I'm so glad the realtor thing is done. We were going to list the house Monday, but I think we'll wait until Thursday so Kirt can have a bit more time to finish things.

I can't really chat now, but I saw the thing about Z snacks. What about Zucchini bread or zoo animals (those frosted cookies)?

:goodvibes

Glad you got the realtor out of the way and you can keep moving foward.

Thanks for the ideas! :thumbsup2 Like the zoo cracker idea.

LORI: I have a great recipe for Zucchini Bread that uses applesauce instead of oil (which most recipes for Z. bread have a TON of...). Let me know if you want to go this route.

Thanks Mel! I did find a chocolate zucchini bread recipe on allrecipes.com that sounded good. Lindsey wasn't too convinced though. LOL I plan on making it tomorrow to see how it goes and if it doesn't work you and Dawn have both given me some great other ideas!

Do you have a recipe for Banana Nut Bread though? I looked all over recipes.com and couldn't find one I really liked and I know I've made it before but just can't remember where I got the recipe from. It might have been from you if you had posted it before? :confused3

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Thats a bit better. Sorry to run on. Thanks A LOT for listening. I'll be in and out in between cleaning.[/COLOR]

Vent away but how frustrating! hope tomorrow goes better!

No TV for me. The girls have it monopolized. :happytv:

You too, huh? I would say 95% of the time its the same way in our house. LOL

Anyone else feel that it just not fair losing an hour of sleep tonight?

YES! I put the kids to bed a little later hoping that when they get up it won't be too bad. We'll see how that plan works out. :rotfl:

And still sorry I'm not posting much........I've been on my yahoo goat support group a lot lately--the ladies are helping me get Sugar feeling better....she's still really sick. :(

 I'm sorry to hear that.

But then, it was 50, it was sunny, life is good. So... :goodvibes

I hope for a hugely lazy day tomorrow! :thumbsup2

Glad you had a good day and that stinks about the boots. :headache:

Enjoy your lazy day tomorrow!

My kids seriously drive me nuts! I love them to death but some days I just wonder what they are thinking. :rotfl:

We went to Walmart this afternoon. It takes about 15 minutes to get there and the entire ride all I heard was Lindsey, 'Mom, DR's looking at me!' 'Mom, DR's touching me!' 'Moooooooo-oooom! Make DR stop!' I was ready to pull the car over and head back home right then.

We then get to Walmart and they both start tossing things into the cart and touching things like crazy. Lindsey was the worst and I'm like child you are acting like you have never been in a grocery store before in your life! Then they both start running up and down aisles. I don't mind if they wander a couple of feet away from me, but when I'm at the beginning of the aisle and they are at the end about to go around the corner, NOT cool! Especially in Walmart on a Saturday afternoon. :sad2:

I finally got sick of it and left my cart there and we left. That was the most quiet my car has EVER been! :lmao: We got home and I made them clean their toy room and man they hopped right to it. I think I should try this more often! I felt like such a bad mommy though but I'm hoping they learned a lesson on this one.

To finish off our night though we took a walk around the neighborhood. I wanted to see how long it would take me to walk to DR's school and it wasn't bad at all. 15 minutes...so really doable. And that's with the 2 kids and a dog. So hopefully come M/W/F I will be able to walk DR to school and exercise not only my butt but our little fat doggy, Barbee. She resembles a pot bellied pig. And then on Tues/Thur I can walk to pick Linds up at her school. I'm taking our black lab with me on these walks because she can pull me up the hill. :rotfl: I'm excited to get in shape though! :)

Night everyone!

Good Morning Sleepy Fockers

Got about 30 minutes before we have to leave for church. Normally I am there at 8:30 today Sarabeth has to be there BY 8:00 and I've LOST AN HOUR OF SLEEP... so it's Like having to be there 2 hours early for the rest of the people for me only an hour and a Half

Maybe I can pop in after church for a minute

I'll help you any way I can, Jen. Kirt's whole family lives there and we're just 15 minutes north of there. Hey! Wanna buy a house? ;)
When we moved, I didn't want to go into San Antonio, so we ended up here. There's another nice little area near here too. What area/district is it?

Um... hello? :confused3 ;)
Moi! :cutie:

okay , i was really confused. you live in san antonio and you're moving to san antonio, but it's an hour away??? i'm lost!!!

v-- i didn't get the disney 13 thing at all!! explain???

hi everyone. all around. just got done with work. busy night! i usually don't work sat, but i picked it up for double time! wooo whooo!

can't remember if i told you or not, but i officially booked. flights to the beach. hotel at the beach.. and i found rental mid size suv for 37.99 /day. it worked out to 190 for 4 days after fees and everything.

I live a little north of San Antonio. I didn't want to live in SA because it's nicer and quieter here. I'm moving back to Austin around June. Make sense? :goodvibes

I'm awake. The kids just woke up. It didn't set the clocks ahead in their room or they'd think it was time to get up at 7. So, I'll fix them later today. ;) I'm just sitting here thinking we have nothing to eat for breakfast. :sad2: What a pain. :headache:

We have another busy day today. Kirt's going to mow, replace the grass in the spot where we had to pull up a tree, plant a couple of bushes where our flowers died...
fill nail holes, touch up paint, clean carpets, and fix a carpet spot where the doggy chewed a hole. :scared: Yikes! Obviously, I need to go to the grocery store today too. ;)

I'll be around, but now I have to figure out breakfast. :rolleyes1

No one's sure yet what it'll be - Disney's releasing details on Mar. 10. From leaks, though, it sounds like it'll be some kind of "Disney Affinity" Club" people can join. We shall see...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Sorry not to quote everyone - my fingers aren't quite awake and I need to get out to the store soon.

