PSA: DISers with foggy brains due to sinus infections should not be allowed to contemplate resort changes, when said changes cost a whole lot more. Could someone talk me down from the ledge please? :rolleyes:

Don't do it...it could be extra riding lessons!

Holly didn't make it long at school. In fact she called as soon as she got off the bus at school. Her tummy and head were hurting.....and mouth. I don't know how fast go carts go, but crashing into a wall at full speed must give the body the same jolt as an auto wreck. :confused3

Oh no! Have you talked to the doctor
--------------------------------

I ran to CVS and picked up my presecription and then ran to Barnes and noble. I pocked up myself a couple of books and got Jimmy 2 new books on CD. A new Winnie the Pooh with 10 stories on it and another one called THe Mouse and the Motorcycle. 5 hours of stories!:thumbsup2

Off to grab something to eat. Check back later

Yes, she is. I love my Focker friends but Dawn holds a special spot. We're two of a kind.

::yes:: I love kittens. (UN)Fortunately, my boys are allergic.... :rolleyes1

Hello. I'm alive and sort of well. Got a HUGE patch over my right eye. I'm seeing Dr. Seigel later today to have him remove the patch and see how he did. It hurts right now, but not unbearable.

It's nice to have NotBob around to help out. I'm just resting and drinking my coffee.

Hope everyone has a good day. Sorry didn't quote more than this current page, it's exhausting to read. :sick: Thank you to everyone who was sending good thoughts.

MEL
Big Hugs Mel! :hug: The boys are not allergic to Cappuccino? thats a gud thing!:thumbsup2

