Trust me, no you don't. Side story...One time had a guy call from jail (that I had to put there right after Thanksgiving) asking me when I was going to let him out of jail becasue he wanted to be with his family. I told him that it was up to the Judge how long he would remain in jail and that his hearing was scheduled, etc. etc. He asked me what he was supposed to tell his family? I told him to tell them "I'll have a Blue Christmas without you"??? He didn't find this amusing, but the Judge did when he told him, and then sentenced him to state prison

Found you all. I am still not feeling better this morning. I will check in again tomorrow and hope I feel well enough to read up then. Have a great day everyone.

I am so tired! I only slept about 4 hours and couldn't go back to bed after KC left for work. :headache:

I am waiting on the mailman who hopefully has a package for me then I need to run some errands so I can throw some food in my crock pot and nap (I hope)!

Hope everyone's monday is more awake than mine!

And those 3 say they don't talk :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Yes I MAY have a fewPosts on here.. BUT IN MY DEFENSE...

How many threads is everyone in the top 10 subscribed too? and how many posts do you have on each ?? ( These are threads you visit DAILY and post to)

Jo must be Sub'd to at least 20 to have counts like she has:lmao: .Ok.. real number Uh 10-13
Janet... somewhere between 8-10
Dawn is a tough one... I am thinking she may be loyal to a precious few but chats her fingers off.. so ...4-7 tops
Me... That I frequent daily and post at... TFW.. I read and post on a few TR's I think 5 ( including mine) BUT NOT EVERY DAY !!!! Now... That number will no doubt go up after Y'all abandon your "posts" :rolleyes: ( pun intended here):lmao: and start TR's after "Fockerfest" BUT... if ya combine then into ONE BIG FAT TR.. I can save posting time... I think... :confused3 :lmao:

Now on this new thread we have... last I looked TE was holding her own... coming in third behind Janet and Dawn.. but since those two were tied till a few minutes ago.. TE was sort of second... followed by V

Where am I you may ask.... in a three way tie with Mel and Jodi... near the bottom with 2.. Well..... Now 3 Sorry gals.. "I'm MOOOOVING ON UP... To the top.. where the big time posters all hang out... Mooooving on up.... To the top... I've gotta get a head of the Pile"... :lmao: :lmao:

Just had tell you guys the funniest story. When Ds15 was about 2 or 3 he was just done with a bath and I told him, go find your undies. They're in the dryer. He ran off to get them and came back all upset. I asked him what was wrong and he said, these aren't the right ones. :confused3 What do you mean? "Not the right ones...?" He said, Well these are batman undies. I like the other ones better. So, I'm racking my brain trying to think WHAT ones? He only has plain tightie whiteys and the batman ones...He prefers the plain ones???!!!

So, I say, Um the only other ones you have are the white ones. Are those the ones you mean!? He says, Yes. The ones with the apple. The Fruit of Doom ones....

OMG. :scared1: :lmao: :scared1: :lmao:

My dh and I laugh STILL about this!

---------------
...I just discovered yesterday that for a week(!!!!!) I've been using the tears INSTEAD of the pressure drop! ...

'Fruit of Doom' :lmao:

Mix-up with meds seems to happen a lot. Even in the hospitals. I hope now that you are using the right drops, you won't need the surgery.

Your DS is in my thoughts and prayers. Panic attacks are as bad as seizures. You never know when they will happen.

Jo - I'd be PO'd too if they didn't have everything ready. Not very courteous of them.

Janet, who's Janet?
Just kidding. What a great Focker!!! We love ya'!
************************
DH is at the DR.s office right now. I hope he can go back to work. The neurologist's office from IU Med. just called to set up an appt. for Thurs. afternoon. They still haven't received any records from the DR here. They were supposed to be faxed a week ago.:headache: Do I have to go there myself and drag the files to Indy?! I tried to call Doug's cell. No answer. He turns it off when he's at the DR. I hope he sees the text before he comes back home.

Mean while I need to grab a bite to eat and finish up my WDW projects, do laundry, clean the carpets, dust and get things ready for my BFF and family this weekend. I've got to get it all done by tomorrow because I work the rest of the week. :laundy:
I let DH know we will be grilling up some hamburgers and hot dogs for supper while they are here. I've already made out a grocery list. He looked gave me a weird look. I said, "They're company, dear. We are going to feed them." Men just don't get it.

Katt I didnt know you had a TR going? :confused3

I`m just hanging around the computer waiting for Steve to E-mail me his password for an account I need to get into. I`m starving and need a Ice Coffee somthing bad!! He just called with it!! :banana: woo hoo!! I`m off to rob Peter to pay Paul!!! wish me luck! :wizard:

Dawn--I've been getting new undies lately too! Ross has some cute ones for not so expensive. Ab told me that "you feel better with cute underwear"........so today I put on a cute pair of orange bikinis........that showed thru my white capris ........and were too tight cause I've gained weight :mad: :mad: which made me admit that I apparently don't really wear a medium. :mad::mad: :mad: .......so I'm trying again tomorrow with the blue ones and we'll see if I feel any better!:thumbsup2
(maybe it just works with VS ones......:confused3 )

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I"m sorry to giggle TE...it must have been horrifying for you.

OK...who am I kidding. I guffawed...and spit my water at the PC.

had to post........................ i'm down 10 lbs !!!!!!!! go me!!!!!:woohoo:

however, not sure it will stick after this weekend!!! :rotfl2:

i usually weigh myself on monday, but think i'll wait a couple days!!:rolleyes1

:woohoo: Go Rach.

So big vent coming, sorry.............