Can I just say... I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME?!?!?!?! :headache:

Mini-golf was intereting... we suck! But Leo loooooved it, so that was nice. He and I are heading to the beach later.

If I don't make it back here today, have a good Sunday Fockers! :grouphug:

I swear sometimes kids are in the middle of their brains growing and they act all funky.

Congrats on the walking :cheer2: That sounds like it will be nice and regular for you.

The beach sounds like a perfect place to spend daylight savings change day. That is a great price for the rental.

Moving in is so much work!

Did you know the heart attack rate goes up in the three days following the time change? Scientist think it is from the loss of sleep. Why are we still doing this anyway??

I want my hour back.

Good Morning all (Checking watchin to make sure it is still morning) The zoo was cancelled. While it is is 66 degrees it is also
smiley_raining.gif
. :sad2: Oh well, Jimmy has declared pajama day since it is raining. I have one load of :laundy: left to do and I am going to run to the grocery store. Nothing exciting, but JIm isn't feeling good now  so it's probably good that we aren't going. When I get back from the store he can go to bed!

Be back later Fockers! HAve a great day everyone:goodvibes

HI Fockers, I know I went MIA again, but you all are used to know right?

Having a bit of a Fibro flare and the clock changing doesn't help, gives me jet lag.

Speaking of jet lag, I am in full planning mode for California. Thanks to T I now know there is a Food and Wine fest when I am there. HOW DIDN'T I KNOW THAT??? Thanks T;) I really to need to direct some attention, I'm under the 10 week mark:eek:

I'll stop by later Fockers, have a good Sunday

Thanks, so far I've been very lazy! :rotfl:

You're not a bad mommy - you're a good mommy who sets boundaries. ::yes:: And the walking plan sounds great!

I'll be around, but now I have to figure out breakfast.

Hope you figured something out, and have a great (busy) day!

I woke up in the middle of the night, not with nausea, but with a bad stomach ache and heartburn. It was not good. So, D was very sweet and let me sleep in, but then with the time change, I slept in REALLY late. Yikes! :scared:

We may be going to look at boats, just for ideas and real price points. D has wanted a boat forever - I'm iffy, because I don't want to be tied to "going to the boat" every weekend. I enjoy being out on our friend's boat once or twice a summer, but...

We'll see. See what we can get, see what's around...

I have to go shower, though. :wave2:

Have a great day!

Sounds like fun - although I'm secretly hoping he'll want to brave WDW in early August. ;)

Well today we've got our first Cookie Booth sale at 1pm. I have no idea what to expect, as this is our first one and our council people aren't really helpful. :sad2: The girls are excited, so that's all that matters, right? :confused3

We played AC with Kat again last night. My whole family was sitting around the TV telling me what to say to her. It was a riot. It was late for Kat (11:30pm) so she couldn't play too long. But it was fun! I seriously need Wii Speak, though. :teeth: Thanks for playing with us KAT!

Hope everyone has a great Sunday! Catch y'all laters! :flower3:

So I guess Waldo was having problems with his... errr...ummm... 'plumbing' due to the anesthesia and the Vicodin he's been popping. Poor guy had to go and get errr... ummm... relief?? Sorry, TMI.
Oh no, sounds horrid, hope he's better now!

Jenny is picking up DD11 from a babysitting class. When did she get old enough to babysit? :confused3
Babysitting class????? Sorry about your job and Jenny's too, hope she finds something!

Jo so sad we wont meet in September!!:sad1:
I know :sad2:

Yep it's time for the curse words separator! It's been a long, tired and now annoying weekend. I need to vent badly....
Has he gone now???? Hope he goes soon, it must be tough all in one room? Where does he sleep?

And still sorry I'm not posting much........I've been on my yahoo goat support group a lot lately--the ladies are helping me get Sugar feeling better....she's still really sick. :(
Oh no

Hey, FYI, we're changing our time tonight, so you'll be a little closer for a few weeks.
I have to call the US on Tuesday so I'm so pleased someone told me it's only 4 hours difference now not 5 :rotfl2: Sorry about the boots and hope you don't ache too much today

I am sitting here printingup letters for the home and school. We are having an event in June to raise money for smart boards for each classroom. The event is called Shawmont is Magic. We are having a magician (yeah, we are original:rolleyes: ) and a silent auction. The letters are to potential donors for items for the silent auction. I wonder if Disney would donate anything:scratchin .

Other than that not much going on. Jimmy is watching Star Wars and playing Transformers. Jim is sick in bed:sick: Weather is supposed to get cold again:headache: I was hoping to retire Jimmy's long sleeved school shirts...can't get them clean anymore. I want to know who in their right mind though that WHITE shirts would be good for 5 year olds:sad2:

Is it that cold there?
Yep, I was wearing a sweater and a fleece with a wind proof lining today, that wind was cold!!!

The letters are to potential donors for items for the silent auction. I wonder if Disney would donate anything:scratchin .
Ask Jen V, she had some link where Disney gives out park tickets to worthy causes!!!! I have a few Mom's Panel note cards if you want ;) :rotfl2:

Hi Quick pot before internet goes own again !! Third time todyI have tried to get on the boards Only to have it go off again!! Good news though the keyboard is under warranty!!

Well Mom is now officially educated in all things Star Wars, we just finished watching Episode III. So if she is still clueless come May when we are at Star Wars Weekend it is officially not my fault. :rotfl:
