I'm posting from the LIVING ROOM on K's new t.v. He did something where I can post on the t.v. if I want. I may never get off the DIS now. Sorry, kids... No dinner tonight.

I'd better go eat my tacos now...

Hey All!

Just checking in with an update. I'm home now. The doc stopped by around 10:45 and basically said I wasn't an emergency and I could go home. So, I get to lay around my house until Tuesday when I can talk to my doctor and set up the surgery. Eric and the girls just ran up to the store to stock up on groceries and fill my prescription. I'm looking forward to a very boring weekend. The percoset is making me a bit loopy, so I won't be driving anywhere, but luckily, Eric doesn't have anywhere to go. So, he can watch the girls and I can do nothing. Anyway, everything seems to be fine right now and unless something happens between now and then, they'll be nothing new until Tuesday.

In a way I wanted to get it overwith and be done, but then again, I really wanted my own doctor's advise and for her to do the procedure, so maybe it's a good thing.

I know, she does great, this past year it was 7.05am to 5pm Have fun at Seaworld!

well, there's a good reason why I haven't been around today. I called the doctor at 8:30 this morning to see if I could get something for the pain and he sent me to the ER. So, after numerous tests and seeing lots of doctors, I've been admitted to the hospital with a ovarian cyst that measures 7cm x 10cm. At this point, I'm on IV morphine and they're just waiting to see if I can handle the pain. It's not an emergency situation. My OB-GYN is not on call this weekend and if I can, I'd like to wait to have her do the surgery. It will be sometime next week, unless the pain is too bad. If so, then I'll have surgery this weekend sometime and the doc on call will do it. Either way, it's got to come out.

I hope it all goes well Jodi, I had a 6cm ovarian cyst a few years ago, it was the size of a large orange, I never knew I had it no pain or anything and it went away on it's own!

Hey Guys! I got to pick Gwenie up this morning and she looked sooo happy to see us.. but now shes layin around like a sad sack again.. im thinking shes tired still and stuff.. and her ear probably hurts.. there was a foxtail in it poor baby.. so now we have to give her a pill twice a day and ear drops twice a day.. those arent fun..

As I was walking up through the yard( yard is sloping) I felt something POP or break in my leg ( almost seemed like I HEARD IT) I dropped the milk and began to scream for Scott.

So I played the semi final of my mixed golf competition today and we thrashed them We beat them 9 and 7 meaning that we had won 9 holes and there were only 7 of the 18 left so we won I was so lucky, I holed 2 huge putts and on the last hole I chipped in to win the match


BTW I got 11 hours sleep last night and the girls had about 13, we're all back to normal

Hey Kidding...you will stay way ahead. I have a ton of work to do to get the house back in order now that the contractor is done his thing!

We're not sure on that just yet because of SD's issues....

He's still struggling. I made an appt. with the pediatric psychiatrist. It's for the end of Sept. The psycologist wants him to see that dr. and get some form of meds if he can't get this under control by then. I'm so torn. I don't want to medicate my baby, but if he's constantly struggling how will he make it through hs? I know I should be optomisitic but this summer has SUCKED big time.

6 imches of dust on EVERYthing from the work the contractor did. We worked on the kitchen today. Not quite done, but almost. Jim went pick up Tink and I thought I'd take a little break and check in with you all. THe work done looks great, but now I have to get everything in order for Jimmy's birthday party next Saturday (His actual borthday is Monday!)
