Hi all! We've been out to the Braves game, Janet, I still can't find your dad. :rolleyes: They won and the weather was fab so I have a tan! :cheer2: What a lovely way to prepare for my cruise. :thumbsup2

Lori, my mom used to threaten us with leaving the store too. I never remember actually leaving, but the thought apparently was enough to keep us in line. :hug:

Mo, hope you feel better. I'm sure planning helps ease some of the pain. :goodvibes

Janet, good luck with your auction. My sis just bought a years worth of milk from TG Lee. She says they are officially old now. ;)

Congrats, Jo. :cool1:

CE, Mitch would love a boat too. No idea what we'd do with it so maybe you could just store yours here. :rolleyes1

T, how did cookie sales go?

Do you have a recipe for Banana Nut Bread though? I looked all over recipes.com and couldn't find one I really liked and I know I've made it before but just can't remember where I got the recipe from. It might have been from you if you had posted it before? :confused3
Hi Lori! Yes, it was me. I will post it after this post!
I think it's GREAT that you took the kids home when they were bad. Too many moms threaten but don't follow through!

can't remember if i told you or not, but i officially booked. flights to the beach. hotel at the beach.. and i found rental mid size suv for 37.99 /day. it worked out to 190 for 4 days after fees and everything
Hi Rach! Night Rach!
Yay on the beach!

IWe have another busy day today. Kirt's going to mow, replace the grass in the spot where we had to pull up a tree, plant a couple of bushes where our flowers died...
fill nail holes, touch up paint, clean carpets, and fix a carpet spot where the doggy chewed a hole. :scared: Yikes! Obviously, I need to go to the grocery store today too. ;)
Busy Dawn! Have a good Sunday!

Mini-golf was intereting... we suck! But Leo loooooved it, so that was nice. He and I are heading to the beach later.

If I don't make it back here today, have a good Sunday Fockers! :grouphug:
I am bad at mini-golf also!
Have fun at the beach!

Did you know the heart attack rate goes up in the three days following the time change? Scientist think it is from the loss of sleep. Why are we still doing this anyway??

I want my hour back.
Doesn't surprise me! :sad2:

Nothing exciting, but JIm isn't feeling good now :sick: so it's probably good that we aren't going. When I get back from the store he can go to bed!

Be back later Fockers! HAve a great day everyone:goodvibes
Poor Jim! Hope he's better soon.

HI Fockers, I know I went MIA again, but you all are used to know right?
I'll stop by later Fockers, have a good Sunday
Sorry you are in pain, Mo. The trip to CA will do you good!

Thanks, so far I've been very lazy! :rotfl:

I have to go shower, though. :wave2:

Have a great day!
I was VERY lazy also.....
Hope you are feeling much better now.

:worship: Girl, you ROCK! I actually think you're a GREAT mom for doing that. :thumbsup2
Yep. Me too.
Hi T!!!!! :wave2:

Jess is out with a friend and Ellie is upstairs with her friend so everyones happy today, oh and David is starting a fire so that makes him happy :rotfl:
Yay on winning golf!!!! David likes fire, eh? :goodvibes

I am sitting here printingup letters for the home and school. We are having an event in June to raise money for smart boards for each classroom. The event is called Shawmont is Magic. We are having a magician (yeah, we are original:rolleyes: ) and a silent auction. The letters are to potential donors for items for the silent auction. I wonder if Disney would donate anything:scratchin .
Good luck with your auction! I'd try Disney, you never know!

Well Mom is now officially educated in all things Star Wars, we just finished watching Episode III. So if she is still clueless come May when we are at Star Wars Weekend it is officially not my fault. :rotfl:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How nice! Glad you are enjoying the sunshine. We don't have any....only 17 days till I get to see the sun!
**********************
Watching the race (on DVR, I'm only about 100 laps in.) and making chicken noodle soup for dinner. I have homemade cornbread in the oven too. Took the boys out to Kmart (eh, I hate Kmart) and bought some stuff for the house. And a huge tote to put the bunny's 50lb bag of food into! :scared:

Hope you guys are enjoying the day. It's POURING buckets outside. Crazy rain. We're under a flood watch!

See you guys later. Cornbread's done!
MEL:banana:
PS: Lori, banana bread recipe below!

Here it is:
Banana Bread (via Mel by way of a girl in Peoria, IL named Michelle who I met once but stole her recipe....)

1/2 Cup butter or margarine, soft (her recipe says shortening but i like butter)
1 Cup Sugar
3 bananas (or 1 Cup) mashed up
dash of nutmeg
1 3/4 Cup Flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
***You can add nuts. About a 1/2 cup should do it. I don't because we have allergies***

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, then bananas and nutmeg.

Add dry ingrediants (I usually add 1 cup flour, then mix the rest of the ingrediants with the 3/4 cup of flour and add that to insure it's well combined)

Grease a standard bread pan (i use Pam) and add batter.

Bake at 350 for about 1 hour.

I have made a million recipes, fancy ones and crumb top ones etc. This VERY basic one is the BEST!

Hi Fockers, I pretty much slept a good part of the day, and other than that I am doing trip planning. DL still uses the PS system for reservations and it is at the 60 day mark which is soon.

Right now I know I am eating at In and Out, other than that not sure, well other than 4 beers with T:lmao: Good thing the hotel is walking, or stumbling distance:rotfl2:

We played AC with Kat again last night. My whole family was sitting around the TV telling me what to say to her. It was a riot. It was late for Kat (11:30pm) so she couldn't play too long. But it was fun! I seriously need Wii Speak, though. :teeth: Thanks for playing with us KAT!

I didnt know everyone was there!!! I'd have said HI! I was cranky after a long day but really excited to play with you! You have to come over next time so I can show u all the funny things my neighbors say, and I made sure there were kid friendly just in case but they are still hilarious!!

Has he gone now???? Hope he goes soon, it must be tough all in one room? Where does he sleep?

On our couch. Right next to the bed, separated only by a small table.

I was on the same time. but I couldn't find any towns open? what am I doing wrong? :confused3

You either have to leave your gate open so we can come into your town or just check at your gate once in a while to see if any gates are open.

We need to plan a specific night and time and all play together!!!

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
SO all is well here. Uncle went home around 5pm. He and KC got back around 3am (with the time change) and we were up until 4am. :sad2: We all slept in tho, that was good. We ate Chinese and sat around. Eventually I was so annoyed I got dressed and went shopping and called my bff to vent.:scared: he ended up leaving while I was out. So now KC is doing laundry and is going to clean while i relax and surf the net and watch tv and play animal crossing! :rolleyes1

Anyways hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather here is getting really nice which makes me happy!

:grouphug: all around!

Hi all! We've been out to the Braves game, Janet, I still can't find your dad. :rolleyes:

He didn't work today:sad1:

Who else is getting their butt kicked by this time change??? :confused3

So I guess Waldo was having problems with his... errr...ummm... 'plumbing' due to the anesthesia and the Vicodin he's been popping. Poor guy had to go and get errr... ummm... relief?? :confused: Sorry, TMI.

Anyhow, he's ok, thankfully!

Ok.. I know this is OLD NEWS.. but I had to read this 3 times to get it right... I thought.. you said "he was having problems and his Plumbing was Popping"
It all makes sense now... I was getting concerned about this "Popping" problem.
At least the is doing better now.

:scared1: Hey Katt---I may have to go to Salem on Wed for a work meeting at US foods.........Ft Lewis Blvd---is that near u??

Well that the OTHER side of Salem... But probably 15 minutes away I am just off I-81 on the 419 exit that you would take if you were going to Lewis Gale. From that exit I am 5 minutes away.
Ya wanna meet up ??:rolleyes1

Did you even find out WHAT is wrong with Sugar ??

Can I just say... I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME?!?!?!?! :headache:

I Love it... But the First Day is ROUGH

I Jim is sick in bed:sick: Weather is supposed to get cold again:headache: I was hoping to retire Jimmy's long sleeved school shirts...can't get them clean anymore. I want to know who in their right mind though that WHITE shirts would be good for 5 year olds:sad2:

Sorry Jim is Sick...

I have a suggestion for the white shirts... if this does not work... it's over
"BIZ." that Powder laundry soak stuff... I usually double the amount it says for a troublesome pre-treat.
Put the shirts to soak in something in as Hot of water as you can. I have even boiled water... and dissolve the powder then submerge the shirts and let them soak overnight. The wash them in some reg detergent... if the stain are still there.. :sad2:

I have survived the weekend.... Now I just have to make it to Tomorrow night and I am home free.
Thanks for not chatting too much.

Dude, I'm going to PM you my cell phone #. Text me when you go on. I only found Kat's gate open by chance and invited her to come chop down a tree per the crazy cat fortune teller.
OMG, that sounds so strange! :laughing:
Oh we need pictures of this, expecially sine Mo don't drink
WHat do you mean "Mo don't drink"???? She will in May. :teeth: :lmao:

The last time we ate there was probably early last year and it was soooo gross! I haven't read any good reviews on it lately - I so want to eat there again because I just love the atmosphere - it's just great. JMHO. ;) I much prefer Cafe Orleans.

Who else is getting their butt kicked by this time change??? :confused3

::yes:: With a vengence! Glad things with the motha went ok.

**********************************************

So our cookie booth was a HUGE flop! :headache: Apparently 2 troops were scheduled for the same time at the same location. And the other troop was a service team members and we basically got the boot. I took Maddie and 1 other girl over to the local sports park and they sold some to people watching games, etc. They only sold 24 boxes today. :sad2: We have another booth sale Sunday, but I think I'm going to take Maddie over to the movie theater on Friday and hit people up there.

I'm bitter.

And tired.

And in need of ice cream.

Lots of ice cream.

:teeth:

Dude. This time change has mucked me up. :mad:

Wishing everyone a good sleep and a great tomorrow.

:hug:

Guess what! 12 days until my trip! :banana: :banana:

Hi Katt! :cutie:

So our cookie booth was a HUGE flop! :headache: Apparently 2 troops were scheduled for the same time at the same location.
Why would someone do that to the girls? WTG for your quick thinking to relocate. :thumbsup2

Guess what! 12 days until my trip! :banana: :banana:

Whoohooty! :cool1:

So my plan for today is pack! I still haven't tried on my formal wear, probably because I'm afraid it won't fit. :rolleyes1

Good morning. Eh, it's early! I'm going to get Gus up. He's being resistant........

MEL:banana:

Morning! :goodvibes

Another drive by...I'm trying to stay caught up but it's not easy!

I hope all is well with everyone! :hug:

Booo! Why am I up when it's dark? What a crock. :headache:

We didn't get everything done this weekend. Kirt worked like a dog, poor guy. The stuff that's left is stuff I don't know how to do. :confused3 So, I can't do much to help him. He's hoping to take a half day this week before we're supposed to list on Thursday. With the big toss up and firing last week, we didn't have enough time between them asking Kirt to move and needing him there to get the house completely ready. :guilty: It'll get done. But, I feel so bad for Kirt. He's got to be tired. :guilty: He's getting up at 4 to get to Austin in time every morning. :scared:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In other news, I'm hoping to resume our normal school schedule again. Good thing we have built in days off. Geez. Not to mention we can work into June if we need to. :teacher:
We leave in two weeks exactly! :banana: :banana: :banana:
Good Morning!!!!
Yep it's me. Your eyes aren't lying. The roofers should be here any minute. I didn't figure I'd be able to sleep. Besides I stretched out in Doug's recliner around 9:30 last night and the next thing I knew it was 11:30. (All recliners seems to have that power.) I hit the hey early.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I'll do an update in a few. I gotta get some bills paid first.
Morning everyone.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes.
I read a few pages but have to get around for a DR. appt.
Z -- Sorry about the trip.
Saw that Waldo went back to ER. but did not read far enough to find out what is going on. Hope he is doing well now.:hug:
