First I would like to thank all of you for your well wishes and good thoughts...

OK, the radiologist agrees his kidneys should not look like this, but it could be from an infection and there is indication in some of the early lab work that there is an infection present. All the blood and other lab work is not back. So we are going to start him on a very strong antibiotic tomorrow (Bonnie who is absolutely wonderful is going to pick it up in the morning and get him started on it at lunch time) Once the rest of the lab work is back next week,we will decide if we keep him on the antibiotics or go for more testing:headache:

One thing the radiologist suggested was maybe toxins, and then I remembered that when he was a year old that he was exposed to lawn pesticides because some dump a$$. I raced him to an emergency vet who did flush his system but who knows now:confused3

SO more waiting and no clear answers:mad:

I appreciate all your good vibes, thanks to all of you:grouphug:

FOCKERS RULE!!!!!!!!

SO glad he seems to be doing okay. You and your pugs will stay in my thoughts.:goodvibes

First, let me say how glad I am that you guys aren't pushing Quaaludes! :rotfl2: You are NOT very good "talking out of it" people. But, I think I'm jumping in with both feet! DH is saying DO IT DO IT too. So, tomorrow I will call my DVC "guy" and tell him to go ahead. Then we wait for the "approval" and numbers. He said I can have my member # and make reservations this week if it goes according to plan. I'm SKEERRED (as Goofylvr would say):scared1:
MEL

I was actually just looking at the prices on the resales at the timeshare store and they are not as high as I thought.

And hey, as a law enforement person I wouldn't push ludes...don't you know we get the GOOD stuff:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

(EDITED TO SAY - YOU ALL KNOW I AM KIDDING - RIGHT:confused3 :scared1: )

Why do you think my parents went a nd got PT jobs at Disney (besides the free tickets and stuff), they would have killed each other long before now if they hadn't:rotfl2:
Wow--I wish I could talk them into working there! Neither one has ever been.:sad2:

Wow its so quiet around here, DM where are you? I've seen you logged on but not posting here :sad1:

I helped at Guides tonight, 24 girls aged 11-14, I now need headache tablets :rotfl2: They're pretty good girls but I'm glad I don't run it :rotfl:
I know what you mean!
We were back to cheer tonite. I videotaped them so they could see the mistakes.......they thought it was hysterical! Dress rehearsal is tomorrow nite.

:wave2: Hi Jo, Its almost 10 p.m there, everybody ready for bed? Whats guides? is it like Girl Scouts?
I was thinking about DawnMaree today too..shes disapeared for a couple days,,,:confused3
I bet she's on some tomorrow--she's really having to limit her time. She told us to not send out a search party if she had to go AWOL at times! (well, we HAD threatened it!)

First, let me say how glad I am that you guys aren't pushing Quaaludes! :
:rotfl2: I think Disney is equally addictive!

I am still sick. DD and I both have 102 fevers, she is coughing, and I feel like i got hit by a bus. Fortunately, DS is well and at school.

Feel better soon, Angela. :goodvibes

CE - keep us informed about FLa.

Will do, see below... :sad2:

That's a big one. We do get a good handful of cold days, but it's nothing like a NH winter, that's for sure! What does he like about it? Winter sports (Skiiing, sledding, etc.) are about 8 hours away in northern GA and NC.

That's not so bad. He does love skiing, but heck, we both grew up in very, very flat IL - we know how to travel to ski. :rolleyes1

Today marks 6 days till we leave. I am trying to find new things to do to kill the time, but frankly I am so bored I could spit! I just have to finish all my packing today. I mostly have to fit things in the suitcase and try not to over pack for myself . Then I'm going to make some stuffed pork chops for dinner. KC says he is anniv gift shopping today after work (our anniv is during our trip) but we'll see if he remembers.

Anyways I';m off to do something LOL. Have a good one one all!

Did you get to go shopping? Get anything good? popcorn::

I'm not doing well - I'm beyond the hammered poo stage. This cold is down right NASTY! Went to the Dr. this morning - tons of prescriptions - trying to avoid Bronchitis, you asthmatics, KWIM. I've got to get ready for work - chat with you later, I hope!

Oh, T, feel better soon.

I posted on your PTR, but I'm hoping the antibiotics help and you get some concrete answers soon. :goodvibes

And thanks again for all the well wishes on the eye thingy. It's doing pretty good today. Still red, but no weird stuff. Poor little N was home today with a sick tummy. He made me paper airplanes all day!

Glad it's doing well. :goodvibes

MEL

I'm with you. Wound up going to a playgroup mom's house for "mom's night in" and got home and poured some wine. We had fun, but argued politics and religion. No one left mad, which was good. :goodvibes I'm really tired, though.

(EDITED TO SAY - YOU ALL KNOW I AM KIDDING - RIGHT:confused3 :scared1: )

Sure... Whatever you say... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Hi everyone!

Well...

D got home not until after dinner last night. He was wiped out from not sleeping and the drive home in the dark and rush hour and snow, so we didn't talk. I was so stressed last night, I kid you not, I was so tightly wound that I was quivering in bed. :sad2: I didn't fall asleep until about 2:00, then he woke up at 5:00 and couldn't go back to sleep. We're a heck of a pair.

So, we got the boys on the bus this morning and talked. M called D yesterday and asked if he had a resume ready. D just keeps saying, "I don't know, I don't know." His main sticking points seem to be remaining at 1) living in FL - he doesn't want to move every few years, so doesn't know if he wants to "spend the rest of the boys' school life in FL"; and 2) worried about the work needed to sell our house.

I just said that while I know I appear to be taking the "pro" side in all this, I really just want hm to be happy, not trying to push it, and if living in FL wouldn't make him happy, well...

But, I can admit to you guys what I can't say to most people - that I am starting to get excited about the idea and might be disappointed if he really wants to stay. :confused3 Why, I'm not sure. There's only a couple of reasons for me to WANT to move, and those are him being less stressed, and being done with snow for a while.

In the midst of our talk, he got a message that he will be having a trip not this weekend, but next, to Vero Beach (and yes, they usually stay at the DVC there) which is just up the road from M's house. He ought to have a chance to get to Palm City/Stuart, which is what we're looking at. Whether that will have an effect, I don't know. But, it's good timing, I think.

Then, after our talk, it was time to pick up the boys and he wanted to go office furniture shopping. I don't know if that was a signal that he's not looking to move or if he thinks it would be good for selling the house, or if he's just not thinking that way at all! :rotfl:

One of the playgroup moms was missing her DH (who's traveling for a week - she's not used to it as I am) and asked us over. So, by the time I got home an hour ago he was asleep on the couch and nothing more has been said.

I probably just need to let it go for a while, but it's the biggest thing in my head right now, and it's hard. And, as I've mentioned, I'm not sure why I'm so "pro move" if you will... Sigh.

And, I think that he really doesn't know what to do, so I know it's not the time to ask for an answer. I do think I might be downplaying what a big decision it is, yet I do think he might be better off. Yet, I'm not unhappy here in NH and don't need to go. ACK!!!!!

Thanks once again for reading, or listening, or whatever. It's so nice to have folks to bounce stuff off of that are more neutral - the ladies tonight were sweet in that they would miss me, but therefore being fairly negative. ;)

:grouphug: to everyone. I need some sleep. See you tomorrow.

Miss you too T. Hope you feel better soon!
Hope you're feeling a bit better today T

Jo, I have you LGMH's in an envelope and ready to go. I just have to get 3 minutes to get to the Post Office:thumbsup2
Thanks :flower3:

Do it! Do it!!!!

Wow CE that was an essay ;) I would be like you too so excited but confused all at the same time also wanting to get an answer out of DH. I think you need to tell D exactly how you feel the for's and against's. It will work out and I'm sure you'll be happy whatever you decide, you'll always have us and look at how far apart we all live :goodvibes

I'm waiting in for the fence man, he said he was coming today but not what time :headache: I've tidied, dusted, even emptied the crumbs out of the toaster and cleaned Jessica's football boots :rotfl2:

JO: You over-achiever! I'm having tea. Just got one DS off to school and the next one will be up in 15 mins. He doesn't have to be at school till 9:00 am. Which is lovely, I must say. If it weren't for the getting up with the other one at 6:15 am!!!! Oh, and I haven't seen Jen in ages either. I hope its not because Jon has any issues going on.

CE: OH, I totally know what you're going through. It's not easy to be the spouse in these things. We moved 6 times in two years (that was the first two years of my oldest DS's life) and my DH was travelling all week in each location. So, pick up, move, leave all friends (mine and kiddos), new apt., new drs, etc., make new friends, then REPEAT. Ugh. :scared1:

Moving is great, but when you aren't the one with the big decision to make and they aren't SHARING it's hard. You have my utter and complete sympathy.

JO's right. We do live far apart now, but you still have us. :dance3: Lucky you!

Well everyone, I am calling Mr. DVC today. I slept on it and I'm good. The worst that could happen is that we go to WDW every single year for our whole lives.....wait. That's not the worst. OK. :rotfl2:

Check you Fockers later!!

Thanks for understanding. I truly think he just doesn't know what he wants to do, which is why he's not sharing - not that he doesn't WANT to talk.

Yes, I paid $84 or 85 per point at BWV, I went through the timeshare store. My seller thought took forever to return the signed contract though.

Hey everyone. I had every intention of trying to catch up but now I just can't. I was sick with a GI illness that wiped me out for a couple of days. Then there was a death of a friend of the family. To top it all off, yesterday we get a call that Rob's uncle was rushed to the hospital and is now on a ventillator. They were waiting for the son to drive in from New Jersey and then they were going to stop life support. Most of the family gathered at the hospital last night. Picture a huge Italian family all there. That was the nicest part of it knowing how much everyone cares. We left the hospital at around 7 pm last night and haven't yet heard if he passed yet. So, 2 funerals coming up. :sad1:

And my brother's 40th birthday is tomorrow. His wife is throwing him a surprise party on Saturday. Hopefully, everything will work out with timing.

So, I'll be on and off today but mostly I just feel like sitting on the couch and reading. I just wanted to check in with you all. Sorry to bring anyone down. I'm sure I'll be the same old DM you all know and love next week!

::yes:: I have another recommendation - if you haven't already, spend some time on this thread. It'll give you a good idea as to what prices are making it through Right of First Refusal.

So, I'll be on and off today but mostly I just feel like sitting on the couch and reading.
 I'm so sorry DM. And don't you dare feel badly about sitting on the couch for a day - we ALL need that now and again!
