Good to see you are back and yes we have had lots of fun. As a matter of fact we now have a goat expert. So any of those pesky goat questions can now be answered in a professional manner.

Okay - TR is coming soon, but I am sick right now and trying to catch up on everyone else's TRs. How will anyone have time to read mine when there are so many good ones out there right now?

I for one will make room - it's easier when I get in at the start, though. I'm still trying to read some PTR's (DisneyDad, for one) that I'm so far behind on... Then it gets so daunting... So, when you start, post in your signature and here, please!

I for one have noticed that Disneydad has been falling down on his suck up duties. I think his Pre TR has gotten out of control and caused him to have a BIG ego.

I know it didn't effect us here in the same way as you although we all felt it hard over here too. I was sitting watching a daytime soap (about 2pm) playing on the floor with Ellie as she hadn't started school yet when it came on screen, DH used to teach a little boy who lost his Dad on that day.

I think it affected the whole world.
Isn't it strange how our brains stamp a memory of exactly where we were at that time? (My mom says she remembers when she was told that JFK died and I remember where I was when the Challenger exploded--at home on a school snow day....)

Anyway, I think it's important to remember. As far as celebrations, the high school did a moment of remembrance but BAs school did not (she was only 4 at the time and really does not remember it directly).

O.k. if it is not to much trouble and since a lot of the time I feel like I am on the outside looking in because of this. Could those of you doing TR please post links. It seems I am missing a whole other side of all of you because I do not read them on a regular basis. The only on I have really read is Princess V's and even with her not getting to the good stuff yet I am so jealous of you ladies that got together. I read on the board a lot off and on during the day and I seem to have over looked a really great part of the boards.

It sure did make a big impact on flying for the whole world. That morning I had just gotten back from jogging because I couldn't sleep and my alarm went off as I was getting back and when the song ended the DJ announced that a plane had struck the WTC. I didn't know what the WTC was, so I turned the TV on and it was on all the channels, but I think my TV was on NBC and I see the Twin Towers which is how I knew them to be called. I was glued to the TV the rest of the day. So many emotions ran through me that day and I could just imagine for those who had loved ones in that area or who lost them must've felt like they were in a complete nightmare.
