We just escaped getting shut down for 24 hours, apparently all threads over 10,000 are being "hidden" whilst they do some work on the boards

Yesterday was so odd; things were loading for me OK, but when I'd try to post, it went to a standstill...

We are headed out of town today for B's dance competition. She dances at 3:40 today. I just finished doing her hair and make-up. Now I need to do my own stuff and pack us up for an over night.

I too understand Jo. I watch a lot of BBC, and read lots of Brit lit though so I am used to the lingo. I was raised watching Corrie with my mum.

A new thread might be a good idea, I think I remember reading somewhere that they were thinking of putting a limit on thread length and if it gets too long they will shut it down. Don't remember where I saw that though.

CE, the ski weekend sounds like a lot of fun. I haven't been skiing in 10 years.

We are off tomorrow to WV--had our last practice tonite and the girls were jumping and chatting......think 9 little girls on mega-caffeine. I feel really sorry for the other people booked at our hotel tomorrow nite.
