After our final a group of us went over to Claim Jumper and ate like fat Americans! Hoo boy those portions are out of CONTROL!
I start my externship at a dermatologists office tomorrow morning, 8 am sharp!
THe weather broke It is a lovely 70 degrees and I have all the windows opens. It;s fabulous!

Got to take Sara to the Dr. this morning. Today is their first day of summer vacation and she has an ear infection. I was up a lot with her last night, had band rehersal last night and got back home late.

Not much going on here. The boys have decided to sort their legos. A massive undertaking to say the least. Thousands of pieces of plastic are on the playroom floor awaiting segregation by shape. It should take about a month: And I will just have to continue to look away. It the kind of mess that will make me crazy soon.

Jo/Miz Diz- From my understanding you can NOT pass gall stones. Many doctors like to wait them out and see if your body with absorb then prior to surgery. If they don't and trouble worsen they operate. Here is the licker though... there are a few kinds of surgery... 1 gives you a recovery of literally 6-8 weeks, then other you are up and at um in a few days to a week.
This is true. Although kidney stone and gallstones are both called "stones" their make-up is not the same. OMG! I did learn something in school!
Hey, Dr. Jen... What about me? My MIL keeps saying I'll be fine at one week after a abdominal hysterectomy (with removal of the ovaries). She's making me feel liek a big baby for wanting to have a few new nightgowns and putting things on hold for a few weeks.
Jeeze, you are having MAJOR surgery, my friend - you deserve to be babied (sp?) at least most of the time!
Never been bitten by one before, I googled it and apparently they don't pierce the skin like a mosquito but cut a chunk of skin out, that's why they swell more I was so pleased to read what it had done
Ok, I think that made me barf a little!
She complained a lot with her spacers (maybe more than the braces--but then she had no comparison). They popped 3 of her baby teeth out within 10 days! It probably hurts worse when they are pushing big teeth--hers had minimal roots.
Good to know. The lady who put them in told me most times the spacers are more painful than the actual braces.
Poor BA---she had an all over body rash last evening---I called the hospital and the nurse thought it was a reaction to the Prednisone (which she had never had before). Plus she was super-hyper (and got anxious when I called the hospital). But her breathing was fine.......gave her Benadryl.....and the rash faded overnite.
Of course, back on the dose pack today so will have to watch.
Poor thing! Hope she's better soon, TE!

Kat, isn't Twilight awesome! You really love the next two books, Eclipse probably more so than New Moon, at least that was my experience with them. I'm rereading Twilight right now for a book discussion. I can't wait for August 1st!
Waldo finished Eclipse last night and is bugging me for book #4. He wants me to order 2 books so he doesn't have to wait for me to finish.
