CE - caveat: I'm all about simplicity when it comes to dressing up, so take my opinion with a grain of salt! ;) I really like the shape and drape of the first style on you. It looks like it flows beautifully, hugging curves when it moves without being overly tight. I totally think you could wear it, or look for a similar shape and fabric - maybe sleeveless to show off your tennis arms? As for dressing it up, easy-peasy: strappy sandals and either a crazy-interesting piece of jewelry or crazy-interesting clutch bag. :thumbsup2

And, for the record, I'm insanely jealous that you get to go to an event at the Art Institute. ;)

Hi everyone!

CE- The top two are my fav. As Debra said, I'd for sure add some jewels to the mix on both. Shorter layered necklace with the chocolate one and a few layered long chains with the merlot. I agree to add some hip strappy sandals too. You are a hot momma girlfriend... work it! :)

Kat- Smart to think ahead with the schedule.:thumbsup2

DAWN- How do you survive that heat? :confused3

Angela- Beautiful ring. I like the setting a lot. :thumbsup2

Miz Diz- Great news about baby girl! :thumbsup2 I with I didn't have to pay for TINK's preschool. :)

Rosie- Who's picking on us? I see no reason to pick on us... we mind our own business. :)

S'late- Great news that they caught the killer. I hope you feel safer.

Hi Ho to everyone! My brain is fried today.
-----------------------------------

TINK's photo shoot went well. I am very excited to see how they turned out. I think she took direction pretty well for the first time ever working with a photographer. :)

DH took TINK to the beach this AM and I dropped ds son off at a playdate, which the mom, my good friend Missy lent me the next 2 books from the Twilight series. She is re-reading the 4th, then will let me read. :cool1:

The kids had a b-day party at Pump it Up tonight (inflatable warehouse thingy). It starts at 6:45 and states Pizza and cake will be served. I'm a bit concerned that it will be a really late PM. DS has a baseball game bright and early tomorrow... and he needs to do a good job... considering last game he was totally lethargic and sat on the field. :headache: He is too old for that!

I'm off for a pedicure and start New Moon. Have a great day girls!

Not feeling any safer or less angry:

from another local news channel:

"He has a friend that has ties to that mobile home so he was staying there part time in and out, but basically he was homeless," Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said.

Harrison also said the owner of the mobile home was a friend and co-worker of Clark's.

So, my friends, those low life, POS rednecks invited this beast into our area.

"Something like the long black one, but more jewelry" or whatever. ;)
I'll be happy to help you with jewelry. :thumbsup2 I :lovestruc jewelry.

Got a phone call this morning saying Baby Girl was accepted into the Pre-K program.
:cool1: It's free here too but have no idea how the program works.

Today is home made calzone night.
Yum! :goodvibes

How fun for her. :)

What is it with those people? They have kids too. :confused3

Mitch and I took the cats to the vet and actually it wasn't too bad. One of them has the red flag on his chart so the assistants have to wear ovenmits, and he sleeps on my pillow. :confused3 Mel, Mitch has an extra ticket for Daytona. Want to come down? I think we're going out for Mexican which is good since it's casual and I have cat hair all over me. :rotfl:

Angela,

I don't know what is wrong with those people.

Sounds fun. I could make some other comments, but I'll refrain.
Like what Mary? :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Got a phone call this morning saying Baby Girl was accepted into the Pre-K program. Pre-K is state funded here and the classes are in the daycare centers, but space is limited and it is a lottery to get in. If you don't get accepted, you have to pay for Private Pre-K or homeschool. Baby Girl has been talking about going to school and has been sooo excited about it, so I'm glad she got in somewhere. I wouldn't have minded the homeschooling, but she would have been disappointed. She is taking speech therapy now - 2 days a week for 30 minutes and she is loving it.
I'm so pleased!

Today is home made calzone night. Pants took us to dinner so we are doing the calzones today. Got the dough and everything already. I am excited.
Hope they turn out good, BTW read read below :thumbsup2

What did he do before????

I played golf today, yep I know you know but I forgot one detail that a few of you ie Kat may be impressed with :rotfl2: Playing in front of us was Draco Malfoy from HP Grandad, impressed? :rotfl: He's a member at my club and we were moaning about him and his playing partner the whole way round as they were sooooo slow :rotfl:

Tomorrow is our school fair and I wasn't going to volunteer for the first time in years, thought I'd actually enjoy the fair with the girls as it's Ellie's last one. Well I saw the list of stalls and hardly any helpers so I ended up signing up :sad2: I'm doing the food tombola so pretty easy :thumbsup2

CE- I think either of the first dresses (I'm leaning towards the first one) are great. Pick up some new trendy type jewelry to dress it up and you have a modern look.

OK, thanks. :thumbsup2

I'm tired. Last night we discussed trying to work on a new schedule so once I start working again we aren't ready to kill each other. KC gets up 1/2 hour before he leaves for work, me not so much. So we are working on it. Also he wants to start a workout program and we heatedly discussed what I can and can't do and when and where he can do this. We'll see what happens.

