Don't tell anyone...but I totally just "got it" too...:headache: :lmao:

Easy on the trampolining lady.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, our schools start here in a little less than two weeks. My baby is going to junior high.
You know you're all going to have to fan me and keep me from fainting on that day! :faint:
So, anywho...the schools call me today...the counselor at the junior high...and informed me that they had apparently decided to place Jonathon in the functional classroom at our other junior high. Because he requires so much assistance...they felt it would be better to place him with the most severely disabled children in the district. :mad:
It even happens to me...and I'm a sped expert in a way...where the schools fart things up and jack around with your kids educational program.
Yes...I got it straightened out...and everything will work out.
They were basically putting him in a classroom with children who are nonverbal, or nonambulatory...the most severely impacted children in our district.
Wow. What a vote of confidence in my son.
I'm so glad I don't work for this district anymore. :sad2:
Is that Post Disney Depression?!?!:rotfl:
Yep...:sad2:
Why...oh wait I kow why, becasue it will be cheaper for them:sad2:
Hidey ho!!!
Lori - I hope the 'bum' comes through with the money for you. I hate it when someone has to cancel their trip!
World Bouncer - :welcome: Can the Fockers handle another Hoosier??? Tell us about yourself.
Lessa - :bday: Sorry it's late.
Jo - My B-day is May 25th.
Katt - Can't wait to hear all about the trip when you get back.
Dawn - Congrats on the new vehicle. Very nice!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
My BFF from Ohio and her family are staying with us on the 9th of Aug. I'll have to do some cleaning up. I've got WDW projects strung out all over my dining room table. I know she could care less if my place was a sty. But I am female!!!! Things must be cleaned up!!!!
The girls, 3 teens, want to stay in the 'castle room'. At least it's clean. It's just a spare room in the basement with a medieval theme. We keep the PC down there. I'll probably have to lock it out. I'll post pics of the room sometime.
Her husband was in the AF. They have been in Italy for the last 4 years. This will be the first time they have stayed at my place!!! I'm excited. I'm actually thinking of doing a bounce back with her to WDW next year. We'll see!!??
'til tomorrow, Fockers!!!
Hello, all. I read and caught up all day but am feeling too lazy to quote. :rotfl:
Jen, glad you got it sorted.
Kristel, have fun with your friend. Your b-day is my mom's! :goodvibes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So...

I don't know much. I got my packing done for the weekend. It was nice, because last weekend I had to haul everything from my MIL's since we were coming straight down here to my mom's. This time we're traveling light for the weekend, since we're coming back.

I still made a list though. Maybe that will make up for me with T, from giving her the heart attack on the PTR. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I'm doing some laundry. It's not stuff I need for the weekend, but just stuff that will be nice to have clean when we return (and even head home! :thumbsup2 )

And that's about it. Woohoo... :lmao:

It's funny, even though I'm on my own computer, I just feel odd doing computer stuff here. I am looking forward to being home if for that reason, only. I have NO problem sitting on my own couch on the computer all day. ;)

At any rate, I'll probably check back in before bed, but now I feel the compulsion to go see what, if anything, I can do for or with my mother.

HWhy don't I live in Florida :confused3
Because it is hotter than the bajeebers!

Thats Why!

CE- We'll see you soon, back on your own couch! Now get home safely please.

Jen, Jen- What were they thinking? I am really glad you got it all worked out.

Kristel- A castle room???? hmmmm... Feeling a bit medieval?

Dawn- Take it easy Nellie, you just got the OKAY to swim with the big boys.

T- I hope today was full of wonderful memories and closure. :hug: :hug: He is at peace now. :hug:

I LOVE me some baklava (I'm greek) and I made it only once ever, it came out good tho!

KC cooked dinner today...pollo guisado...chicken stew-ish. It came out really good. It's pretty much his only dish, but its good so I'm not complaining. I made rice pudding for dessert.

I am just trying to make as many plans as I can for the next few weeks to kill the time! We are leaving early in the afternoon tomorrow for lunch at rad Lobster before the concert/signing and then the midnight release. KC works from home sat so I won't be on till after 5pm sat if I can tear myself away from Breaking Dawn!

So have a great weekend everbody!

Hello! I`m just popping in quick..appearently the dog had some energy while i was working and ran over my usb port, so I am using the onscreen keyboard..ugggg!!! I`ll be back tomorrow after a trip to Staples.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good Morning everyone. It's the end of the week and it was a much better one than last ::yes::

What are everyone's plans for the weekend?

WE are taking Jimmy to the historic area. Jodi and Dawn got me thinking about it and made me realize that we live here and NEVER go to the historic district. There is a place called Franklin Square (Named after Ben Franklin of course;) ) where they have a playground and lots of other things for the kids to do. All themed to the history of our city and our nation:thumbsup2 Will take lots of pics to share with you guys.

Will be around most of today though!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

:tiptoe: Here I am, tip-toeing into August. Let's hope it's better than the end of July was.

Mel, good luck today. :goodvibes

Thanks Kate! I'm cleaning this morning and then leaving around noon for my appt. I'm nervous, but hoping for good news.

MEL
YAY! It's August!:banana:

For you Mel

GOOD MORNING!
Rise and Shine with the Morning Sun!!!

Thought I'd start the day off with a bang! We are hanging out for awhile, then we have tennis lessons. My DH is going camping with my ds (first time EVER in a tent):eek: . Notice~ Jen is NOT and I repeat NOT attending. :scared1: This momma likes her 4 walls and a bed. Plus it's great bonding time for the guys of the house.

I was thinking maybe I'd take Tink shopping. ??? But she still is a little runner and zooms away from me as fast as she can when I go to pick something else up... I really should have bought her a leash a few years a go. The were invented for children like her!

Mel, Ms. Mel- GOOD LUCK TODAY! We will be waiting to hear how it goes. :hug:

Janet- Shame, shame... you get that boy out and start turning him to a history buff NOW! ;) I bet he'll really enjoy the play area!

:snooty: Not nearly as exciting as the version I had in my head... :
Sorry :rotfl2:

I agree with Dawn. Not nearly as scandalous as I hoped Jo. ;)
Oh dear, maybe I'll have to make stuff up next time :rotfl2:

Jo - an affair, details, NOW! (was it with a Brit?:lmao: )
See a few pages back Mo :) Good to see you BTW!

Keep those fingers crossed, Fockers!
Good luck Mel :hug:

"You dont want to do this just so you can go to that IP DIP thing do you?" uhhh,,no honey of course not!! ;) I will be figuring that in with the equation though!! I do think he wants to go just for the adults only time away and meet other people and have a good adult time!
So is there a chance you can still go???? Love the number plate too!

Carrie- There may be trampoling tonight if I get a new car!!! :rotfl2: It's a system that works well for me.
Oh Dawn :rotfl2: and wow that's a big car to learn to drive in!!

OMG!!! I just figured out what tramplolining was supposed to mean!!! [/SIZE]
I thought it was actual trampolining!!!!
:rotfl2:

DH has had no more seizures. Keep your fingers crossed. He will be off work until the doctor sends in the approval notice. I hope that is soon.
How fantastic :goodvibes

we will be able to pay 95 percent of our debt off.
:yay:

He wrote her a note that says "I love you." I don't get these notes... :rotfl:
How cute!

Maybe the man is just lonely. No?
Definitely!

No time to catch up!! But I am still alive word frommDD internet around the 8th !!
:wave2:

I am so proud of them! They never complained and they helped me the whole time instead of starting to help and then bailing out on me...
can you send your boys to my house please? :rotfl2:

Yes...I got it straightened out...and everything will work out.

They were basically putting him in a classroom with children who are nonverbal, or nonambulatory...the most severely impacted children in our district.
Jon is so lucky to have you as his Mummy Jen!

Jo - My B-day is May 25th.
I'll add you to the list Kristel :thumbsup2

I have NO problem sitting on my own couch on the computer all day. ;)
Same here :rotfl2:

It's officially August!!!!!! :woohoo:
Wooohoooo :yay:

Been to the beach again today, it was very windy though so we got covered in sand! David is coming up today rather than tomorrow as he only had a couple of lessons tomorrow, or maybe he's just checking up on me ;) :rotfl2:

Nice car, Dawn. Don't strain yourself on the trampoline, now. :lmao:

Dawn: Easy on the trampolining! :thumbsup2

Easy on the trampolining lady.

Dawn- Take it easy Nellie, you just got the OKAY to swim with the big boys.

Wow, it's so sweet of you all to be concerned about me trampolining! :lmao: I'm worried, though, that Jen thinks I'm some sort of professional that practices daily! :rotfl2: Seriously, though, I'm scared to trampoline now. It's not like a c-section. There was repair on the inside that had to have stiches. I'm scared it will mess that up. I know the doctor said I was healing nicely, but I'm still scared. :guilty: Plus I'm on the third day of the bladder infection meds and I don't really feel better. There's only 3 pills, so this is the last day... :confused3

It sounds like your Tink and my Rachel would get along VERY well...:rolleyes1

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The kids got home from camp exhausted last night and are still asleep.:goodvibes
This weekend DH and I are going on an overnight trip to NC to go rafting with a group of friends.I am pretty excited.:woohoo: Today I am running errands, paying bills,washing their stinky laundry from camp,and buying back to school shoes for Tyler.He seems like he grew the week he was gone.Two counelors came to me and said Tyler had all the girls " in a dither" over him.:scared:
Okay- I have a favor to ask of my Fockers...
We will be studying the states soon and I was hoping I could get some help from you all. I thought maybe a postcard with a picture of something important from each state would be fun for the kids to help with their studies. I was thinking of sending a flat stanley to each person who would be interested in helping me and then you could send pics of him (if you go somewhere in your state that would be fun to learn about) and send them to me via e-mail Then you would send a post card back with Stanley to the kids. Would anyone be interested? :goodvibes
I would PM all info so it wouldn't be on the boards, of course. :teacher:
