I'll keep posting more Hoff pictures till y'all come around! (or Pamela pics for DM!)

That's scary even teeny-tiny like that! I'm with DM on this one. He's too creepy.

This is cracking me up. You ALL KNOW that I am not that way....(not that there's anything wrong with it). Just the thought of David Hasselhoff makes me want to throw up! I mean, come on, can't we have another strip searcher? Please? Like Rob Thomas? I would pay double for him!!! :thumbsup2
Nope! Gotta be the Hoff (and WHERE IS d4est who started this whole Hoff thing--anyone seen her???)
The GOOD news is that I found a Halloween greeting you can use--feel free to add to your siggie--cause it took me 35 minutes to add the dag-gone pumpkin....:headache:

Thank you for posting this TE.

I remember this morning distinctly and I always want to remember it. Evan had just turned 2 and Alec was 1 day shy of 2 months old. I always had the TV on kiddie shows but for some reason, maybe some sort of sign, I turned it over to the Today Show. Remember, I never had done this before. I saw the smoke from the 1st tower and they still did not know what was going on. Then live in front of everyone the 2nd plane hit. I was holding Alec. I was glued to the TV that morning with tears in my eyes wondering how I could have brought these precious children into a world that is taking a turn like this. It was a very tearful day for me and for many....

I was at work and my friend walked up to my desk and said she was in the "war room" (seriously we had a room called this and people sat in there and watched the weather and news all day, as they worked so they could be prepared for any events that might affect the company.) and saw it happen. It didn't register with me at first and she repeated herself. It was a sad day.

I remember my BF's grandma coming in and waking us up, telling us to put on the TV. It took a while to realize what was happening.

I worked at a mall in Battle Creek and was setting up for a sale. There were several stores that did not open that day because their HQ was in the Towers. I thought it was sad and pathetic when someone would come in to shop and complain they could not get into the closed stores. One lady was mad and said it was no excuse to be closed. When they finally closed the mall I was so happy I just wanted to get home to my dd. I got her from school and just sat and held her in our living room for hours.
Thanks T.E. for the post and letting us share our memories. My heart goes out to all who were directly effected by the events.

I was actually doing a "test day" as a final interview for a job - we'd only been in NH for a couple of months. It was an orthdontist's office and there was NO TV, and the internet was jammed. We were all really confused and getting everything second hand... I went home at noon as scheduled - needless to say, I didn't learn much about the office that day.

D. was in Denver and they didn't even let the private jets fly for several days. I knew NO ONE here, so though I know it can't compare to people directly affected, it was a very scary and lonely time. One good memory, though, is that when he did come home, we were very happy to finally be seeing each other, and 32 weeks later, some twins were born... :rolleyes1

Thanks for the reminder, TE.

How the heck does Jo get her photopass before Tracy????
I know crazy isn't it :confused3 I ordered mine a day later and it was international postage but it get's here earlier  Maybe as I pre-paid I was thought of as a better customer ;) :rotfl2:

I'm sorry, WHAT????? :rotfl2:
I know CE I'm going to be all golfed out this week :rotfl2: And if today was anything to go by I'll be worn out from all the shots I've taken :rotfl2:

Here is a picture from Stitch's Birthday Party at the zoo yesterday.
I love how we all think of each other outside the DIS, now Janet would you ever have posted a photo of a goat before you met TE? :rotfl2:

We had the best time EVER on our trip. We both agree this was our best WDW vacation
Glad you had a great time, TR, TR, TR :rotfl2:

When did you send in your postcards? I have sent in 100 since the begining of April (usually 2 a day) and so far only DBF has won the lanyard (DisneyWorld version). I hope we win the ears.
I haven't sent any for a few months, it seens the prizes take ages to come through, good luck :goodvibes

I know it didn't effect us here in the same way as you although we all felt it hard over here too. I was sitting watching a daytime soap (about 2pm) playing on the floor with Ellie as she hadn't started school yet when it came on screen, DH used to teach a little boy who lost his Dad on that day. :sad2:

Did you celebrate by any chance :rotfl2:

Okay - TR is coming soon, but I am sick right now and trying to catch up on everyone else's TRs. How will anyone have time to read mine when there are so many good ones out there right now?

You are a good writer and funny! There is one part of my trip that is soooo funny, it is worth everyone's time just to read about. And I have a photo to back it up.
