Hi, Kristel!

Have fun at work.
***********************************************
Man.
Did some more vacuuming around the kids (so as not to keep/wake them up) and also got them through all the homework, haircuts, and showers, and dessert... Still haven't steamed, but I did want to make sure they were asleep before I started that as it can get loud. They generally can sleep THROUGH anything, but won't FALL asleep through noise.
I opened wine anyway. I know it's not the weekend, but truly it's medicinal at this point.

Quiets the cough, helps me sleep... Hey, I'll use it.
Then, MIL called and the flight that I'd checked on about an hour before it was to leave - and it looked fine then - is now not even scheduled to take off for over another hour (it was supposed to leave about an hour ago) and now their estimated arrival time is 12:29.

Our airport isn't quite tiny - remember where I grew up, though

- but I was a little concerned about the availability of cabs at that hour in a smallish airport. Even if they come when flights are scheduled in, at this stage I bet most of the people on the flight now need a cab. So, I've just called and arranged a car for them. Good deal, too - a Town Car for $35. D often pays $40 when he has to come home in a cab, so we're pleased! No charge for an extra person, either.
Anyway, she's telling me over and over to just go to bed, and since they probably won't actually be at the house until 1:00, I may just do that, though I feel bad. We'll see. Maybe if I steam, then doze on the couch, that would work.
I asked my tennis friend to play the fun class for me tomorrow - I had planned on going and dragging the ILs to the gym (they like it, it's fine) but with the dread disease, I think I should probably not go. So, the morning is clear - maybe we'll get the kids on the bus and go out for breakfast!
Have a good night, all!
