Morning ladies!

Well, the girls are at camp again until 1pm. I took the dog to the groomer and then came home and mowed the lawn. I'm thinking I've got to do something for me tomorrow for my last day of camp. What do you think? Any suggestions? I guess I could use a pedicure.... and I bought a new swimsuit from Lands End and the top is too big (amazingly enough), so I've got to run to Sears to return that and order a smaller one. And I think I'm going to meet my DH for lunch. I guess that will keep me busy, right?

I've got my first PTO board meeting of the year tonight. I can't believe that school starts in just a bit more than a week! We find out teacher assignments on Monday and then on Thursday we have our ice cream social where the kids get to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers. Then, next Monday, we head off to the bus for the first day of school!

Anyway, I hope everyone's day is going well. Have a great day!!!

Jen2- Thanks for the info on the Wii. I wanted to get one for the kids for Christmas, but K says not to until they are older.
Anyone have game suggestions for the Gamecube for 3 or more players? The kids are tired of the Muppets game.

Janet- Hey! :mad: I'm not trouble at all. I'm but a sweet, quiet, delicate flower. :angel: ;)

Lessa- My cousin worked at a nursing home for a while to get some experience. Now she's working at a hospital and starting nursing school in the fall. When she's done, she'll have 2 years hostial on her resume and may be able to be hired as a nurse where she's working now. Something like that might be a good direction to go to help your career down the line. :goodvibes

Kat- Have a fun day!

The car was sa-weet! Man, a lot has changed since I bought my suburban. There's a huge difference in a 2007 Dodge Durango and a 1999 Suburban! :lmao: I'm willing to bet it will be mine by the end of today. :banana: K and I always figure out exactly what we want before we get there. He's going to wheel and deal over the phone today. :thumbsup2 But even if they don't give us everything what we want, it's a great deal.

So, not only is Jo a slacker, but she's cheating on her hubby too? :confused3 :scared1: Jo, I always thought so highly of you....:rotfl:

JO!!! An affair. Shocking. Do tell....

Let me guess...with someone on the internet? :rotfl2:

:eek: With whompopcorn::

You're good if you can have an affair while your parents and children are around! ;)

Jo- :eek: An affair?! :eek:

Spill it, sistah! :rotfl2:

That is just not allowed! You can't leave us hanging like this.

Jo - :eek: He's joking right???.

I knew you all would love that statement :rotfl2: David phoned last night and said there had been a message for me on the answer phone from our friend Adrian, a while back don't know if you can remember but I was helping him arrange a WDW for him and his 2 kids. His wife left him a few years ago and he's the sweetest guy ever, well he turned up on the doorstep a few times, always when David was at work, the girls were home though. Anyway I did think that maybe he did have a soft spot for me seeing as he always used to go to David for golf lessons and rarely saw me, to suddenly come round several times, anyway the message said something like Hi Jo (not David) sorry I haven't been in touch lately, blah blah blah, no mention of david at all and David said the message was quite creepy and he honestly thought something may be going on :eek: He knows me better than that though but he did think it for a while!

Anyway I'm not having an affair :rotfl2:

DS15 called me again last night (about midnight) to tell me he was having a panic attack at that SAME friends! What is going on with that kid???!!!
He hasn't had panic attacks for years, so I'm stumped why all of a sudden.
Strange, hope they go away again!

Her fever is down...so that's good! :woohoo:
:thumbsup2

So.... guess who IS LEAVING TOMORROW :banana:
Wooohooo have fun Katt!

But my girl is the shyest little thing in town! But I'm proud of her for getting up there even though she was nervous.
Awwwww :goodvibes

Spent the day around the pool again, I can't believe 1 sleepless night has made me so tired, could not go back to the baby stage again :rotfl2:

That's what I was going to say. Do the pedi and have a nice lunch alone at a less-than-kid-friendly place that you may not get to go to often. I like to buy a gossip magazine and take my time eating and reading. It's so relaxing.

