. To help all those watching there weight, I sent salads on FB. It is time to go eat the yummy dinner dd made. Hope everyone has a great night.

Hi, all!

I logged on earlier this morning, started reading, had to do something else, and I don't think I have time to catch up. I spent all afternoon (free, btw - D took the kids sledding) messing with my iPod. Ever since I had gotten the newest version of iTunes, it wasn't syncing correctly, so I tried to fix it today. Wound up erasing it and trying to start over, where it would then sync about 4 songs, say it had an error, I'd push sync again, it would do 3-4 more songs, repeat, repeat. Finally it started giving me a "corrupted iPod" error, and suggested reformatting it (erasing it) again. Which I did, and now it won't do anything, and since I reformatted it first, I don't even have the songs on that I was doing 4 at a time.

Sigh. I really don't want to buy a new iPod right now, but I'm so addicted I don't know that I can go without one for long.

And Apple, which is supposed to be such a great company, has CRAP support online. You can't e-mail or live chat a problem, you just search through the database, and you can't call for free unless the iPod is 90 days old or less. Mine's coming up on 2 years... :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: I am unhappy.

I don't know what to do for dinner, it's after 5:00, and I've done nothing but a little laundry and the dang iPod all day.

Gotta go make dinner. I hope everyone's having a better day. I did read the last couple of pages, so I sort of know what's up. ;)
:grouphug:

Ok...everyone needs a Focker button---don't ask me how, just do it!
I'll run over there and see if you still need one. After all the multi-quoting, it's hard to multitask without messing up and deleting the tab where your accumulating your multiquote reply. :faint: Did that twice in the last hour. Now, I'm backing up to Notepad.

Just got home from selling Girl Scout cookies with DD7 around the neighborhood. It's not as cold as it has been, so we took advantage of the 42 degree weather to walk around the neighborhood. I think she's up to about 32 or so boxes sold, so we're doing well.
Both of our girls have been selling the last two days. :thumbsup2 One of them picked up Jenny's cell phone and, with supervision, started going through Jenny's contacts. The other did the same with the home phone. DD11 started going through the neighborhood yesterday. It's harder with both girls selling for different troops.

Okay, take a snapshot, I've got up on today. I should head over to FB for a little bit before I have to get my suit back on before the sitter arrives and Jenny and I head out for some dinner and dancing. party:

He will. When we got there he said you guys can just drop me off, you don't have to come in! :sad2:
Well there you go! :rotfl2:

The bridesmaids all wore red,
Mine too! :goodvibes

GO COLTS!!!!!
Really you can't say it enough! :cheer2: Surely that MVP award will count for something.

Actually it's been delayed, I'll let you know when you can all visit the site :rotfl2:
Right...:rolleyes1

His name was supposed to be Allen.. but when MIL saw the initals.. she quickly decided on Dean..( Allen Scott Smith)

Mitch is PMS but 50 years ago no one discussed such things. ;)

Wow times have changed since I was in school!

Very entrepreneurial. :thumbsup2

Jenny and I head out for some dinner and dancing. party:
Have fun!

Mel, the PBR starts tonight. It's very entertaining until whatever other sport comes back! :yay: And the bull riders are nice to look at as well. ;)

JenV, I'm making the wild rice soup. It smells wonderful! :thumbsup2

Yes I was so excited to learn how to shop for that each month. I even got out a notebook to take notes.

So sorry :upsidedow At that momnet my fingers were going faster than my brain... And it happens more and more lately.

According to last years #'s.. 2007 (have not done 2008 yet)
My AVERAGE on groceries was 350 a month... things went up a LOT THIS YEAR

O.k. because I can not stand to be with out something everyone else has I have joined FB. Thanks Kat for adding me as a friend.

:thumbsup2

2 years sounds about right. It is only a hard drive afterall and they dont last forever. If resetting it to the factory defaults don't do it then it may just be dead.

Tracy - I forgot to say yesterday if you need a game guide don't waste $ on one in the store- gamefaqs.com !!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MARY!!!!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
today we got a few things done, so i ma happy. My to do list got smaller! We had cable come out to look at the still not functioning properly internet and it turned out to be a bad splitter for the wires! At least it was easy and quick to fix.

Not much else going on today...eating leftovers for dinner and relaxing is the plan. I am going to soak in a nice hot tub with my new bath fizzies and relax! My back is still really mad at me and I am doing anything I can to relax and take it easy.

Hope everyone's weekend is going good!

I joined, now what do I do with this group?

Time to hit the Genius Bar. Do you have an Apple Store close by?
W

JenV, I'm making the wild rice soup. It smells wonderful! :thumbsup2
I hope you like it! I still owe Jo a list of ways to cook it. Note to self!

