Where is Dino Land? New TR here! Updated 7/23*

Yes! It is accessed through the project tomorrow area. You go upstairs
Well hello, new bucket list item. :)
Haha 🤣 Join the new Disney Tinder by riding alone! :rotfl:
I can think of worse ways of meeting your soulmate. :)
I agree! Why have them and not mention the shots to guests, literally they just click another button, it isn’t a major set-up!
:confused3
I loved the old Wolfgang Puck (WP) quick service, however Eet is really good, this is the restaurant that took its place.
And here I've never even heard of it.
We have to do a list of 10 to fit all our favorites in. Ummm I don’t see Dinosaur on your list, you must have made an error :rotfl:
:lmao:

Only because it's closing Caroline. Honest. No, really. Yup. That's it.
Yeah I just feel the old songs were just weird and not relatable to the masses any more! Except the one the 3 lady bears sang about being shook and basically dumped, I miss that one! 😅
:lmao:

You had what would be my perfect evening at MK! I love your new WtP shirt, it’s adorable.
It really was a wonderful evening. I did everything that makes me happy! 😊
Thanks for sending me that little clip, I do always love the Dapper Dans.
I thought of you right away! I love when we see them at Christmas time!
As August draws closer my heart is heavy as I think about not going to my happy place. Ugh, I know this is only for a season and I will be back again but I do feel sad about it all.
I’m sure! You have had an annual late August trip for quite sometime. We would have possibly overlapped! I hope you are enjoying your summer and your pictures at the cottage look lovely 😊
Pirates ride is aways a "must do". So is Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, People Mover and a bunch of other rides.
I agree definitely favorites and must dos each trip.
We enjoy the new show, too. I think the music is fun. :)
I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, more each time I have done the show!
I'm not surprised that you rode this alone. This is such a fast-moving ride that they often can't load a vehicle before it moves too far away.
Definitely and how awkward if they did try to double up this ride, I would object to that for sure!
A solo rider gets to avoid the question of what to do next. You just get to do it.
I really like that and I was less stressed about being solo this time around and probably enjoyed it the most so far!
I love these nachos, but I think I would have to going solo in order to get a chance to enjoy them
One of my all time favorites and what a good deal for Disney under $11.00, cheaper than most fast food places nowadays and 💯 x better!
First - that shirt is CUTE!!! You find the cutest things everywhere.
Thank you! Ilove the WtP gang and this was a breezy cool shirt not like a plain old tshirt!
Second - great afternoon/evening in MK. You got a lot done. I haven't been on COP in years!! I keep thinking I'm going to go, and then skip it. Maybe Thanksgiving??
It was a great evening. I enjoyed my time in MK and I do love CoP, you should definitely make time to see it at Thanksgiving!

Well going to Halloscream with MEK and Denny and Pat and Marv and a few others so that should scratch my Halloween itch.
I’m excited to hear about your experience at Sea World I have this Halloween event is really good!
I've been trolling DFB and the options at The Springs are dismal. Only a few on the 1 credit list I'd be interested in. We'd thrown out quite a few ideas on the phone the other day and only like 3 are on that list. Poop. After your trip we can look more carefully again.
I know, we will have to put our heads together and figure out the best bang for our buck!
Mhm.... Just looking for nostalgia but I'm fun enough for change and "new" too. Wish they'd just ADD stuff.
I wish it didn’t take them 10 years to add something ugh especially as I am getting older. I won’t be able to enjoy it by the time it happens. I will be an old lady 👵🏿 haha 😂
Keep checking! I'd totally be down for that!
I got Andi interested in it once she knew the drinks were unlimited and part of the package
FUN!!! Love Jaleo!
Same. A great place to eat and drink
I agree. So much wonderful visual aesthetic with great food nearby, animals, comfy rooms. Love it!
I have to say AKL is a favorite after the Epcot area resorts! I like AKL better than WL.
Long time!! Definitely you need a Fall time trip!
Very excited for a late October trip!
LOL! Now this I believe.
Yeah men don’t listen to directions
OH wow, I've never seen them inside singing. What a cool moment!
It was such a lovely experience and a surprise
1) HM
2) POTC
3) FoP
4) LwtL/SE
5) BTMRR
I love everything in your top 5, such great memories on all of these
Yep, solo is a pretty good thing now and then. :)
It was a wonderful experience and I am glad I decided to book this trip. It was last minute and it was perfect!

