Last night was AWFUL. DS didn't sleep for more than an hour and I was awake all night. Bob left for his week-long trip this morning. We visited the Dr. to see what he had to say. He says that physically DS is sound. It's definitely panic attacks, and he needs to learn ways of calming himself. He prescribed Valium and suggested a counsellor. I hate the idea of giving him drugs, but he's beside himself and so am I. I don't know what else to do.

I need sleep so bad! I hope that DS sleeps tonight. He didn't seem improved at all with the Valium.

This right here is the reason I could never homeschool. My DD7 would e in timeout every stinking minute of every day and I would be pulling my hair out! I just don't think I have the temperment to do it. I truly admire those who do, but I think I'd have an ulcer and DD7 would be dead. It's much better for her to be going to school.

I try and keep my subscriptions to one page but I always have to sub to the reports of the people who read mine. I'm always going through and pruning out old threads though. All my subs seem to be TR's though.

Here's a really funny story for you all...Only y'all will understand....

We have soem friends (i'm not too fond of them but they are KCs friends so I keep my mouth shut, and they want to go to disney so they ask em about it. I am happy to plan their vacation, i live for that stuff, until I asked when they wanna go.....

I was like "they are kidding right?" They also told KC they didn';t even know there was more than one park.

For giggles I looked to see if any values were available..... nope. So tonight I get to explain why they shouldn't have picked then to go anyway. They have a 2 year old. Can you imagine rookies waiting on lines for hours with a 2 year old. OY.

Gotta go get my dinner out of the oven...I made breaded eggplant as a side dish. YUM.

Kat, too funny. I always laugh when people want to plan a trip so last minute like that.

One of my supervisors at work asked me last week how much he could pay me to plan his trip in January for him. I laughed and said I would do it for free. Although perhaps I should have accepted the money.

When I told KC I was having a planning video sent to their house he laughed. I told him unless they are paying me to be their tour guide too then they need to have SOME CLUE once they get there!!

PS they have a budget of $2000 for 6 nights....including food....my advice- go somewhere cheaper!

I believe initally it was a "Waterproof Tape" the Military needed to protect amminution cases....so since it was "waterproof" or at least resistant... they nicknamed it "Duck Tape" THey later found out that the tape was very versatile and used it to fix their guns, jeeps, aircraft, etc.
So See... It's true... "if it can't be fixed with "Duct/Duck Tape"... it can't be fixed

I was going to stay at CSR but the website said no vacancy's the week we were there... Come to find out later... they had Rooms

I just wanted to let you guys see my newest nephew!!! His name is Nathaniel Harlan and he's just a peach! Mom is doing great (my dsis Stacie) and she's going to be in the hospital for 4-5 days. Her C section was NOT planned, but her water broke so they did an ultrasound (she's 3 wks early-her due date was WeinerFEST!!!). His shoulders were big enough that Dr. was worried he'd get stuck!
My sis is tough so she'll be fine! Nate the Great was 8 pounds!

And, thanks to all my wonderful friends! Your prayers are clearly working for dson. He's sitting with me watching Gladiators. He hasn't had a pill since the original one at 1 pm after the drs. He ate some dinner (YAY!) and had a shower. He's going to have a pill and get to bed soon. He seems ok for now.
I love you all for supporting us. Let's hope he can make it through the night and let his poor tired momma sleep.

WHAT?!?! Air fare alone these days is half that price. (exaggerating a little---except in Jo's case---but still).

Yeah I've stopped giving people advice on how to plan a Disney vacation, I just tell them to go to the Disney website and order the Planning DVD. Otherwise when I start telling them about Disney they eventually get this look on their face because they didn't realize it could be so complicated.

Yeah, that's $1600 during Value season (if you can find a room)at a Value resort, weekends excluded from that price and not including food, souvies, etc.
