so, I just spent 2 hours with my friend eating ham and asparagus crepes with rosemary potatoes and a big piece of french toast with pecan butter. :lovestruc I got to drink hot coffee and ask my friend all about s3x after a hysto. We talked about so many things we never would have gotten to talk about with our 6 kids there! ;) It was so nice.
I also went to the library and got two movies I know no one else will want to watch with me (Guys and Dolls & The First Wives Club) and 5 Janet Evanovich books. I read all her mysteries. I think these are more love stories. :confused3

Anyway, I started bleeding yesterday even though I'm on the pill. This is the second time I've done that in 10 days. I take pills 3 mos straight to have less AF so the endo won't be stirred as much, but it doesn't seem to matter. :(

B called me a few minutes ago to ask me to tell my mom she started and needs to go to the store. Poor thing. She's too embarassed. I'm glad she felt she could call me though. She's not due until the 27th, so she must be tuning into my wonky (like that, Jo?) hormones.

I guess I'm going to take meds, and let the nurse know about the bleeding. Then maybe I'll read or watch a movie. See? I'm following Dr. Jo's orders! ;)

Dawn- The good thing is your kiddos are old enough to not need to be held or carried. That is a tough one with abdominal surgery. ::yes:: You are just gonna have to take Jens advice and put your MOTHA in her place! That is that!

Ohhh... you dirty mind, you. Mel's got a meat store...:rotfl2: Did you hear that Mel? :lmao:

BTW, how sweet was it that Mel's son bought HER lunch! Awwww...

Kat- You keep talking about Twilight. I am pretty out of the book loop. What was it about? Mystery? I could use a good summer book. That is beyond Disney, summer book.;)

I am guessing no more than 2 weeks.. maybe only one.
:thumbsup2 Thanks! He has 7 days paid, so I'm hoping he'll only need that much off. Plus, my surgery is on a Friday.

:rotfl2: I'm about to put jammies on now. I have no plans to leave the house today. I did leave a mesage for the nurse letting her know about the bleeding. :( I wonder if she'll call me back. I think they're sick of me. :furious:

Also- it's my MIL that's making me nuts. She's normally fine, though. Since the kids are gone, I haven't talked to her this week again.

How is it going Mel.. Losing anything ??

Yeah, that's the thing. I don't know. I don't own a scale. I think they are bad for your psyche. So, I won't have any clue till my pants are lose....or rather when they aren't so tight that when I sit down I say, "OMG. Can't BREATHE!!!".....

Ok?

I don't know what happened, but my quotes went all screwy and I don't have time to go back... so HI all!

One thing I remember, though... Curly Hair...

Welcome to my world. I've spent the greater part of the last 10-ish years testing products, looking for the perfect regimen to get great curls. And, I think I found it!

Post-shower, I towel dry and spritz some Ion Anti-Frizz Leave-In conditioner (from Sally Beauty Supply) in it, then comb through with a wide-tooth comb. Next, I apply a dime-sized (my hair's chin-length) blob of Redken Outshine 01 Anti-Frizz Polishing Milk, running it through to the ends - less deposited at the roots. Last comes the John Frieda Take Charge Style-Managing Mouse, a palmful applied with "piano fingers" (spread out) form roots to tips and worked through. I srunch and arrange to where I want it all, then the final step.... DON'T TOUCH IT AGAIN!!!! Touch is the kiss of death to curls. They must be left alone until ready to wash. ::yes::

All of the above takes about 5 minutes, which is nice. Compared to a blow-out which takes 45 minutes out of my day. :faint:

Thanks! That's great. I generally do what you said (wide-toothed comb, mouse, etc.) but with different product. When this stufff's gone, I'm going to try the ones you suggested. :thumbsup2

Poor BA---she had an all over body rash last evening---I called the hospital and the nurse thought it was a reaction to the Prednisone (which she had never had before). Plus she was super-hyper (and got anxious when I called the hospital). But her breathing was fine.......gave her Benadryl.....and the rash faded overnite.
Of course, back on the dose pack today so will have to watch.

WHY DO WE ALWAYS GET SICK/INJURED PRIOR TO VACATION???

Poor thing. Jimmy had a reaction like that to anti-biotic once. Of ocurse new momma that I was went barrelling into the pediatricians office thinking he was going to die. She gave him a shot of benydryl (He was 6 months old) and the rash was gone in less than an hour:rolleyes1

Just got my Medieval times tickets!!! Got 2 adult tickets free for the Fathers Day show!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Good deal:thumbsup2 I can't remember, is this a family vacay or are you going there for a cheerleading comp:confused3

Do... your.. b00bs hang low, do they wobble to and fro...

"I can thow 'em over my shoulder like a Continential Solder"
and that's the way they like to stay:lmao:

But can you tie them in a knot or tie them in a bow:eek: :lmao:

OK ladies, you may all pat me on the back now::yes:: I cleaned my entire upstairs (granted my entire upstairs is 3 rooms and a hallway, but that doen's matter;) ). I moved furniture, bagged up some more books for the fall garage sale. Bagged up some more clothes to be donated or things that Jimmy has outgrown that I give to my girlfriend for her son who is 2. I changed all the sheets, vacuumed and dusted every nook and crany..I EVEN DID WINDOWS:faint:

That's it for today::yes:: I am going to hang out here on the DIs for a couple of minutes and then take a shower and meet Jim to pick up Jimmy at school. Depending on how Jimmy is feeling I may have Jim take us to the diner for dinner...I think I deserve it, I did alot today::yes::

V - 45 minutes to blow dry your hair :scared1: This is why I get mine cut super short. Blow dry takes less than 5 minutes:thumbsup2

OH! That's right - Prednisone... makes me hyper, too. I've never felt better than when I was all jacked up on steroids last bout of pneumonia! :rotfl2:

I brought Jon in and showed him all of his b-day wishes and asked him what he would like to say. He says:

"Thank you ma'ams." :lmao:
Awww sweet :goodvibes Oh and I've bought the girls a pressie that they already had before too :rotfl:

Every once in awhile Tink decides her daddy is too loud and slams her hands on her hips and yells, "STOP SNOOWING DADDEEEE!" :thumbsup2
Hilarious :rotfl2:

Tonight (or tomorrow) Kc is getting the new Metal gear game (and his playstation 3) and that means I don't get the TV but I get more PC time since he already warned me he doesn't plan to sleep. Joy.
Not go to sleep???? Do you have a seperate bedroom or all in one room? Will he disturb your sleep?

Hey, man... they just don't sit where they're supposed to when you wear EEs!!! :rotfl2:

Jess has gone to Guides and they're doing a chip shop walk, yep the whole session involves walking to the chip shop, buying chips, eating them and walking back. Sounds good to me :lmao:

But can you tie them in a knot or tie them in a bow:eek: :lmao:
I don't know... but I bet I could buckle them in a belt if I was to wear a belt! :rotfl2:

:faint: Wow! You're good, girl! Doesn't it feel good to have it done? :lovestruc It's driving me nuts that I can't clean things out without making myself feel worse.
I'm going to wait to bid on some curriculum on eBay and then head for bed for a rest. Keep chatting, girls. We got to make 250 pages by June 18th even if I chat to my own self! ;)

It does feel good. Tomorrow I will do the downstairs and then it will all be done! I don't don't do this kidsing of cleaning but 2 or 3 times a year - the pull everything out of the closet, etc (you may all throw tomatoes now;) ). I do dust, vacuum, bathrooms etc weekly, but this kind of cleaning I usually have to do on the weekends, so it is nice to not have my weekend tied up
:thumbsup2

Oh my poor thing, she's started young, as you say it's great she can talk to you :goodvibes
::yes:: She started for the first time in December. She's not due to start yet, so I didn't send anything to Grandma's. I feel bad. I hate for her to be embarassed. :worried:
When we talked about my surgery a bit she said she wishes she could have menopause too. :lmao:

Surprise, surprise... the nurse did call me back. She's going to let the doctor know how I'm feeling and call me back. I'm not going hold my breath, though.

We have one room..... yeah.

HSM--> Feel better!:hug:

I'm off to dye my hair, which I never got around to yesterday!

No tomatoes from me.
I like to do the same thing, especially in the kids' rooms! :faint:

Kat, isn't Twilight awesome! You really love the next two books, Eclipse probably more so than New Moon, at least that was my experience with them. I'm rereading Twilight right now for a book discussion. I can't wait for August 1st!
