New Orleans is ORDERED out.

I was thinking they thought it would weaken to maybe a 1 ...2 at most

OMG! My neighbor's sisters lived in NOLA, that is until Katrina hit. Both their homes were completely flooded. Our neighbor Jerry, has been flying back forth every few months since trying to rebuild for them. I can't imagine all his hard work just going to crap.

Bob's watching Aliens (Ahhhh!!!! Skeery!) I don't like skeery movies so I'm ignoring it. Gotta call SD up soon for bed. Luckily his friend who's over has been here so many times, he's like one of MY kids. I told him, "Yeah, you can spend the night but SD is going to bed at 11 and that's that." (We need to keep him on a schedule, it really seems to help him with the panic) He said, "Ok, Mrs. D. No prob. I understand." He's a good kid. Again, I am so glad I like SD's friends!

Dinner was good. I love turkey burgers! Yummy! And now I'm having my 3rd Smirnoff Ice. (shhhh. don't tell anyone!) That is also yummy.

So, where is Kate? Is she home yet? And Ed? Is she working? And where in heck is Rachel? It's her day.....

Hi! I didnt get to that part yet... I just sent an E-mail off to David Russo,,DARuss....he lives in LA.. he actually works the computers out on a oil rig in the gulf. Hopefully I`ll hear from him soon! going back to catch up now..I did notice earlier today that Jodi went home..Why didnt they just do the surgery?! Now she has to go through the weekend and Monday in pain!

I just finished organizing all our trip photos! The grand total after many deletions is 2657, not including photopass and video.

Well, I had an awesome day yesterday with meeska in Lubbock. No purse though.

Until today!!!!

I got a Fossil Purse for $64...off from $279!!!

Then...this morning my new niece was born.

Addison Riley was welcomed into this world at about 2 this morning weighing in at 7 lbs. 5 oz...and is 19 3/4 inches long.

I am going to Abq. tomorrow to see her!

We had Erich's laptop with us so we just dumped the pictures and video onto it every night and started each day fresh with empty memory cards. We also had three cameras with us so the photos just sorta added up.

She's been in the hospital for a few weeks now and it's been very touch and go. She's developed an infection and pneumonia. She's in critical care around the clock. He hubby has been with her, but had to be evacuated since the hospital she's in is in New Orleans. Her kids and rest of her family is back in Austin, so I guess he's going home until it's safe.

Oh Dawn that's terrible what a horrid decision to make, I hope they all stay safe

About halfway through my aunt's husband calls and says my grandma fell and probably broke her wrist. My aunt headed up to the ER to meet them there. I guess my grandma tripped and landed on her wrist and broke the 2 big boes and then also the 3 little ones. Anyways, they admitted her for the night and has it set in a sling right now and will most likely do surgery tomorrow morning on it. My aunt said the doctor on call didn't want to come in and will just do it tomorrow. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but I know she was in a lot of pain from it.

Oh no poor thing hope it heals quickly!

Well I've just found out I'm going to be an Auntie again, my Step-Brother, the one who got married last year in the Castle, has announced his wife is due in April