Haha 😂 I cut off the rest of your sentence. I will report back on the new adult club Geo82
I can think of worse ways of meeting your soulmate.
Very true. I think there is a singles meet up right on the Dis.
And here I've never even heard of it.
Eet is really a good Indian restaurant with spicy flavorful food. Andi loved it. I have only been once but would try again!

It is the backside of Gertie!

Hello there!

Today was Sunday 5/24 and my last full day of vacation.

My plans were for DHS in the morning, Epcot in the afternoon and a Dis meet in the evening!

I had FP$$ for DHS, my three picks today ToT, TSMM and MMRR. I didn’t rush because DHS is a nightmare at RD. I wish they would figure this out. This is by far the most chaotic park at RD. I decided to check out the small quick service stand by my room. It is called Spy Glass grill. I ordered a Shakin Jamaican iced coffee. They had Joffrey’s coffee and some breakfast sandwiches. I got the coffee and enjoyed this in my room with my banana and protein bar before heading to the Skyliner.

It was still chaotic at the park entrance even though it was about 15 minutes after RD. Today was cast previews for the new Villians and LM shows. I was tempted to ask if I could join in since I was solo but I didn’t.

My first ride was on ToT, the FP$ line was short and I was on the ride quick. Wow the hotel has a crazy elevator! Look how scared I look 👀
IMG_2025-07-18-151957.jpg
I booked a FP$ for Soarin at Epcot. I decided to go over to Batu and try the SR line again for Rise and score it was open with only a couple people in line. I was able to ride within about 15 minutes!
IMG_2025-07-18-160814.jpg
My next stop was Muppets courtyard. I lucked out and found a PP CM at the Miss Piggy fountain. I love these pictures! Chillin with Kermit!
IMG_2025-07-18-152036.jpg
IMG_2025-07-18-151821.jpg
I headed into my last show of The Muppets 3D
IMG_2025-07-18-151516.jpg
It was important to check for the key under the mat one more time! It was still there.
IMG_2025-07-18-151451.jpg
I loved the show and was really happy I got to enjoy it one last time!

I headed off to TSL to ride TSMM, once tapped in I made a FP$ for LwtL.

I actually got a cat this time, first time ever!! My score was 155,000! Yay! Beaver streak ends! Well probably just one time but hey I will take it! :rotfl:
IMG_2025-07-18-151743.jpg
I sent this picture to Andi and said “Look mom an ugly man doll” we love this line from Toy Story 2 about Stinky Pete! :lmao:
IMG_2025-07-18-152319.jpg
I finished up in TSL, happy with my score and walked around the lake and got a few pictures of Gertie’s backside! Why I have no idea 🤷‍♀️ I’m weird I guess!
IMG_2025-07-18-151330.jpg
It was time for my last FP$ here at DHS. I walked over to MMRR. I love this ride despite missing The Great Movie Ride. Andi and I loved GMR, it was a favorite and we have so many memories of the attraction.

I had a fun ride on MMRR and was called up quickly when they needed a party of one.

I slowly worked my way out of the park shopping in the stores as I went.

I had also made another FP$ for SE. My plan was taking the boat to Epcot, stay tuned for my Epcot afternoon and an evening Dis meet.

Highlights=Skyliner travel, SR on Rise, pictures in Muppet Courtyard, watching Muppets 3D, and getting my best score on TSMM!

Lowlights=The cluster called RD at DHS. I think that is it!

I wanted to let you know I was able to get a reservation for the Celebration at the top, the fireworks party at California Grille. I am really excited to experience this, and Andi was in with the all you care to enjoy alcohol haha 🤣

IMG_2025-07-18-165140.jpg
This was frustrating because it didn’t open to ADRs at my 60 day window and when it finally dropped the dates I wanted, it would not work, ugh 😑 Andi and I both tried for several days and it would let us pick the date but it would keep saying these dates are not available try another date even though I knew the dates had just been dropped. Finally three days after the dates dropped I was able to make the reservation. Disney sure makes it hard, at times, to give them money! :sad2:

I love your kermit shirt and kermit photo! I 100% agree with your assessment of Rope Drop at Hollywood Studios. I don't know why it's so bad. I thought it would help now that they let people in past the tapstiles but it doesn't help.