Good morning. Boys are off to school. I'm doing :laundy: today. So, nothing real exciting. Jim has a meeting after school so I will pick Jimmy up from after school care and bring him home, do homework, etc. We are having leftovers for dinner so that's nice and easy:thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a great day!
I Janet! I quoted this but I cant remember why now. :confused3 :lmao:
I started my TR please go and read :goodvibes Click Here!
Okee dokee!!! :cool1:
LOL, I'M a very Italian family, too! But there just isn't time to defrost them in the sauce on weekdays, though that's my preferred method.
Silly me!! I almost forgot that your last name ends in a vowel! :lmao:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Careful what you wish for... I did, indeed, canter - but not by choice, lol! Wow, the horse I rode last night has some get-up-and-go and took off in a canter when I wasn't ready. I'll be honest - it scared me. A lot. My adrenaline kicked into overdrive and I kind of fell apart when I got home. :sad1: But it was a good learning experience; I've found that I've been doing some things incorrectly and my new instructor will help me fix that. :thumbsup2
Meanwhile, I've had a raging sinus infection for more than a month, which wasn't helping. My balance and vision are all off; I tipped over in the stupid shower this morning! Went to the clinic and am now armed with antibiotics, so hope is in sight.
Happy Tuesday all! :grouphug:
That is scary when it happens! been there! :scared1: like Janet said,,be careful with that sinus infection! Hope you feel better soon!
Do you really want us too? ;)
Um... can I get back to you on that?! :rotfl:
I'm afraid we are enablers. :cool2:
Why do you think I came here?! ;)
Umm... Let's see. Take an antibiotic and call me in the morning... :rotfl:Which trip? What are you thinking of doing?
:rotfl2: Thanksgiving. We're now at POFQ. With GRAMMA.
FIVE DAYS WITH GRAMMA!!!
I don't think we'll make it without a bigger space. :headache:
This is how bad I've got it: I'm not sure I even care! I'm totally at that "charge it and worry about it later" point. Maybe I'll win the lottery? :teeth:
Thanks for the reminder. :thumbsup2
Mitch got a good price on Priceline so he's flying to the football game. I'm really glad because 12 hours driving by himself is too long. Yes, I have become a worrier about him. :rolleyes: He got a call to say he's getting deployed next year. Because he's gotten this call before and not gone, I can't stress about it yet. Although my BIL asked me the other day if we heard anything about deploying, before we did. My sis says he's always asking her if I know anything. I do feel good that he cares. :goodvibes They are still looking at houses and my BIL wanted to know if they should look at more houses with in-law appartments. After M got the call, I texted them to say yes! :rotfl:Mitch wanted to know if he really went, would I go back to Memphis. No way!
Yes, it's too early to stress, but I probably would a bit too. :hug:
Meh. I think I'm coming down with something. :sick: My headaches and my throat is a little scratchy.
Great.
My 2 nephews are about to descend upon us for 4 days as my brother and SIL are heading to Vegas for a nerd Convention.
Maybe it's psychological. Maybe I'm secretly freaking out about having 4 kids and one semi-kid (Waldo) under 1 roof.
Time to bust open the wine. It's 5 o'clock in Disney, right? :teeth:
**************************************************
The kids had a good tennis lesson, and I burned up 300 some calories on the bike. :thumbsup2 Then I came home and ate a lot of spaghetti. :rotfl2:
Dinner was good, homework was easy, the kids read in the car so our reading's done... They are just hanging out watching Dirty Jobs before bed. I got some extraneous laundry done - stuff like the downstairs bathroom bath mat, the dining room table cloth, etc. that needed doing before MIL comes. I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms, mostly - D had to pick up tub cleaner for me, so that's not done yet - but the dining room table will be usable and things are looking pretty good! I dusted, but didn't vacuum yet, as I know the dog hairs will reappear.
The dog has the vet appointment at 9:00 tomorrow, but D has an all-day meeting so once I'm back, I'll have the house to myself, which is nice.
I hope everyone had a good day, and continues to have a great evening! :goodvibes
PSA: DISers with foggy brains due to sinus infections should not be allowed to contemplate resort changes, when said changes cost a whole lot more. Could someone talk me down from the ledge please? :rolleyes:
I tried. I really did. I'm TOTALLY the wrong person this week, but I'm usually good at talking you down...deep cleansing breaths....In with the good air, out with the bad air....
Book it, book it, book it....heh heh
Just a drive by...I'm paying some bills before we have some dinner and hang out together. Things are really good except for the large purple elephant in the room that I know about but KC is unaware of me knowing...make sense? I am pent up and getting fed up he isn't coming clean. I don't know what to do.
Busy week ahead with work and a few outings i have planned. Thurs is a day of rest tho! Hopefully I can catch up then!
Ok, so without naming names of certain other people whom most of you know...can I just say, "Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt". It has been my experience that if issue remains hidden, even after all the deep, soulful conversations have taken place, that it could very well be possibly still going on and there are probably feelings there...
Either way, it's still lying. :headache: It's going to eat you alive. I say come right out and say what you know. Who gives a crap HOW you know. Doesn't matter. Watch for the signs, look right in the eyes and see what the answer is. If you know a person long enough, you know the signs when they're lying. Tony for example, raises his eyebrows high enough so that they practically become part of his hairline. Dead give away. :sad2:
The anger is no way to start fresh. And obviously there's a level of trust that's either gone or is going quickly...
There are signs everywhere...you just have to be open to seeing them...:hippie:
S'late - :hug:'s for Holly...hoping for a speedy recovery!
Oops...boss is on the phone...gotta go to work....:mad:
Fine! here it is! :lmao::rotfl2:
=================
Hey all. Not a good afternoon here. GOt a phone call from mom and dad. Dad went for a stress test and they weren't happy with the results. He has to go to the hospital tomorrow for further testing.
THen, I got a phone call from my sister-in-law, my brother also went for a stress test and he has to go to the hospital tomorrow for more testing/procedure.
I won't be around becasue I am going to go pick them up and take them to the hospital. PLease keep them both in your thoughts. I'd really appreciate it!
I will check in when I get home tomorrow. DOn't know what time that will be. Have to pick them up at 5:45, which means I need to leave by 5:00am.
See you all tomorrow!
Oh man... here I am whining about my petty teenage problems and some of my Focker friends need :hug: :hug:
Angela - I'll be sending good mojo for you and Mooch. :hug: My nephew-inlaw is scheduled to go to Afganistan in Feb '10. His wife is due any day now.
Kat - ITA with LL. If it's one thing I've learned about men, is they'll take whatever damaging information to the grave. I'm not sure how damaging what you know that he doesn't know you know is, but if it's eating away at you, you really need to let him know. Ya know?
Janet - Sending lots of pixie dust east and south! :hug:
