Wow, good job they caught it :thumbsup2

::yes::

Janet: Glad DB's test came back ok.:rotfl2: Keeping fingers crossed for Dad.

Um, thanks. I'm guessing the ROFL smiley was an eyesight mistake!:confused3

Sorry if I missed anyone. I'm going to take some Ibuprofen. The sun is shining here but I can't go outside, drive or do anything! Grrrr.
Oh, and my baby left for 3 days of 6th grade camp. I'm missing him already.

Mel:banana:

Ugh, BTDT! I wish I could be there. I'd drive you out somewhere!~

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. My brother came through cardio cath with no issues. One artery was 99% blocked:eek: THe docotr was amazed that he had no symptoms. They put a stent in and he is fine. He will be released tomorrow:thumbsup2
That's great news Janet.

My dad goes to Celebration Hospital at 2pm for his test. They are checking his circulation (putting things on his legs to check it???) Will update you on him when I get word!
:thumbsup2

Well, I met the ledge halfway. ;) Moved up to an SSR studio, but not all the way to BC/YC. We'll be happier with some extra space, and SSR really is "home" for me; I'm happy in that place! :goodvibes
I can't wait to stay at the BC/YC. I had so hoped to get in there for January.
What about Jiko or the new place at AKV, Saana?
Crap, I forgot about Saana. We've eaten at Jiko, and as much as I loved it, I think I'm ready for something different. Oh and it wasn't THAT quiet. ;)
I went there in December and thought it was lovely, the food was delicious, the setting quiet and beautiful and the waiters loved my accent ;):rotfl2:
See? That sounds lovely! :cloud9:

FUN! I loved 6th grade camp! It was a great experience!

I'll have to check out bluezoo menu on allears, thanks.

Hey! Don't make fun of the visually challenged! ;)
:rotfl:

BTW, Janet, thanks for pointing me in the direction of that cruise TR. It has a ton of pics and the guy is REALLY entertaining! :thumbsup2

Thanks T

REally. It does not look very kid friendly, so I just assumed. I guess that why you shouldn't assume;)

Hey! Don't make fun of the visually challenged! ;)
:rotfl:

Only Mel and I can make fun of each other:lmao:

No problem!:thumbsup2

Meh. I think I'm coming down with something. My headaches and my throat is a little scratchy.

Great.

My 2 nephews are about to descend upon us for 4 days as my brother and SIL are heading to Vegas for a nerd Convention.

Maybe it's psychological. Maybe I'm secretly freaking out about having 4 kids and one semi-kid (Waldo) under 1 roof.

Time to bust open the wine. It's 5 o'clock in Disney, right? :teeth:

Wine will make everything better (or at least less painful) :rotfl:

Then I came home and ate a lot of spaghetti. :rotfl2:

My favorite

Hey all. Not a good afternoon here. GOt a phone call from mom and dad. Dad went for a stress test and they weren't happy with the results. He has to go to the hospital tomorrow for further testing.

THen, I got a phone call from my sister-in-law, my brother also went for a stress test and he has to go to the hospital tomorrow for more testing/procedure.

I won't be around becasue I am going to go pick them up and take them to the hospital. PLease keep them both in your thoughts. I'd really appreciate it!

Absolutely! I'm so sorry, I hope all turns out just fine!

. I spent too much time reading the local paper - a couple of towns over, 4 teenagers decided to rob a house, and if anyone was home, well, they'd just have to die. They killed a woman and nearly killed her 11 year old daughter - her husband was away on business. :sad2: Everyone kind of assumed it was a robbery gone wrong, but apparently, it didn't need to go wrong for this to happen. :sad1:

Sick, and sad. And very unexpected in a town that hasn't had a violent crime of ANY kind in over 10 years. Sigh.

That is so sad and so scary. Unfortunately, this kind of thing is everywhere now :sad2:

Think I'll take a look at off-site offerings in a bit...