Still resting. Seem to have a "tummy ache" now. I just want to know when is this going to end????

DS is really in some kind of funk lately. Screams at us and his sister and is always being mean to his sister... always! He is driving me nuts. :headache: I know he is learning to "express" himself, but I no like it!

2 years sounds about right. It is only a hard drive afterall and they dont last forever. If resetting it to the factory defaults don't do it then it may just be dead.

Yeah, I know. I'm just sad - I use it on my alarm clock, in the car, as games for when I'm sitting around in the carpool line, etc. so I think it's a new one or I'll go nuts. Of course, I did want an iPhone, and although I had an 80gig, I only had about 14 on there, so maybe... If I HAVE to replace it... I just get a phone instead (I already use AT&T for cell service)... Hmmm. :rotfl:

Time to hit the Genius Bar. Do you have an Apple Store close by?

Sadly, no. The closest one is about 45 minutes away, in a mall I never go to. :headache: I may call over there tomorrow, though, to see if anyone there thinks it's even worth bringing in - I could go Monday during school.

I made skillet chop suey, and we're watching Toy Story 2. Woody is melting down every three minutes - time to end this vacation, I'm sorry to say. Too much fun and togetherness. ;)

I will have my DH look at what you wrote. He is a huge Mac freak and does know quite a bit. He did say that your memory should still be synced to the computer, so you shouldn't loose the stuff... well that is what I think he said. ;)

Good thanks, I'll have to wait and see how the public rate them though :scared:

You'll do fine, JO! :goodvibes

I'm surprised Katt, didn't pick up that comment...either that or she is ignoring me:rolleyes1

The wedding was very nice. The bridesmaids all wore red, but they all had different dresses:confused: They were all sleeveless and or strapless. I should mention that it is 30 degrees here and you could tell those girls were cold:eek: :sad2:

Huh, she had her Ipod on....:confused3

They are doing that here too! The wedding I missed (D'oh) had white dresses, but all different....

That is becoming very common nowadays especially as the bridesmaids usually have to pay for their own dress now. So long as they are a uniform colour and somewhat similar style.

Ah, see!

Yay! I love girl scout cookie season!

It is time to go eat the yummy dinner dd made. Hope everyone has a great night.

I need a teenager who cooks! :woohoo:

HI honey! I was gonna quote that you should try the factory reset but if it doesn't work, you may be needing a new one! (That was direct from SD who is the resident electronics expert!!) But, Kat answered the same thing below.........

Mel, the PBR starts tonight. It's very entertaining until whatever other sport comes back! :yay: And the bull riders are nice to look at as well. ;)

Thanks Angela.... I will look for it. I love me a guy in Wranglers...

Yeah, what Kat said.

Your's too, Kat. Hope your back feels better soon!

Maybe he is just acting out because you've been sick!? :confused3

*************

Wow! Busy afternoon here! Got both boys to lessons, home again, shower, laundry, and then out with Gus to Target.

Bought some household essentials, sweatpants for SD, and wrapping paper for .74 cents a roll! Whoo HOOOOOO! Gus TOTALLY didn't get what the big deal was. :sad2: I paid .24 cents for a bag of bows! I was psyched! Then we made a trip to Borders where I got 3 new books. The first Charlaine Harris (Sweet and Deadly) and two travel books. Yay! I am so excited to get my jammies on and read. Can't wait.

We got home right after Bob and SD. They had been out driving. SD has to complete 40 hours for his permit, to move to the next "level." Poor Bob. He said that SD was really scatterbrained and didn't slow down when he said to. He said he missed a stop sign completely, and was driving way too fast. Inside I'm laughing MY butt off! That's how Bob drives ALL THE TIME! But, he was less amused at it since it was SD doing it......:confused3
I decided that I didn't want to cook so we grabbed Gus and went out to the dive Mexican rest. we love. YUM! Chicken fajitas and a TON of salsa later, we're home. SD didn't want to go (he doesn't care for Mex. food) so we brought him a Subway sandwich!

Now I plan on getting my pjs on, putting the clean sheets back on my bed and reading till I get sleepy!

Hope you guys are having a good night!

MEL

OK, thanks. My stuff is safe in the computer, but the iPod won't do anything but say, "you need to restore to factory settings" when plugged in - even though I've just done that. But that only started after 3 hours of syncing a few songs at a time, then getting an error. I don't know if it was just mad and tired, or what? :lmao:

HI honey! I was gonna quote that you should try the factory reset but if it doesn't work, you may be needing a new one! (That was direct from SD who is the resident electronics expert!!) But, Kat answered the same thing below.........

Yep, nope. But, thanks to SD for trying. :goodvibes
