Hi, all!

Glad the end of the week is sounding better. :)

We are trying to get all the little stuff done before heading to the wedding.

I am taking my computer, so if time allows I'll check in. :thumbsup2

I've got to run and take the dog to the kennel, so have a GREAT day and I'll see you from MO! :goodvibes

Oh - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EVAN!!!! :banana:

Happy Birthday Evan!

Been to the beach again today, it was very windy though so we got covered in sand! David is coming up today rather than tomorrow as he only had a couple of lessons tomorrow, or maybe he's just checking up on me ;) :rotfl2:
Hi,Jo!:goodvibes
So now Jo needs checking up on....:scared1: :rotfl2:
Wow, it's so sweet of you all to be concerned about me trampolining! :lmao: I'm worried, though, that Jen thinks I'm some sort of professional that practices daily! :rotfl2: Seriously, though, I'm scared to trampoline now. It's not like a c-section. There was repair on the inside that had to have stiches. I'm scared it will mess that up. I know the doctor said I was healing nicely, but I'm still scared. :guilty: Plus I'm on the third day of the bladder infection meds and I don't really feel better. There's only 3 pills, so this is the last day... :confused3

[/COLOR]

I don't blame you for being timid about trampolining.Just take it slow...
It may take a few more days ,some meds work even after you are done taking them.Probably wouldn't hurt to call and talk to a nurse though.:hug:

Okay- I have a favor to ask of my Fockers...
We will be studying the states soon and I was hoping I could get some help from you all. I thought maybe a postcard with a picture of something important from each state would be fun for the kids to help with their studies. I was thinking of sending a flat stanley to each person who would be interested in helping me and then you could send pics of him (if you go somewhere in your state that would be fun to learn about) and send them to me via e-mail Then you would send a post card back with Stanley to the kids. Would anyone be interested? :goodvibes
I would PM all info so it wouldn't be on the boards, of course. :teacher:

I`m in for R.I!! :banana: It would be fun for my kids also!

This weekend DH and I are going on an overnight trip to NC to go rafting with a group of friends.I am pretty excited.:woohoo: Today I am running errands, paying bills,washing their stinky laundry from camp,and buying back to school shoes for Tyler.He seems like he grew the week he was gone.Two counelors came to me and said Tyler had all the girls " in a dither" over him.:scared:

Have fun:goodvibes

Have fun CE.!

Hey Dawn! We'll do Michigan and Massachusetts if you don't have anyone...

If Margie wants to do Michigan, I'll do MA instead because that's where we're from!!!

MEL:banana: BTW-Where IS Margie???

Boy, was that a run-on sentence. Sorry, V. :goodvibes
:rotfl: It's all good CE! ;)

After we hit the grocery store and I about had it with the bickering of my children and tried to GIVE THEM AWAY to another mother in the baking aisle.

She didn't want them... :confused3
:rotfl2:

Thanks for all the well wishes on the Dr's tomorrow. I hope it's good news!
I don't go until around 1pm, so I'll check in later tomorrow and let you guys know.
Thinking about you Mel! :hug:

Hi Ladies! It so nice to see this Focker thread humming along. I am dealing with Disney World Let down:sad1: It's so beautiful and clean there. And freaking fantastic. Why don't I live in Florida :confused3
I'll give you some reasons:
Hurricanes
Humidity
Heat
Floridians
;)

So, anywho...the schools call me today...the counselor at the junior high...and informed me that they had apparently decided to place Jonathon in the functional classroom at our other junior high. Because he requires so much assistance...they felt it would be better to place him with the most severely disabled children in the district. :mad:

It even happens to me...and I'm a sped expert in a way...where the schools fart things up and jack around with your kids educational program.

Yes...I got it straightened out...and everything will work out.
You tell them Jen! :hug:

Because it is hotter than the bajeebers!
Ye-ep. The air is actually wet today it's so freaking humid. :sad2:

Good Morning everyone. It's the end of the week and it was a much better one than last ::yes::
Thank goodness! :grouphug:

:tiptoe: Here I am, tip-toeing into August. Let's hope it's better than the end of July was.
It will be - I feel good about it! :hug:

:rotfl: Hi Jo!

The kids got home from camp exhausted last night and are still asleep.:goodvibes
I love camp! ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So today is Leo's last day of horse camp. He's looking forward to being back at his regular school for camp next week, but says he'll miss riding. Looks like riding lessons are in his future. ;)
Nothing too exciting planned for us this weekend. I need to critique a painting, so Leo and I will be paying a visit to a local art museum. Some swimming, I'm sure. And some movie time at home.
Sounds yummy..:cloud9:
Yes,a playdate would be excellent...at your house,right?:goodvibes
I just got a call that my best friend is going rafting with us.:yay: :banana: :woohoo: We have been best friends since the 9th grade and only lives 5 minutes from me and we love it when we get to do stuff childless...:cheer2:
CE - Glad your enjoying your trip! Have fun this weekend!
Dawn - Take it easy but have fun.
Jo - That's it?!?! Poor guy must be lonely.
Mel - Woohoo on the cleaning and the help! Can you come whip my kids into shape?? And good luck at the doc's today!
Jen - Sounds like you had a busy day with the kids and I too have tried many times giving my kids away at the grocery store but no one seems to want them either. And YUMMO to the Baklava.
Jen2 - Glad you got things settled with the school and hopefully Jon's school year will go well. Linds is heading to Kindy this fall and DR will be starting preschool. I got the paper in the mail yesterday telling me when DR will start and I wanted to cry. :sad2:
Kristel - Yay on your BFF coming into town. I bet you will have tons of fun!
Janet - Have fun this weekend!
party: Happy Birthday, Evan!!!! party:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So not big plans for this morning and afternoon for us. I need to finish on laundry and pick up some. They are having a Fireman's Festival in town tonight that the kids and I are going to. There's a parade with firetrucks and the kids love to get the candy and then a little carnival area with ymmy food and rides.

Tomorrow night my aunt is having her 'Margaritaville' party. I won't be driving so I can get my drink on. :)

I went and did it...I cancelled my trip. :sad1: The more I thought about it the more I need the money already paid for the trip than the trip itself. I can at least put my kids in top priority even if their father doesn't. I know come September when we go to court things will work out and I'll be able to reschedule. Besides I have a credit with US Air that I'm not going to let to go to waste. LOL

That's about it for me. Hope y'all have a good one today!

I rode horses as a kid and loved it.I quit when my parents said I had to compete in jumping competitions or they would stop paying for the lessons.I was painfully shy so I quit.Rebekah took lessons a few years ago and loved it but it was too expensive to keep doing.Isn't it wonderful when you discover something your child has a passion for?

I'm so sorry - that's a tough decision to make. :hug: You know WDW will be here waiting for you, though!

Isn't it wonderful when you discover something your child has a passion for?
It really is! He seems to have found his niche, so I want to encourage him as much as I can. :goodvibes
