Kat I must have missed th post about Bale but from others comments I take it he is OKAY!!!!Yahooy I am so gla for you!!
mrsomeday 2 ings I pm'd you about the lanyards !!I work with the Developmentally Disabled and they are awesome !!Itis a VERY rewarding field emotionally if not financially!! But what is the worth of a daily feeling of accomplishment !!! They give back way more than they take and that is priceless !!

You gonna get in trouble from D for being on the DIS?? Or is it that you have some trampolining to do?? :rotfl:

Nah, I just meant that he'd expect me to talk to HIM, not drunken Spanish to you guys. ;)

I'm betting on the trampoline...........

The bookie ain't even taking odds on this one:rotfl2:

What a reputation I have. :rotfl:And sadly, no - he was on Seattle time, and I went to bed way earlier than he did. ;)

CE- Have fun drunk, spanish trampolining! :lmao:[/quote]

Alas...

Is it just me or does this room look kinda green? It looks like a lime green DIS Party light.:rotfl2:

I know. I quickly took it with the laptop camera, which has no flash, and we use all those compact flourescents, which turn up green with no flash. I promise, it's not that bad in person! :rotfl2:

Did I tell you guys that we're going to brunch with the in-laws?? I'm not overly excited about it, but I know it's what we should do. I'm just sick and tired of MIL talking about nothing but the accident and all her aches and pains. It's been close to 4 months now and that's still all she can talk about. The annoying thing is that we give her all kinds of ideas of what she can do to help herself and she refuses to do any of it. So, I'm just over hearing about her "pain" and all that stuff. I'm sure that wins me the DIL of the year award though! :confused3

 I'm sorry, hon. That's got to be annoying.

CE is looking forward to the swarm of relatives that will be invading her space in a couple of weeks. Have some wine and another &!@#^ party, you'll be fine. ;)

:lmao:

TE! I forgot to tell you I found a shirt like the one I wanted you to pick up for me! It's the lime green "I've got my eye on you" one! :yay:

I just remembered I boguht it! I haven't even worm it. i guess it was washed and put away and I haven't seen it since we got home.

Somehow, this made me laugh. :lmao:

we have a busy day ahead. We have a tball game, then an Easter egg hunt at a friends house, .mama wants to take the kids shopping for new Bibles for Easter, DH is taking the boys to the county fair while I take Chi to see the new hanna Montana movie. Then we are heading up the mountain to stake out a campsite for next week, moving mama's RV over here to start cleaning it and packing.

Yikes - sounds crazy!

Can I just say that I'm ready to strangle my dog?? I know he's been sick, but does he really have to wake me up three times during the night to be let outside only to stand there and do nothing?? Seriously??? :headache: I love him, but he's driving me crazy!!!!

Trust me, I hear you.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

You, too!

We were supposed to go shopping for Lindsey's Easter dress last night but after the temper tantrum she threw for 2 hours over ice cream cake I decided I didn't really want to take her anymore. :sad2: So, maybe we can go this afternoon if not she won't have anything to wear. LOL

That's about it for us. Hope y'all have a good Saturday!

You, too! Have fun!

Ab went to her boyfriend's mom's wedding last nite tho and dressed all up---she looked really pretty.
And we have the prom coming up---got her a nice dress at macys that looks great!

Will she let you post pictures? :)

*Sigh*

I'm all alone. In my house. With no one else.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........

Ok, Mom's been returned to sender. She had a great visit and nary an inkling of my total lack of enthusiasm. Thank goodness. :goodvibes I never want her to feel UNwanted but oh! It's sooooo nice to have the house back.

I am celebrating by NOT cleaning today. :rotfl2: I'll do it tomorrow as we're heathens and don't attend church! ROFL. I am going to get my hair cut today instead. I haven't thought about it much lately, and it shows! :sad2:
Maybe a new hair-do will improve my spirits.

I am going to get the easter stuff organized too. That will be later. Oh! And I bought some magazine holders (the cardboard kind you can put them in and then label?) so I want to get our OUT OF CONTROL reading pile organized!

Hope you guys are having a GREAT day!
MEL:banana:

Afternoon Fockers. T Ball was a washout. We signed up and then came home. It has been raining since about 3am. I washed my windows (yes in the rain:rolleyes:) and put up my new curtains:thumbsup2 Will take pic and post later. Inlaw invasion is happening fairly soon so I won't be here much today. Will check back tonight after they leave and after the Easter Bunny visits!

Have a great day everyone. In case I don't make it back

HAPPY EASTER

Hi Fockers!

I didn't even read to see what is up. This past week has been rough. I did manage to work from home the rest of the week but was exhausted by 4 -4:30 and would collapse. On tuesday at my post op the doc had me starting to put pressure on the foot, which I am and I am making progress, but it's painful. Unfortunately my fibro just complicates the healing process. Good news is I haven't had a Viocodin since yesterday morning.

I told the family that I am not going to my brother's for Easter. It's an hour's drive and their dining room etc is all on the second floor. Add the fact I'm not a big fan of my SIL's family (I like her a lot, just not the rest of them) and I'm staying home to rest up so I can get back to the office on Monday (I'm hoping I can drive by then).

I am getting the stitches out Tuesday.

I hope all the Fockers are well and Happy. I'm going to try and get caught up or at least look for a Kristel update.;)

Ooo! Where did ya find it??
Right outside of the Buzz ride under the TTC. I guess they decided to carry adult sizes. :thumbsup2

Somehow, this made me laugh. :lmao:
Was it the fact that I'm forgetful or that my post had so many errors? ;)

Because the house is on the market, when we got home everything had to be washed, put away, and clean the next day. I totally forgot I bought it until I saw a screen saver of Mike W and his one eye. :rotfl: Sad, huh?

In my defense, B put it away in my drawer instead of hanging it like it was supposed to be.

Take care of yourself, okay? It sounds like a good idea to rest this weekend while you can.

Ok, from what I can tell the Fockers aren't talking English anymore:confused:

What the heck is going on around here???? JEEZ!;)

MrsK:eek: people are idiots. the last several years Dad had were in a motorized chair and the ignorance of folks never stopped amazing me:sad2:

Kat - is your baby sick:hug: and you are going to Hawaii:cool1:

Mel - sounds like you are feeling better:thumbsup2

Janet - sorry I missed you (and thank you again for the yumminess you sent)

I'm going to attempt to update my pre trip report now,

Just the memory. And only because I would do it, too. ;)

Yay on getting the bathroom done! :thumbsup2 And YAY! to Jess on her golf comp. :woohoo:

*******************************************************

Got back a little bit ago with the kids from Walmart. I didn't even realize if it was actually crowded or not. :rotfl: The parking lot was full and there were people but I guess since my kids were actually good I didn't mind so much. LOL Either that or I just stayed away from the crowded areas.

We're going to be dying Easter eggs here shortly, just waiting for them to cool down. They just can't wait though! Oh well, I'm going to watch some TV with them and snuggle while we wait a few more minutes until they cool.

Be back later. :)

Kat: SO glad to hear that you have Bale at home with you. I'm keeping the good thoughts going....

The delish swedish meatballs. Lingonberry jam, fries, mom's cesaer salad, and a cinnamon roll to share:

Thanks for the good thoughts!
The pic made me hungry! LOL. Tomorrow. I love the chair, we have friends who have the canvas one! And that sectional looks awesome and comphy!

Kat - Pics of the TV? We are looking but not buying right now;)

I talked to mom tonight and she told me they are going to be coming up in at the end June/beginning of July :yay: I'm really excited becasue they haven't been home in a while. Unfortunately that means I am probably going to have to bail on you Kat for AC the weekend of the 20th:sad2:.

If you need any help with the tv shopping I learned more than i needed about them LOL. And don't worry about the AC weekend- we can change the date - it was just an excuse to go.

Kat---that's great about your Kitty. I'm sure she's getting lots of love tonight-------and I hope you get a lot of sleep!

I slept! it was a miracle. Actually I had such a headache from lack of food and sleep I was forced to close my eyes!

I was just kidding about you changing the dates. I know you will have a fantastic time. Maybe you can come to Ip Dip 3??

I'm hoping to make it to IpDip3!

Hi Fockers!

Glad to hear you are doing better!

Has anyone heard from Kat about the kitty's test results? :confused3

Have I told you how much I love you all for caring so much!? Details to follow...

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

:woohoo:Bale is gonna be fine!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

We had to wait unil after 2pm for the vet to call back but the results were good. He has a slight issue with his pancreas and his kidney but its mostly from old age and nothing to be concerned about. the vet was very good at explaining it all to me. he is going to put him on a an antibiotic for a week (I pick them up monday) but he is doing good!!

He started eating his dry food again and is generally just in a better mood.

I can not tell you how happy I am. I cried agaian when i found out he's gonna be ok.

Today is getting better and better actually! We found the unit we really wanted at IKEA (Expedit TV unit) being sold on craigslist for $100! it's a $240 unit! PLUS it's put together already!!!! So we are picking it up tomorrow since KCs friend will be driving here tomorrow anyway!

Things are looking better, thank goodness!!!!!!

I hope everyone else is having a great day too! I'm off tog et the shopping list together so we can get some foo back in the cabinets!

Oh Kat that's fantastic about Bale :yay::yay::yay:

Lori so funny about not knowing if Walmart was busy or not because the kids were good :lmao:

We then went to Jessica's golf comp this afternoon, only 5 turned up and Jess came second :thumbsup2 We then had a nice chinese take away and are relaxing :thumbsup2

Yay for Jess! (and for the Chinese take away!) :goodvibes

I sent D to the store with Woody, and somehow the eggs came up. :headache: So now I am cooking them tonight, and we'll dye them in the morning. We did decide we are going to John & Deb's to eat. Update on Michelle below.

Things are looking better, thank goodness!!!!!!

I'm so glad for all of that, Kat!

Kat, I am so pleased to hear that Bale is going to be okay, what a relief!

And yay for the cheap tv stand :woohoo:

I just quoted so I could say "Hi, Lessa!" :wave2: What are you up to?

********************************************************
Michelle got to get the ventilator out today. They are hoping to get her out of the ICU by Monday. :goodvibes I don't know that there is a diagnosis, so to speak, but things are looking better. :thumbsup2

Her parents are in town from PA, and so they're coming to linner (we're eating at 3:00ish) too. I've never met them, so that's interesting, but it's not here.

OK, our dinner is ready, so I need to go. See you later!

I know what you mean with eggs. :headache: I was actually wanting to do them this year though. DR was so excited to be doing them because they dyed some at his Easter party at school.

It just always seems a rush because some years DR's birthday (3/22) falls around Easter weekend and I'm so focused on his birthday that I forget all about Easter. I think I'm safe for the next few years and can transition from St. Patty's Day, DR's birthday then Easter very easily.

If anyone ate them after we were done, I wouldn't care so much. But it's such a pain for something we look at for 15 minutes, then put in the fridge, and throw away a few days later, you know?

Not much really, mostly why I haven't been posting, I have nothing to post about! :rotfl: My life is very boring. Just working and getting ready for my trip, only 34 days to go!

Gotcha! Your trip is so close! :cool1::cool1::cool1:
