My dad decided today that he is retiring and moving to FL. I guess it'll be next week, or the following, heck maybe even in a month.

Hey all. Just a quick drive by, becasue I'm not supposed to be on the computer. SO, I don't have pink eye. I have Iriscitius (sp). Basically I have the same thing Mel has. Pressure on the tissue behind the eyes. The doctor said 90% of the time it's not caused by anything, but it's the other 10% they get concerned about. (Glaucoma, Lyme disease, diabetes)

I’ve been fighting a migraine since yesterday afternoon. It’s enough to make feel nauseous every once in a while.

My neighbor came up with an extra pair of khaki pants and a sport coat - if my other neighbor has one, I'll have the boys their rehearsal dinner clothes without buying them! But we'll need to do something about shoes - the dress shoes we bought in Oct. for my grandpa's funeral no longer work. Sigh. Darn kids, growing and all...

Well I'm home and had a nice welcome home pressie, I was about to hang out some washing/laundry when a wasp stung me on my finger!!! I'm quite allergic so I ran indoors shouted to D to get me antihistamine and laid on the sofa with my arm in the air for about 30 minutes It worked though as hasn't hardly swelled but did throb for about 4 hours!

The nice thing with the trust my parents have is that it pays for the house and all the utilities. The only thing I'm left to pay for are groceries, kids activities, gas for my car, etc. My brother *may* move in with us but the kids and I may cramp his style. But, I'm looking foward to it just being the kids and I. The one thing I'm really looking foward to is that I get to take over the master bedroom and the HUGE walk-in closet.

Summer has finally hit us! We've had a few days here and there when it's been in the 90's but never with the humidity. I just took the trash and and WHAM! the heat and humidity just hit me right in the face. The kids were outside playing and I was like how can you stand to be out here?!?!

We aren't doing too much today. I have some homework to do for math class tomorrow, finish up on one load of laudry, and play with the kids outside in the sprinklers.

Looking forward to the trip reports and need to go catch up on the current ones!

Life is just super busy lately. Had to go to Boston this week for work and it seems everytime I fly lately I get sick, sure enough I feel like carp this weekend. I literally slept all day and feel ready to go to bed even now.

My waitlist for Turkey day came through, so I am booked 4 nights at SSR. Just waiting for the CP packages to come out. Murph may join me now. Bonnie wasn't booked for that weekend so I asked her to put me down for a 4night sleepover with the boys. I told Murph and she seems very interested in coming. I think she would love the decorations and CP.

I am now at the 34 day mark for my September trip and I really feel like I need this one. My plan is:

Sat/Sun Universal and IOA (staying at HRH on Sat night)
Sun - check into BWV, maybe go to MK for Wishes
Monday - Epcot and supposed to meet up with other Dis'sers for an Illuminations cruise
Tuesday - mostly lazy day and MNSSHP
Wed - DHS morning, lazy afternoon and AK EMH
Thurs - Seaworld - can't wait to ride Manta, if I feel up to maybe head over for Wishes if I didn't see it Sunday
Fri - Water Park, lots of lazy river time and Epcot evening
Sat - Fly home

I am planning on a live trip report this time, maybe I will finish it as I never finished the last 2 WDW ones.

ROSIE had a surprise appreciation day from her staff and consumers. She also had a peaceful day at home on Sunday!

DAWN did dinner with her cousins Sunday. They will be leaving for the beach on Thursday.

JO is allergic to wasps. She was stung while getting her laundry hung up. Her meds worked great.

I am going to have lunch with my aunt on Tue. or Wed.

Rockie's family has decided to go to WDW next June. She wants me to help her with the $$$$ and plans. Her DH is a retired AF man so they will stay at Shades. I told her to go ahead a book a room now. I'm calling her tomorrow to get some details.

I need to call my brother and see how he did in Gatlinburg with the Fiancé and the kids.

I have to get cought up on TRs.

I have to get the resort rates done over on Enchanted.

I need to go visit Rockie's mom in the nursing home.

I still need a few more items for the WDW trip.

Oh and Douglas said that the grill he wants is on sale for $100 off. I told him no. However, our anniversary and his birthday are coming up. So I might just go get it for him and hide it at his mom's until Sept 12th.

I need more time and money!

Other than that I'll be doing household chores and fix-its in between thunder storms.

Well, it's another boring summer day at Chez Mel. Not much going on. I'm doing some laundry. I planned out the next 10 days of meals because the In-laws arrive on Thursday.
Thursday is also Gus' birthday party at the Wave Pool. It's gonna be fun, and I am barely doing any planning other than getting a small platter of sammies from Subway. I might make cupcakes too. He's 12 so he doesn't want a big fuss. Fine with me! Way easier.

I think this afternoon I will bring the boys to the club for swimming. I hope to squeeze in a small elliptical workout too. Wednesday is Varsity Tennis tryouts for SD. He's really shy (and doesn't like the competetion part of sports) so this is a HUGE deal. I hope he makes the team. I'd love to see him participate in something!

Dawn's family is visiting so I don't have my usual partner in crime to blab to. This means you'll be seeing me alot more....

I had my midterm test this morning in Keyboarding. It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be but we'll see how I did come Wednesday when I get it back. I only have one more class left in there and then the final (so technically two) and will be done with that class. The kids and I will have a few more weeks to sleep in before we have to start all over again. I'm happy about that and I know they will be too.

Not much else to report. Just class later this afternoon and then home to study.

Well, we finally got the kitchen all packed up and we're ready for the demo tomorrow. I had a major anxiety attack yesterday and was so ready to just change my mind. The way our house is set up, with the construction going on, our great room will not be easily accessable and that's our main living area. I'm freaking out about being stuck in our bedrooms, formal living room, and office.

At least I don't have to cook.

I'm off to Target to get some plastic forks, spoons, etc. and lots and lots of liquid courage.

I'm amazed at how many kids are heading back to school! We still have just under a month out for us.

Tink had dance camp this AM. She was in class with 5-7 year olds and I think she was more on task than everyone in the class.

I'm in a cleaning mood. I have been working on the entire house.... Windows, floors, carpets, blinds, fridge, cupboards and on and on. Summer is finally here and it came with a vengeance! It went from 70- low eighties with low humidity to high 80-90's with high humidity in just a few hours! I shouldn't complain, since the summer really has been pleasant thus far.

J- you know about the swine flu (her child possibly)+ her aunt died while she was there.
L-baby in the hospital with urinary tract infection.
R-thought she had a stroke, but ended up being pinched nerve.
C-was bike riding her bike with boyfriend. Fell into a road construction hole that was as tall as she is…she is fine only bruises and scrapes.

I wanted to comment on your new bags! I have the exact same hipster in Bali Blue and I love it! It goes with everything! Oh and I saw a girl with a small backpack in Purple Punch, and I have to admit, I didn't like the color on the internet, but I loved it IRL. It's really, really nice. I'm sure you'll just love them both.

I LOVE them! I wanna switch everyday to use them. I am obsessed with VB Bags! They are so my style, so comphy. I got great deals on ebay for them too. They were my "I got a job and can buy myself something nice" gift. I think I ma bringing the hipster to WDW in Oct.

Oh lord has it been a loooong few days. Some arguing with KC, bi time. He holds things in too much and when he decides to let it out he goes to the extreme. So we spent all of last night talking it out and things are looking better. We are trying to set aside time every week so we can talk more from the heart and not let it build up. I can't go on this roller coaster anymore- it needs to be fixed.

So today I am just catching up on the crap-top (sloooowly) and relaxing. KC is working from home so we can continue our talking some more. Dinner is alread made because I cooked like a madwoman yesterday. I made sauce and meatballs and tuna burgers for lunches and an orzo salad too.