Good luck! I know how schedules can make things screwy, but at least we can "get away" from each other in the house.

See, me, too. And yes, I love the fit of the brown dress. So it or something like it would work. ::yes:: Thanks!

I am VERY psyched about the Art Institute. :cool1:

**************************************************
We wound up with an interesting day. My friend called, and she was heading to the gym to watch the tennis. So, we went, got there just as it was clouding up, and watched about half a match (and not with the pros we wanted to see) and then it opened up. We took the kids swimming at the indoor pool, and then it looked like they were going to play inside instead. But then the kids were kind of stuck with nothing much to do, and the pros' matches hadn't started yet, so we just left. Sigh.

We went to the grocery store and then I cut the boys' hair for the first time myself. They've had showers and now I need to think about dinner. It's usually pizza night, but we've decided to grill - because of course, as soon as we came out of the grocery store, the sun was beating down again. :rotfl2:

D just came home, so I'm out for a while.

I thought Pump It up was a local thing to Birmingham?

You sound like me. Every time I say I am not going to volunteer...

Oh and probably TMI but I have golfers a$$ It's all sore :rotfl:
:scared1:

I think I am not caught up with all of my subscribed TRs and PTRs. If you are writing one and I didn't post there today then please post the link for me.

Zeta wants to invite people over tonight. OUr house is waaaay too dirty for that and we only had Tau this week! Tomorrow we are going to Atlanta and are seeing Dane Cook. He's raunchy I know but we still think he is hysterical. Plus we are staying the night
The bad news is that he told me this is his birthday present. So I guess that means we are really NOT going to US :headache:
Oh well. I guess I can't have my way all the time

...

Or can I?

MooAh aha ha ha ha ha! (that was an evil laugh in case I didn't get the spelling just right LOL)

Hey I'm impressed! :goodvibes I love HP.

Please explain how that happens when you stand to golf! :rotfl2:

The cat hisses and growls at everyone but us. We think he was away from his mother too early and now thinks we are his m other. Really, he's so cute! :goodvibes He got out and bit my mom whilst she was trying to get him back in. I wasn't home or I would have gotten him.

So, just as an idea, what do we think of this one? It's probably the same material as the brown one, and has the same shapes. It's got a touch of glitz on the neckline. :confused3 I kind of like it, and it's as Macy's, so I might actually be able to find it.

Look what I got today...
DisneyPhotopass2009112.jpg

I tried to get a better picture of him, but he's always under my feet! :lmao:
He looks like a giant! LOL

puppys so cute!

I only scimmed the last page or so.

Im moving out in 2 weeks! We filled out an application and everything so far. It looks like one of the cats and the guinea pig will be illegal though.:rolleyes1 We got a good deal that was only lasting this weekend. the rent was reduced by about $200/month. Well be paying double rent on the 2 places until the end of august, but it ended up to be cheaper because i got an axtra $300 bonus today too.

G2G marc and i are watching phantom of the opera

CelBel - glad you are moving out. I think you and Marc need your privacy. Have fun at the Opera

Dawn, cute puppies. I almost bought one at wal-mart (in the parking lot) this week. Shhh don't tell Zeta he hates pets

CE - LOVE the dress. Me says go for it!

I had thought about it some, but not seriously. Then we went to PetSmart today and the kids were begging for a kitty. I didn't want a cat, but then I thought it wouldn't be a big deal to get a dog, since we already have one. Riley seems to be happy with him.
They keep going outside and chasing each other. :rotfl2: It's very entertaining.

I'm definitely going to try to try it on. :thumbsup2

Very good. Buzz wants a cat, but I am allergic to about 70% of cats. Maybe when Linus is gone... Because yeah, he'd eat a kitten. :) But we'll have to be careful.

I hate to say it, because I always had a dog growing up, but I don't want another dog when he's gone. It's just too much of a hassle for us. My parents rarely traveled, and when they did, my grandparents lived across the street. My dad took the dogs everywhere, so they were never home alone... It's just not the way we are, and so even when we're on the boat all day, we have to either take him with or arrange for care. It's too much. :guilty:

Cute Puppy Dawn!

Debra- Pump it Up's are around the country, but not in every state. Maybe they are a franchise???:confused3

FOr sure try it on CE!

Jo's Butt hurts. :rotfl2: sorry jo! ;)

-----------------------
Pump it Up Party was good. It started at 6:45, the kids jumped first, then ate at 8 PM! They were all starving! But at least a good time was had by all!

I'm heading to bed to read me more Bella & Edward. We have baseball first thing in the AM. DH is putting the kids to bed, as I type!:worship:

DH is running a Triathlon on Sunday, so I'm not sure what prep we need to get ready for that tomorrow. It's his first. :scared1:

Have a great night ladies (and gent).
