We secured our Lightning Lanes for our park day (Next Saturday) and got every ride we wanted with excellent times! Was nervous with spring break crowds but we had success
We are flying to Orlando tomorrow morning. The weather forecast shows a rain-free five days for us. I am still packing umbrellas and cheap ponchos, just in case. Let's see if the forecast can be correct - for a change.
We leave for our drive down in 6 days. Crowds are usually ridiculous when our spring break falls around Easter. I’m hoping they’re not too bad. We never buy MPLL, but will get LL for Guardians and Tron. I hate that APs need to wait longer to buy.
We arrived in Naples Thursday and the weather has been gorgeous. A little breezy but sunny, warm, and not humid. It’s been a nice relaxing time before we head to Disney on Monday.
We did too! Biggest surprise is even 5 days into the trip there are no morning slots for Buzz. I know it just reopened and will be popular for a while, but I expected by the 5th day there would be some morning availability! Oh well, everything else was easy to get, so hopefully some morning slots open up at some point.
I enjoyed the Swan Reserve. It definitely feels like a place that is more geared towards adults which I like - it was definitely quieter. The rooms are nice and still feel pretty new. The bathrooms are spacious with really nice showers. I don't love a barn door but the lock works well. There is a lack of drawer space but the storage space for luggage under the bed is handy. The floor to ceiling windows are really nice. We had an EPCOT view and it was pretty spectacular. There are a ton of outlets for all your recharging needs. There are five (!)speedy elevators and we never waited more than a few seconds. Service was great. It's a bit of a longer walk for sure. We walked over to Boardwalk for the Magic Kingdom bus for the morning but used the Swolphin bus in the afternoon to ride back to the TTC because we weren't worried about the time and were going to stop at the Poly on our way back to the Kingdom. We lucked out and only waited a few minutes for bus.
GEO-82 was a great experience. Spendy for sure but the place looks chic and we enjoyed the food and drink. The cool, scented towels to clean your hands when you arrive is a nice touch. Definitely an elevated feel and nice break from the crowds.
Beak and Barrel I'm torn on. We were seated in the side room and had to share a table and the view wasn't good. We enjoyed the food and cocktails. But if I went back I would want better seats.
So many ride closures throughout the day at Magic Kingdom. It was really frustrating. Tron is super fun but waiting so long for a ride that short is a bummer.
We got back from WDW on Thursday. We had fantastic weather. There wasn't any rain at all. We didn't think that the crowds were too bad.
We were on Test Track when it stopped, and we had to be evacuated. Lucky for us it was just after we had finished the ride but before it hit the unload area. We were given lightening lane passes for any ride except Guardians. We ended up using it for Remy.