I love new school years! I love new books and all that organizing! :cloud9: Today I'm working on getting all the books from last semester out and the new ones into the school room. The other day I made tiny color-coded dot labels and printed out when unit each book was for. I was in heaven with all the tidiness! :lovestruc :lmao:

:snooty: Not nearly as exciting as the version I had in my head... :rotfl2:

I couldn't go back to the baby or younger kids stage either. No way. :headache:

I agree with Dawn. Not nearly as scandalous as I hoped Jo. ;)

I'm actually taking a lunch break today and thought I would spend it with the Fockers.

So you all doing.

I saw Janet's recap (thanks BTW). I missed alot. I think I posted on teh pre trip report, but I still don't know if I am going to new Mexico or not in 2 weeks. But 3 weeks from today I arrive at the Motherland, not to be confused with MOTHA-land.;)

LL - how is Michael feeling, poor guy:hug:

Katt - good for you on the extra day.:thumbsup2 I wonder if that is a sign of lower crowds??? Scary what the effect the economy is having on things.

T - surfed the quake, why doesn't this surprise:sad2: Love ya anyhow girlfriend, just leave those shakes when you come to WDW in a few weeks.

Lessa - happy B-day!!!!!

Jo - an affair, details, NOW! (was it with a Brit?:lmao: )

Kat - sorry about the fight:hug:

Jen - Jon OK?:hug:

V- I would be furious at the camp!

Dawn, glad you are healing and have fun with the new car.

OK, I can't remember anything else.

Later Fockers!

Got subway for the kids and I. That's my way of "buttering" them up to help me clean the entire basement!!!
Picked up DS15 and we talked. He said that he doesn't know what's triggering the panic attacks but he agreed to take a break from sleeping over there for a while. That's good enough for me for now. Tomorrow is Friday and no swim lessons! YAY! I am cleaning the house in the am, then I have to go back to the Glaucoma Dr. for a check up.

Keep those fingers crossed, Fockers! :goodvibes

I do not forsee drywall in my future but who knows Alek is a wildcard when it comes to gift giving, you just never know what kind of crazy thing he will have come up with.

:rotfl2:

Psssst... not till tomorrow! Sorry - I thought today was the first when I posted ;)

Oops. I will repost tomorrow! ::yes::

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not much going on today, Ben just slapped Annie upside the head for sucking her thumb too much! :headache:
Anywhooo,,,I have to go through all our bills today and come up with a budget and pay off balances, I am really really bad at paying bills. so we are behind on almost everything and it screws everything up. not because we dont have the money, but because I`m so unorganized and I blow things off,,so I end up paying double or triple the payments in a month plus the late fees!! ugggg,,,,So Steve agreed to get a loan from his acct at work so we can catch up and get a car by the end of the year or sooner. Were thinking 15,000 for a car,,,I just have to figure out what we need for the bills..He asked me when we were discussing this, "You dont want to do this just so you can go to that IP DIP thing do you?" uhhh,,no honey of course not!! ;) I will be figuring that in with the equation though!! I do think he wants to go just for the adults only time away and meet other people and have a good adult time!
I have to renew my Car Registration on my Jeep, and am thinking of a vanity plate,,,what do you girls think?
Yes, but it's only DD7 that starts next week. DD4 won't start until after Labor Day, since it's still preschool. But it's okay because DD4 isn't the drama queen that DD7 is...:laughing:
Also, I'll probably have my neighbor's little girl over quite a bit too due to her chemo schedule. In fact, I'm going to have her on Monday. She told her mom that she wanted to come to our house the next time Mommy had to go to the doctor. I guess she likes us!!!
Did you slap him back upside the head? That's what I would have done.... We're having a bit of a thumb sucking issue with DD4 as well. I'm hoping she quits on her own before she starts kindergarten.
Love the plate. How much more is it for a vanity plate? Here in Indiana, it's pretty expensive. I just went for the normal one. That reminds me that I need to renew mine next month. Just got the paperwork in the mail.
Here's hoping that you make it to Ip-Dip! I'd love to meet you and Steeb! :banana:
