CE..thats scary!
even for down here! [/quote[
Yeah...
Basketball was good last night, I think I watched the mascots more than the game though oh and it was so unlike anything else I'd been too with lots of music to clap too etc!!! Still can't get over the car parking charge though, £25 which is about $40

Played golf today and won
Glad it was good, and congrats on the win!
Ah yes.. the whole "when good kids go bad" syndrome. I always wonder if they're "good" behavior is just a front. I mean kids just don't make up their minds one day to murder someone, KWIM? Or do they?
Yeah. Two of the four actually did have prior little misdemeanors, but for the most part, nothing too horrible. I don't know.
I'm sorry, I must have missed where you posted something was wrong with Linus. Hope it's not serious.
Well, there wasn't much, I didn't think. He was just due for his normal annual shots and so forth, but we noticed last week that he was drinking a lot more water than usual, but not going out any more or having accidents or anything. More below...
Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. My brother came through cardio cath with no issues. One artery was 99% blocked

THe docotr was amazed that he had no symptoms. They put a stent in and he is fine. He will be released tomorrow
My dad goes to Celebration Hospital at 2pm for his test. They are checking his circulation (putting things on his legs to check it???) Will update you on him when I get word!
Glad your brother is good, still thinking good things for your dad.
And fish... usually comes with the head attached. UH-UH!!
AND, I saved money toward that one by downgrading Halloween to CBR.
I win!!!
Woohooty!
It was a bit different to when I went to Wimbledon
I'd imagine!
CE: Too scary!!! I know what you mean though. Small towns don't usually have that type of violent crime. It's a shock.

I'm only "scared" in the sense that I don't understand the thinking, but it was shocking, too.

Well, I got the call on the labs from the vet. The dog shows mild Lyme - which isn't a surprise, we pick ticks off him all the time, even though we use the stuff to repel them - there are just too many around here. So, she's giving him antibiotics for that. No symptoms, though. The extra-thirsty thing made her think of a UTI, basically, and his labs on that came back with some elevated protein but no infection. She says he COULD have had an infection last week, which might indicate the protein, but if it's still high in a few weeks when we go back for the second Lyme vaccine (and after the antibiotics), she'll start thinking about something more like kidney issues.

I'm not going to borrow trouble, though - and he is 11, so problems aren't that surprising to me.
Anyway, I've also now napped and clean the bathrooms and just got the vacuum out, so I should do that fast before the bus comes. See you later!