Congrats on scoring the Celebration at the Top! That's a bucket list item for me.

There is?? Had no idea!

That sounds good.

Ugh. You want to have fun but... in the back of your mind...
This is by far the most chaotic park at RD.
I remember when MFSR first opened and I did the RD run to it. Most nervous I've ever been at Disney. I knew anyone who fell would get stomped on.
Wow the hotel has a crazy elevator! Look how scared I look 👀

Not bad!

Like this pic of you :)
What a great magic shot!
It was important to check for the key under the mat one more time! It was still there.
<sigh>
I've known about that for years... and always forgot to look. Now it's too late.
I actually got a cat this time, first time ever!! My score was 155,000! Yay! Beaver streak ends!

I love this ride despite missing The Great Movie Ride.
That about sums it up.
I wanted to let you know I was able to get a reservation for the Celebration at the top, the fireworks party at California Grille.
Nice!

We have been to the Muppets many times and never thought to look under the mat.

That's a really good score! Congrats. :)
I walked over to MMRR. I love this ride despite missing The Great Movie Ride. Andi and I loved GMR, it was a favorite and we have so many memories of the attraction.
The Great Movie Ride was an amazing ride. It had great live action and lots of movie clips. But it was a long ride. I've noticed that Disney is removing those long rides, like this one and Ellen/Dinosaur ride at Epcot.

I’m excited to hear about your experience at Sea World I have this Halloween event is really good!
I really have no idea what to expect at all. When @Malia78 and I were there with Mary Ellen a couple (?) of years ago we saw the houses but that's about it.
I know, we will have to put our heads together and figure out the best bang for our buck!
Absolutely, sharing gets you twice the tastes for half the money! :D
I wish it didn’t take them 10 years to add something ugh especially as I am getting older. I won’t be able to enjoy it by the time it happens. I will be an old lady 👵🏿 haha 😂
Agreed! Life's too short to have then just shut stuff down.
I got Andi interested in it once she knew the drinks were unlimited and part of the package
Of course she did.
I have to say AKL is a favorite after the Epcot area resorts! I like AKL better than WL.
Me too. Although, Geyser Point scores big points.
DHS is a nightmare at RD. I wish they would figure this out.
It is. And last time I was trying to beat the crowd I pulled my hip extensor and hobbled the rest of the day.
Today was cast previews for the new Villians and LM shows.
I'm actually really excited to check those out.
:lmao:
I actually got a cat this time, first time ever!!
Say what?!
I wanted to let you know I was able to get a reservation for the Celebration at the top, the fireworks party at California Grille. I am really excited to experience this, and Andi was in with the all you care to enjoy alcohol haha 🤣
Woohoo!!

I love your kermit shirt and kermit photo! I 100% agree with your assessment of Rope Drop at Hollywood Studios. I don't know why it's so bad. I thought it would help now that they let people in past the tapstiles but it doesn't help.
Thank you! It is terrible to RD, I have to remember to get there for the early entry, only park I think it makes a difference. I was way back, like close to the security checkpoint at 9:15 :confused3 They had CMs yelling directions to people and no one was listening, just a cluster!
Congrats on scoring the Celebration at the Top! That's a bucket list item for me.
I’m really excited! I have watched several YouTube videos on the experience and all good reviews!
There is?? Had no idea!
I think on the community board here there is a single’s thread. I use to read TRs from a lady who posted on the community boards. Honestly I wasn’t trying to meet a single Disney person even though my husband won’t go to Disney haha 🤣
That sounds good.
Eet is delicious. If you ever return to Disney check it out!
Ugh. You want to have fun but... in the back of your mind...
I know, the trips fly by! Andi and I will be down there for 10 nights and guarantee that also flies by
I remember when MFSR first opened and I did the RD run to it. Most nervous I've ever been at Disney. I knew anyone who fell would get stomped on.
The cattle run is real, ugh! I hate it! Remember when everyone ran to get paper FP for TSMM!
What a great magic shot!
I loved seeing that one and glad I stopped! Such a great area Muppets Courtyard
I've known about that for years... and always forgot to look. Now it's too late.
I know! No more key under the mat, maybe it will be in the RnRc queue??
Hey! Look at you!
I was really proud of myself breaking out of my usual prize category on TSMM :cheer2:
I’m really excited to try this fancy Fireworks party! I was lucky to try the California Grill brunch and that was amazing! I wish they would bring that back!
We have been to the Muppets many times and never thought to look under the mat.
We did it only 1-2x so I knew I needed to look one last time!
That's a really good score! Congrats.
Thanks I was proud of myself!
The Great Movie Ride was an amazing ride. It had great live action and lots of movie clips. But it was a long ride. I've noticed that Disney is removing those long rides, like this one and Ellen/Dinosaur ride at Epcot.
I never thought if that but true these were all longer rides! We also loved the Backlot Tour! I remember riding the dinosaur ride in Epcot way before Ellen and we thought it was amazing!

I think on the community board here there is a single’s thread. I use to read TRs from a lady who posted on the community boards. Honestly I wasn’t trying to meet a single Disney person even though my husband won’t go to Disney haha 🤣
Eet is delicious. If you ever return to Disney check it out!
Okay! :)
The cattle run is real, ugh! I hate it! Remember when everyone ran to get paper FP for TSMM!
I do remember that. ::yes::
I know! No more key under the mat, maybe it will be in the RnRc queue??
That’d be nice. And the net too.
I’m really excited to try this fancy Fireworks party! I was lucky to try the California Grill brunch and that was amazing! I wish they would bring that back!
That brunch was soooo good. ::yes::

I really have no idea what to expect at all. When @Malia78 and I were there with Mary Ellen a couple (?) of years ago we saw the houses but that's about it.
I think it will be good and less crowded than HHN
Absolutely, sharing gets you twice the tastes for half the money!
💰 With the DP we will need to get the most of the “free” dining. It costs quite a bit more than an AP room only reservation so “free” I don’t think so!
Me too. Although, Geyser Point scores big points.
I love GP and the Huckleberry Punch from there, yum! Victoria Falls is a nice little lounge in AKL lobby.
It is. And last time I was trying to beat the crowd I pulled my hip extensor and hobbled the rest of the day.
Ouch! The running with the bulls is real especially at DHS
I'm actually really excited to check those out.
I am as well! I heard both shows are very good 👍 I see Disney is adding a new attraction in the launch bay. It will be some kind of experience! If we do a 2 credit meal I vote for Jiko!

When I left off, I was heading to the boat transportation at DHS. A boat was waiting, yay 😀 The boat transportation is a nice change from the other choices. It is a good way to relax a little before hitting up another park. I decided to get off at the YC/BC to walk through the two resorts and enjoy one of my favorite areas as I walked to the Epcot entrance.

My first stop in Epcot was France to check on a little rat!

I went to the SR line at Remy and score it wasn’t very long! Pro tip if you walk in and see a line not very far into the queue don’t stay, it will be quite long. If you don’t see anyone until just past Gusteau do it! It will be a short wait. ::yes::

I had a fun ride. I love the aroma in the kitchen scene.

My next stop was going to be the AP lounge in Morocco 🇲🇦

I wanted a picture with the Kermit and Miss Piggy topiary, awkward trying to get a selfie 🤳 so a nice woman asked if she could take the photo for me. Yes please! I thanked her and moved on to the lounge.
IMG_2025-07-20-204832.jpg
I was able to go directly in without a wait. The lounge is in the restaurant that used to be Marrakesh. This restaurant never reopened after the pandemic. There was ice water and snacks to enjoy and tons of seating. You could have a reprieve from the sweltering heat.

There was a PP CM taking some pictures. The line wasn’t very long so I waited for some pictures. I’m glad I did because the CM was wonderful and did several Magic shots.
IMG_2025-07-20-205223.jpg
Genie, I wish I could be in Disney everyday
IMG_2025-07-20-205121.jpg
Well Hello Abu!
IMG_2025-07-20-205151.jpg
Once I had a little rest and cooled down I headed out to Japan.

My plan was to try some food from the F&G booth here.

I wanted a festival favorite of mine, Frushi and to try a new dish.

The Ramen Cup-Ramen noodle salad shaken in a cup with fresh vegetables and grilled chicken served with yuzu soy vinaigrette and chili oil.

I took both my selections and went into the Japan pavilion in the back room with the Kawaii exhibit. I was able to sit on a bench and it was cool in there.

Sorry my Frushi picture is not very good, it was melting in the heat by the time I got inside and I ate some before the picture 😅
IMG_2025-07-20-204902.jpg
It is also hard to get a good picture of the Ramen Cup.
IMG_2025-07-20-204925.jpg
Both of these items were delicious. 😋 The cold items were the way to go with the heat outside.

Once I had my snack and a gallon of water 😃 I made my way to the front of the park, future world to me!

I rode LwtL and Soarin. Love both of these rides and I think today was when a random man got in the LwtL boat with me, just weird. I was in B1 on Soarin, yay!
IMG_2025-07-20-205015.jpg
I went in Club Cool and had a few samples of the drinks. I love the one that tastes like Juicy Fruit gum and the Kiwi one, very refreshing.

My next stop was at Creations to pick up my AP magnet which was Maleficent. They hadn’t run out of the magnets yet. I was happy to get this one since I do sometimes miss out being an out of state AP holder.

The skies were getting dark and threatening a storm. I did my last FP$ on SE and decided to walk out of the front of the park so I could see the Moana topiary.
IMG_2025-07-20-205051.jpg
I loved it. One thing about IG entrance is you can miss the beautiful front entrance of Epcot.

I headed out and took a Lyft back to the resort.

I made it back in time for the skies to open up! It stormed for several hours with some wicked thunder, lightning, and a deluge of rain! ☔

I spent the time going through some pictures and resting in the cool room.

I was texting with Stacy, she had arrived to PoP Century and was waiting out the storm.

We planned to meet up as soon as the Skyliner was running. It finally calmed down outside and I made my way to the Skyliner and headed to Riviera.

We met up at the beautiful mosaic tile art and headed to Bar Riva.

We found one open table, the place was busy.

It was really nice to visit with Stacy, she was just starting her trip and mine was coming to an end.

I had ordered a margarita and wasn’t paying attention while talking to Stacy and it had Mezcal in it so not my favorite.

I had the burger with an onion jam on it, this was delicious, I could only eat half. Our waiter was harried and I asked for ketchup like three times and he finally brought it out at the end of the meal. My fries were cold at that point and only lukewarm when they arrived. :sad2:

Stacy had a strawberry daiquiri and that looked much better to me than my drink.

A little disappointed in my beloved Bar Riva mainly because of our service. I did love the burger and loved meeting up with Stacy so a definite win!
IMG_2025-07-20-205311.jpg
Stacy was pretty tired after her long drive down to Florida so we said our goodbyes and I walked to the main lobby of CBR to pay off my resort bill with gift cards.

The CM at the front desk was awesome and we had a nice visit while she ran my gift cards. I usually put $1000 on each card so it doesn’t take long, but I had bought a bunch of $50 dollar ones with a promotion, so it took awhile.

Once my bill was paid off, I went to Banana Cabana to get the bread pudding to go.

I timed it perfect to see the finale of the Epcot fireworks 🧨

This bread pudding is house made coconut-pineapple with a caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.

I took the bread pudding back to my room and it was delicious. I loved it! I think this one might be my all time favorite. It is hard not to love a bread pudding and Disney does it well.
IMG_2025-07-20-205349.jpg
I had a wonderful day and again enjoyed touring on my own.

Highlights-SR line for Remy, enjoying my favorite Epcot attractions, AP lounge, fun PP pictures in the lounge, and meeting Stacy from the Dis

Lowlights-very hot 🥵, crazy afternoon storms, lackluster service at Bar Riva.

Stay tuned for my last day! My final Dis meet and enjoying Epcot one more time. :thumbsup2

💰 With the DP we will need to get the most of the “free” dining. It costs quite a bit more than an AP room only reservation so “free” I don’t think so!
For reals. But we're savvy planners and will tear this DDP up!
I love GP and the Huckleberry Punch from there, yum! Victoria Falls is a nice little lounge in AKL lobby.
I'm not sure I've ever even tried that lounge. HUH!
Ouch! The running with the bulls is real especially at DHS
And I didn't help trying to hot dog it.
I am as well! I heard both shows are very good 👍 I see Disney is adding a new attraction in the launch bay. It will be some kind of experience! If we do a 2 credit meal I vote for Jiko!
YES!! I've only ever been once when I took Anara on the Wanyama Tour many years ago. The food is sooooo good!
My next stop was going to be the AP lounge in Morocco 🇲🇦
I had no idea they'd turned this into a lounge. Not that I can go in it now, but didn't know!
The Ramen Cup-Ramen noodle salad shaken in a cup with fresh vegetables and grilled chicken served with yuzu soy vinaigrette and chili oil.
THAT sounds amazing! Yum!
I made it back in time for the skies to open up! It stormed for several hours with some wicked thunder, lightning, and a deluge of rain! ☔
My favorite kind of storm. I have some wonderful memories of watching Disney storms from the resort porches and windows.

The boat transportation is a nice change from the other choices. It is a good way to relax a little before hitting up another park.
Couldn't agree more. Love taking the boats. So relaxing in all the Disney craziness.
I decided to get off at the YC/BC
You know... I don't think I've ever been inside BC. Huh.
I went to the SR line at Remy and score it wasn’t very long!
:thumbsup2
I love the aroma in the kitchen scene.
There's an aroma?
1. Been a while.
2. Only ridden once or twice.
3. I have a poor sense of smell, anyways.
The lounge is in the restaurant that used to be Marrakesh. This restaurant never reopened after the pandemic.
Had no idea.
Like this one. You're facial expression says it all. :lmao:
Cute shot, too. :)
Once I had a little rest and cooled down I headed out to Japan.
My fave pavilion. :)
The Ramen Cup-Ramen noodle salad shaken in a cup with fresh vegetables and grilled chicken served with yuzu soy vinaigrette and chili oil.
That sounds good. But surprised it was cold. Then again... it does say "salad", so... of course it was.
I think today was when a random man got in the LwtL boat with me, just weird.
Disney matchmaking for singles in full force!
I was in B1 on Soarin, yay!
Yuss
I made it back in time for the skies to open up! It stormed for several hours with some wicked thunder, lightning, and a deluge of rain! ☔
Pretty good timing. :)
It was really nice to visit with Stacy, she was just starting her trip and mine was coming to an end.
That's always a bit... of an odd Dismeet, I've found. You've got melancholy on one side and excitement on the other.
I had the burger with an onion jam on it, this was delicious,
That sounds good!
I asked for ketchup like three times and he finally brought it out at the end of the meal. My fries were cold at that point and only lukewarm when they arrived. :sad2:
:sad2:
Presume the tip wasn't overly generous.
Stacy was pretty tired after her long drive down to Florida
I don't know Stacy. Where did she drive from?
I went to Banana Cabana to get the bread pudding to go.
I read this and got all excited, until...
This bread pudding is house made coconut
...I read that.

Nope!

I had the best time meeting you in person and having dinner! You know, I forgot that you had to ask for ketchup that many times. It was busy but come on. If you are a server at Disney, you have to know it's going to be busy and figure out your stuff!!! And that picture - I still look like a drowned rat. I'm surprised you didn't just nope right out as I was walking toward you!

You had a great afternoon at Epcot. I've only done single rider for Remy once but I think I will make it a priority at Thanksgiving.

My next stop was going to be the AP lounge in Morocco 🇲🇦
We never made it to this lounge. I would have liked to get some freebies. :)

I loved it. One thing about IG entrance is you can miss the beautiful front entrance of Epcot.
We used to stay almost exclusively at YC or BC. We seldom made it to the front of Epcot. There was no reason to go there.
I headed out and took a Lyft back to the resort.
Does the Lyft drop you off at the building you are staying in?
Lowlights-very hot 🥵, crazy afternoon storms, lackluster service at Bar Riva.
The thunderstorms have a way of ruining the plans. We never made it to Epcot for our Remi fp because of them.
