Hi all,

Boring day of work is over. Dinner is done. Jimmy is watching the Nija Turtles and I thought I'd check in real quick to se what is going on.

Z- Welcome Back. Can't wait to read about your trip.

CE - I heard about Heath Ledger on the radio:sad2:

Wheres Angela Been? :confused3 Camelotcats come out and play with us!! princess:

I have been sick...I got whatever it is the kids and HHBG had. DD was up all last night puking. Fortunately, she's better than her brother, and mostly got it all in the bathroom....note: I said Bathroom, not toilet. :headache: I literally got about 45 minutes of sleep last night, on top of a raging upper resp and sinus thing, so I have been miserable. HHBG got home to see me and DD passed out in our bed with DS at the foot of the bed watching Toy Story 2. He didn't say anything, just called for pizza and put away the salmon I had put out to cook.

Well, I'm getting dizzy, so back to bed for me. Hope everyone else is well. I will try to catch up eventually.

Oh, no! I hope you feel better soon!

Just scanned real quick.

I'm 41 too:thumbsup2

I won't even try and out task anybody, I surrender, where's the white flag.

Ok, we are back from the Vet...

Bladder was ok, BUT

Something doesn't look right with his kidney's. Lots of big and scary words. From what I could understand the ultrasound showed that there are 2 parts to the kidney a light and dark part, that should be equal in size. In Namath the dark is much larger than the light part (he doesn't have much of the light part). So after trying to explain all this to an accounting geek, we decided that a radiologist should take a look and that it would be best to do a full ultrasound of all his organs to give the radiologist as much info as possible. They also did a blood panel to get some readings regarding the kidneys. Oh and he was catherized to get a sterile urine sample.

So $908 later I really don't know anything. All results should be in by tomorrow afternoon.

Thank God Bonnie was with me, she was asking questions when my eyes glazed over.

Poor Namath had to have his belly shaved so now he has a nekkid belly.

Needless to say I don't know if I will get much sleep tonight.

Oh and using FDM, since I charged it on the Disney Visa, that $908 turns into $45 Disney dollars with the special that Chase is running with earning 5x the rewards through March. At this rate Namath will pay for my August trip:sad2:

I am glad the results will be in tomorrow, though.

The FDM is a good way to look at the bright side. :goodvibes

I'm sure you meant boring except for being entertained by me! :flower3:

Angela- feel better soon. I've been super sick too. It's no fun!

Mo- I mentioned you on my update I'm posting tomorrow.
Also- I hope you can get some answers soon. I know it's hard to have a sick baby. :sad1:

I just posted on your trippie, I just read the last 2 installments;)

Hi all, I'm back! Yes, we did make it to WDW, and weren't sick at all, thank all that is Mouseish. I only made it through the last two apges of the thread, so fill me in on anything I missed, but I did see this:
Although it was very fun it was a pretty unproductive tour of the World.

Yu-up, that pretty much sums it up for me, too! :rotfl: Glad I got to see you Z, if only for a couple minutes!

I can't say a lot here because 90% of our trip involved Lauralee and Michael (see, I'm already giving stuff away!) and I don't want to mess with her TR. But I will comment on a couple things that annoyed the heck out of me and dramatically affected our trip:

1. Brazilian tour groups. Brazilian tour groups. Brazilian tour groups. They were everywhere, hogging up lines and food places. they weren't particularly obnoxious, but made for an excess of people in otherwise uncrowded parks.

2. Cheerleaders. I checked into ASMu and found our room... next to a giant tent full of cheer competitions. I was worried, but there was no ill behavior late at night. They also added to crowds in the parks, though.

3. DDP is the bane of my existence. I'm sorry - I know some you guys really love it and you aren't the problem. It's the other 95% of DDP users that are making me want to stick forks in my eyes. No one knew how it worked. No one understood TS vs. CS credits. No one knew the difference between adult and child meals. No one knew you needed ADRs. How do i know this? Because I stood in line... after line... after line listening to them ask the CMs how to order. :headache:

Sorry, I can't share anything else - go read LL's TR when she gets back! ;)

Mo,   Hope Namath's news is okay.

Welcome back V.:goodvibes

I sure hope those Brazilian tour groups are gone by the time I get there.

I love my DDE card:thumbsup2 and based on your post, I think my servers will too!

Thanks for the thoughts on Namath.