Em and her DH left last night as they're flying to NYC today and Dad and I are looking after Ollie and Ben, well they left after putting the boys to bed at about 7pm which was great, I was outside with all my relations at the BBQ chatting etc and I go indoors for something, look in the fridge and Emma has left no sterilised bottles :eek: I couldn't believe it, I then go to the lounge which is covered in toys, go upstairs (I was moving into the bedroom with Ben in and Em had promised to strip the bed) to find all her dirty bedding still on the bed and a big suitcase on the floor which I tripped on, luckily I didn't wake Ben :headache: Then this morning find they only had 1 outfit each left and everything else was dirty, OMG I am livid with her, she expects us to look after her babies for 4 days and doesn't even make sure everything is ready for us :mad:

Ben was good last night though, only woke at about 12 then 6.30am and they're both asleep now :thumbsup2

Oh Jo. :hug: I would have been frustrated too honey. I hate to be unprepared...and when you expect someone else to care for your children...that's a no-no! :sad2:

We love you Janet!!! Janet is number 1!!

:hug: Feel better honey.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today. Is. Boring.
Jon broke his chest of drawers...so his underwear is spilling out on the floor...and somehow...he thinks I'm magical and can just fix it. Momma don't do wood work. So, I duck taped it. :lmao:
Other than that...I think I'm going to go get a mani/pedi...cuz momma needs to pay attention to her cuticles and her toes.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!! :teeth:
Speaking of heated... Leo just had a bad dream and was sobbing in his sleep. As i went to check on him, Gramma was heading that way. I told her, "I've got him..."
Gramma: "I can get him."
Me: "No need, I'm right here, about to open his door."
Gramma: "But he's sobbing!"
This is my FATHER-IN-LAW :headache: :headache:
Well, school has begun at my house. #3 son was so excited this morning he ran downstairs to eat and then asked me why he had to wait to do his math. It was 6:30 :scared:
:hug: Feel better. We miss you!
Dawn is a tough one... I am thinking she may be loyal to a precious few but chats her fingers off.. so ...4-7 tops
::yes:: I read all new posts here, Jen2's TR, your TR, the Wieniefest thread, the homeschool thread and that's about it. I only post daily here. I'll post when there's an update on a TR and when Jen's thread has funny chatter about Smurfette being trashy. :lmao:
I'm a talker, what can I say? I don't see adults very often during the day. When we do school I'm here in the schoolroom the whole time. Once I explain the lesson, I wait while they do it and check it right then. So, I have time in between to post. :teacher:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I"m sorry to giggle TE...it must have been horrifying for you.
I feel you. My son's the same way. We have a "no coming out of your room until the 7 is in the front of the line on the clock" rule, though. I have to fight him and C off until I'm done eating my breakfast and checking e-mails. :rotfl:
It's great they want to learn, though.
What curricula do you use, Kate? :teacher:
I can only hope he stays as excited about school. I have always used a mix of stuff, either from actual classroom text books or workbooks, to more unstructured find it as you go along/real life stuff. But I've found as they get older, I get more concerned that we are covering all we are "supposed" to cover. This year, for the first time EVER, I bought Calvert for my oldest. I cannot tell you how relieved I was when that box showed up. I felt sorry the UPS guy had to carry it to the door because it was so heavy, but it has EVERYTHING he needs, as if he were sitting in one of their classrooms. It's so much less stressful. Now I just have the other two to keep on track :laughing:
And you?
Katt I didnt know you had a TR going? :confused3
Well.. Not yet... I actually meant my P-TR.. but I have began to compile thought's.. I think I'll post it when "empties out around here":rolleyes1
Just Kidding...
Hope to have installment 1.... late this week.
Hi Dawn... Like a said "Faithful" to a few.. and I figured you MIGHT ONLY POST HERE DAILY... so... I am not sure WHO IS REALLY THE CHATTIEST..
We just know who is here....:rolleyes1
And she loves her title.....AND WE LOVE HER....
Extra focker points for Jen2 TE please!:flower3:
And this is why I like you so much.
;)
So, I duck taped it. :lmao:
If it can't be fixed with duct tape...it isn't worth fixing ::yes::
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!! :teeth:
You too!:thumbsup2
Well, school has begun at my house. #3 son was so excited this morning he ran downstairs to eat and then asked me why he had to wait to do his math. It was 6:30 :scared:
Dh, the math teacher loved this.:thumbsup2
I think I'll post it when I "empties out around here":rolleyes1
:lmao: I downgraded you.. I first had you between 10-13.
It always pays to go with your "gut".
Actually after I posted I went to my user CP and I am subbed to 17 threads:scared1: All TR's or PTR's, except this one and TFW 5
And you?
I mix and match too. I love that I can choose curriculum according to how they learn best. :cutie:
I use Horizons for math, Tapestry of Grace for history/geography/literature/arts/writing, Abeka for science, Wordly Wise for vocabulary, Easy Grammar for grammar, A Reason for Writing for handwriting, and A Reason for Spelling for spelling. Did I miss anything? A's doing phonics and reading. I mostly make that a hodge podge of things I know works.
What ages are your kids? I have been looking into older stuff to with my oldest doing 6th grade this year. I went to a conference a few weeks ago that was helpful on homeschooling through high school. Tapestry of Grace is nice because it goes from K-12th grade at 4 different levels.
That'll be nice not to have to worry now that you have Calvert. Let me know what you think of it. :)
Okay, I'm worse than you are, Janet. I'm currently subscribed to 35 threads! :banana: One of them is an Indy DISMeet thread that will be over this month and a few others are threads that haven't been completed or worked on for quite awhile, but I do have a lot to read each day. But, I'm like Dawn, I don't usually comment on many of them. I just read them.
Current subscriptions: 119 threads. :eek:
BUT, in my defense, I rarely clean out my subscriptions list and many of those are no longer active. Most of mine are TRs.