Offsite???? :faint:

Ok, I need some Focker advice. My ADR window opens this week. I want to book something quiet and romantic for Andy and I. I'm thinking Artist Point or Bistro de Paris. Any thoughts? :confused3

Never been to Artist Point but Bistro de Paris was :thumbsup2.

JO: Outrageous parking fees! Glad you won tennis. :thumbsup2
Did you mean golf? ;):rotfl2: So which baby has gone? little one or big one?

Crap, I forgot about Saana. We've eaten at Jiko, and as much as I loved it, I think I'm ready for something different. Oh and it wasn't THAT quiet. ;)
It is when you sit in the private bamboo room :snooty::rotfl2:

Jess brought home a letter today for next years school trip. Her choices are Spain, France, Holland, Wales, Devon (bottom of England) or Surrey (about 45 mins away). She has chosen France as #1 choice and Surrey as #2 bit of a difference :rotfl2:

CE..thats scary! even for down here! [/quote[

Yeah... :(

Basketball was good last night, I think I watched the mascots more than the game though oh and it was so unlike anything else I'd been too with lots of music to clap too etc!!! Still can't get over the car parking charge though, £25 which is about $40 :faint: Played golf today and won :yay:

Glad it was good, and congrats on the win! :)

Ah yes.. the whole "when good kids go bad" syndrome. I always wonder if they're "good" behavior is just a front. I mean kids just don't make up their minds one day to murder someone, KWIM? Or do they? :sad2:

Yeah. Two of the four actually did have prior little misdemeanors, but for the most part, nothing too horrible. I don't know.

I'm sorry, I must have missed where you posted something was wrong with Linus. Hope it's not serious.

Well, there wasn't much, I didn't think. He was just due for his normal annual shots and so forth, but we noticed last week that he was drinking a lot more water than usual, but not going out any more or having accidents or anything. More below...

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. My brother came through cardio cath with no issues. One artery was 99% blocked:eek: THe docotr was amazed that he had no symptoms. They put a stent in and he is fine. He will be released tomorrow:thumbsup2

Glad your brother is good, still thinking good things for your dad.

And fish... usually comes with the head attached. UH-UH!! :crazy2: :rotfl:

::yes::

AND, I saved money toward that one by downgrading Halloween to CBR.

I win!!! :yay: :lmao:

Woohooty!

It was a bit different to when I went to Wimbledon :rotfl2:

I'd imagine! :rotfl2:

CE: Too scary!!! I know what you mean though. Small towns don't usually have that type of violent crime. It's a shock.

::yes:: I'm only "scared" in the sense that I don't understand the thinking, but it was shocking, too.

Well, I got the call on the labs from the vet. The dog shows mild Lyme - which isn't a surprise, we pick ticks off him all the time, even though we use the stuff to repel them - there are just too many around here. So, she's giving him antibiotics for that. No symptoms, though. The extra-thirsty thing made her think of a UTI, basically, and his labs on that came back with some elevated protein but no infection. She says he COULD have had an infection last week, which might indicate the protein, but if it's still high in a few weeks when we go back for the second Lyme vaccine (and after the antibiotics), she'll start thinking about something more like kidney issues. :guilty: I'm not going to borrow trouble, though - and he is 11, so problems aren't that surprising to me.

Anyway, I've also now napped and clean the bathrooms and just got the vacuum out, so I should do that fast before the bus comes. See you later! :grouphug:

Did you mean golf? ;):rotfl2: So which baby has gone? little one or big one?

I must have brain damage from all the pain medicine that they had to use on me. LOL
I did mean golf. :sad2:

Little one. He's hardly little anymore though....It's so sad when they grow up.

Glad I don't have to send him to France though! ;)

MEL

hi everyone. i am alive and well! just checking in briefly. i can't remember if i have posted since i've been back or not. isn't that sad?? i picked up some overtime, so between work and various issues at the old and new house, it's been crazy. hope all is well with everyone. update, anyone?

if i have posted since i've been back, not sure if i told you about the weird pool story.

and, if i posted already, i'm sure i told you how wonderful it was to meet mel, z, yani, notbob, dawn, angela and jo. i only saw jo, dawn, and angela briefly as they were eating breakfast and i didn't want to linger too long. it felt rude to stand there and watch people eat. i was trying to get there before everyone went into the restaurant, but i am always late. right, slate?? lol ( you know, i've just recently realized what sorul82 meant. duh. )

it was really nice to meet you guys person even if it was briefly. and time spent with mel and z was after a few (dozen) drinks , so i'm not sure how much any of us remember. lol! it was fun sitting at the poly laughing with you guys! and no, ,mike does not think you guys are weird! i wish he could have sat with us longer, but the kids wanted him to swim with them. kids, right? :rotfl2:

have to run pick up some dinner, take some uniforms over to mom's to dry, since our dryer bit the dust. then possibly work tonight. maybe i will catch up with you guys later in the week. take care and lots of

Rachel- It was great to meet you! You should have just pulled a chair up!:cutie: Also- You need a new picture in your siggie! I would have never recognized you! :rolleyes1

I would pick Wales!:thumbsup2

HOpe everything is ok!

hi everyone. i am alive and well!

Hi Rachel! :wave2:

------------------

Dad went for his test at 2pm. It was a circulation test. No results. He has to see the doctor on the 19th. I'm going with the theory unless we hear otherwise everything is ok:confused3

PIcked Jimmy up from after school care, went to his therapist appointment, picked up his shirt from the dry cleaners, and then stopped and got a slice of pizza for dinner. Came home, did homework, and then Jimmy watched some Spongebob before bath and bed. I took a shower and still have to pack lunches for tomorrow.

I have to go to a funeral tomorrow, so I probaly won't be around much in the AM. The viewing and the funeral are tomorrow. I think I am just foing for the viewing portion, but since someone else is driving I'm not sure. Since it is all work people I have ot play the "I can't drive yet" card;)

HAve a good night everyone!

Evening All !! I have been fooling with my photobucket looking pix and have decided it's Phil's fault !!!:rotfl2:

After requesting the 30th of work as I thought it would be Trick or Treat ,I find out it is on Saturday 31st !! So now I have to change that!! So much for my planning ahead!!!

Jo I had to laugh about France and Surrey !!!:rotfl2: Did she think it meant "Surrey with a Fringe on Top "and she was going to Oklahoma !!!!:lmao:

Morning, Fockers... :goodvibes

I'm excited I finally get to go back to bible study today. Every week I've either been out of town or had a hurt/sick kid.

So, the Mom's Panel round 2 notices still haven't gone out. :sad2: I was totally patient and not thinking about it until Tuesday. Now I check my e-mail several times a day hoping to se something. I had three e-mails for Disney in 24 hours, but not the "one". :lmao:

Have a good day, ladies. :grouphug:

Yeah. Two of the four actually did have prior little misdemeanors, but for the most part, nothing too horrible. I don't know.
I saw that on the scroll on CNN. How sad.

Well, there wasn't much, I didn't think.
Always good to hear that our pets are well.

hi everyone. i am alive and well! just checking in briefly.
It was so good to see you but next time we'll plan for a longer time! :goodvibes

Rachel- It was great to meet you! You should have just pulled a chair up!:cutie: Also- You need a new picture in your siggie! I would have never recognized you! :rolleyes1

Ditto!

I would pick Wales!:thumbsup2
Any of those places would be good for me. :thumbsup2

I'm going with the theory unless we hear otherwise everything is ok:confused3
I hope that's the case too.

At least you tried to plan!

So, the Mom's Panel round 2 notices still haven't gone out. :sad2:
 I wonder if anyone has heard.

Today's supposed to be another record high but that means I can still pool. :thumbsup2 We're getting a new back door so I have to be around the house anyway, so I don't have to get out in the heat. After living here almost 5 years, I am definitely a warm weather girl. ;) The low where Mitch will be is supposed to be 47 so we've been looking for warm clothes for him.