Hi Puggymom Will I see you there ?

Welcome back V! Happy to hear that you two were not sick on your trip.

Mo, I am so sorry about Namath.

CE, I heard about Heath as well. I was so shocked that when they announced it on the news I screamed "What!!!????" :scared1:  at the tv. I was just so shocked.

OK fockers!!!!!We leave on Sat for our trip. I cant believe its almost here. I have to pack!!!!

Playgroup was fun. We had 7 twins (one was "grounded")
That sounds so funny to have an odd number of twins, so what had the grounded one done? :rotfl2:

It started snowing around 3:30.
Snow :yay: :yay: :yay: ;)

Aww, man, Heath Ledger died! I liked him. :sad2:
Saw that on our news this morning something about pills

I have been sick...I got whatever it is the kids and HHBG had.
Oh Angela get better soon

Bladder was ok, BUT
Hope the rest of the results come back OK and looking on the bright side with the FDM :thumbsup2

Welcome home V and Leo, can't wait to read all about it, I'm sure there was a little alcohol involved seeing that you met LL :rotfl2:

Woohooo have a great time T :goodvibes

Morning Jo! Got your Twinings? :surfweb:

T: You are so lucky! Have FUN! :cool1:

Angela: That sounds awful. Feel better soon!

Mo: Here's hugs for you and Namath.

CE: Any talks w/ D?

Well, everyone, I think we're going to take the DVC plunge. What's weird is that I've been trying to talk DH into it for 6 years and I'm the one who's apprehensive. Just worried about committing to a 300+ monthly payment. D's job is good but that's a commitment. I don't know why I'm so worried. We go every year, and I scramble to find the OUT OF POCKET money to do it. (which is in a lump sum) This is just like a forced savings plan...and I probably spend more than that a month on lunch out and pedicures! Oh, talk me down Fockers! :scared1:

Mel I don't drink tea  I know I'm English and don't drink tea :faint: :rotfl2: I've just had lunch!!!

I don't really know about DVC but everything I've read has only been good :goodvibes

I guess she's been having a bad attitude and home, and then even at school. They tried time outs and taking away dessert, but it wasn't doing much. So, they took away playgroup. :lmao:

It ended up quitting fairly soon and just being a dusting. :thumbsup2

CE: Any talks w/ D?

Just a bit. He was really tired. He said M called back yesterday, though, so he's got to talk to him again (he was at lunch when M called.)

I think his biggest thing right now is the "living in Florida" bit. He really likes winter (crazy, I know ;) ) and seasons and so forth. I showed him some houses in our price range, and he thought a couple were nice.

The upshot is that I think he's still thinking about it - but not sure where it will go. That's fine. I just kind of want to know! :rolleyes1

That's exciting!

If you go every year, I don't see why not - if you have the monthly payments, of course. ;) Good luck!

Glad you all weren't sick:yay:

1. Brazilian tour groups. Brazilian tour groups. Brazilian tour groups. They were everywhere, hogging up lines and food places. they weren't particularly obnoxious, but made for an excess of people in otherwise uncrowded parks.

DId they change the time of year they visit. July was brutal the one time we went. THe tour groups were everywhere, and it was during World Cup:scared1:

2. Cheerleaders. I checked into ASMu and found our room... next to a giant tent full of cheer competitions. I was worried, but there was no ill behavior late at night. They also added to crowds in the parks, though.

Sounds like they were much better behaved than the football players during the Pop Warner Tournament.

I am so dying to get DVC. I had actually almost had Jim talked into it, but financially we just can't do it right now. COngrats!

:thumbsup2

You both have been keeping me entertained:goodvibes Does this mean extra focker points for sucking up:angel:

Glad your mom is starting to feel better. I know how she feels. When I am home for any length of time I go stir crazy unless I have something to do. When I was on maternity leave I was ready to come back to work, needed grown up interaction, KWIM?
Yeah good suck up!

And I think my dad is driving mom nuts.....she is reconsidering the whole "early retirement" idea!
I'm taking her to lunch if the weather holds out today.

Ok, we are back from the Vet...

I was wondering about the cheer groups but I heard they were all Allstars and CBR (course, it wouldn't bother us anyway since we'll be one of "them" this weekend!)
I wish she was going to WDW too--but Myrtle will be nice!

V--can I use 17 snack credits to pay for this meal???;)

8 days!
